Perfect place to disconnect, will definitely be renting again in the future

Beautiful location and cabin and Linda and David were wonderful hosts!

My boyfriend and I came up here with our dogs for a long weekend. This cabin had everything from pits and pans to salt/pepper and oil. The cabin is a short walk to the water and a close drive to many trails with beautiful waterfalls! I would absolutely come back here. Linda was very helpful with local suggestions and is easy to get in touch with!

Awesome stay! Cabin by the lake in the calm and quiet. Had an amazing view! The town everyone was just really nice! If you need a get away this would deff be it. Will do it again!

My husband and I returned to do a weekend of riding and we brought along our 2 dogs. The cabin was great. Just how we remembered from our trip this past winter. David and Linda were extremely accommodating and communitive. The property is great being right on the trail system. We were provided everything we needed including a window fan for upstairs which is needed since the cabin is "off grid" and there is no ac. I would only suggust to either bring some grill tools or reach our to the hosts and ask where they are ahead of time if you plan on grilling. We brought steaks and the grill could have used a cleaning (however there was plenty of propane). We worked it out and I am 100% positive David and Linda would have helped if I reached out to ask where the grill brush was but my husband had figured a work around before i could suggest reaching out. I hope the next guests enjoy this cabin as much as my family and i did.

Great location, several deer around. Strange wild sounds at night, grand children asking me what they were. Don't know. Good times

Perfect for our getaway. The husband and I were looking for a quiet place were we could celebrate out anniversary and do some snowmobile riding. Trail was easily accessible from the property and the owners were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would definitely be wanting to rent this summer.

Great time, House sits right on the trail system! The house was prefect for us. the owner lives very close and was very easy to communicate with. Driveway was plowed everyday so we never worried about getting snowed in. Owner would come by to clean off the solar panels if it snowed and grab any trash we had. Overall a great experience! Thank you!

The hosts were very nice, helpful, and responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The parking area was large so it was easy to maneuver a truck towing 2 snowmobiles.

Cabin is perfect for a few buddies! Right on top of the snowmobile trails couldnt be happier with the location.

Comfortable and well-equipped for humans and dogs. We enjoyed wintery outdoors and Scrabble indoors. Easy to find. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

It is a very relaxing place. Very nice people to deal with. You can't beat the location, great place for walks, loons calling at night. Very peaceful. I mentioned it was my woman's birthday and arrived with a note and a hanging thing saying happy birthday. She enjoyed everything. Thank you.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute we spent at this wonderful cabin/ the only thing we didn’t like is having to leave. We definitely plan to come back! Linda and David were perfect hosts and just live down the street, so I got to enjoy visiting with them. I also found the blueberry farm they recommended and had so much fun picking those huge, delicious blueberries. My husband loved being able to walk across the street and down the path for fishing and swimming. It truly was our home away from home!!

It was exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient location, our dog loved it, and many nights we sat out on the porch and ate our dinner and played cards. We had a great vacation.

My husband & I rented this lovely log cabin for our 5 year anniversary getaway in March. This is a true log cabin & was everything we expected plus more! Our dogs even had a blast! The location was perfect and being off the grid for a week was just wonderful. I can't say enough nice things about Linda & Dave too, the hosts of the cabin. They're just so caring and thoughtful, simply good-hearted people. We cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us as they went above and beyond & we truly appreciate it! Our entire vacation was spectacular, we will definitely be back. If your looking for the perfect cabin, love adventure & want amazing hosts then rent this log cabin, you will NOT be disappointed!

This was a great vacation, the parking area was well plowed and easy to use given we needed to manage a snowmobile trailer and truck. The snowmobile trail was easy to find. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had all the comforts of home. we plan to return.

Amazing location for those who want to ride the trails!

We enjoyed the picturous view, and sang music from the Sounds of Music, went to the lake near by, and took nice hikes.

This was an amazing experience! The location is beautiful, and the cabin was perfect. Small and cozy with a huge yard! Our hosts were beyond helpful, and went above and beyond when we experienced car trouble on the last day. They even took our kids on a golf cart ride! We will definitely be back again!

Linda was awesome about communication and our last minute booking. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a little time by the lake! The solar power held up even on the overcast days — very impressed!

Lake Francis across the street was the perfect surprise for a long scenic walk. The cabin itself is the perfect size, disconnected just enough to be able to enjoy the sounds of nature and just enjoy company. Loved the porch rockers. And that we had everything we needed to cook. When the power went out after a cloudy day, Dave came up and got the generator going within minutes. It was totally stress free. Exactly what we needed. Our dogs echo these praises!

Great little unplugged getaway. Solar power was great when most in Pittsburg lost power due to winds. Owners were attentive and accommodating. We will be back.

Easy and painless. Owners even brought over a broil pan for us during out stay and made sure the solar and generator was working to give us power 24/7!

I have been coming to this region for many years and I just discovered this place through VRBO . The owners linda and David couldn't be any nicer. I have not met Linda but have met David which was A very pleasant experience. My snowmobile broke down and he went out of his way to get me back on track . The cabin is at the Southern end of Lake Francis in a perfect location for either snowmobiling or four wheeling.

Awesome cabin, we had a blast with being able to hop on the trail system from the cabin. The owners were great and very responsive. Cozy cabin to come to after riding! My dog loved the large area to play in! Will definatly be back

We needed a weekend away. Linda and Dave were so accommodating and very kind. The trail access is right behind the house but the house hidden by the tree line making it more private. The Burg restaurant was AMAZING! Riding was great. We can’t wait to stay again!
