I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful family beach house with my husband, brother, SIL, niece and nephew, and the property was perfect for our needs.
It should be noted, there is no door on the smallest "bedroom space" where the bunk beds are...but that's only important if you need to contain a toddler who regularly escapes a pack n' play 😆. On the second night, we switched the 5 year old and the 2.5 year old's bedrooms, and it worked out much better and the 5 year old absolutely adored the bunk beds!
The queen bedrooms on the ocean facing side of the home are lovely and nicely sized. We appreciated all the extra beach and bath towels available, and I loved the en suite bathroom attached to the primary bedroom. The shower in there is wonderful!
Kitchen is spacious, well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and misc supplies. We ordered take out from a local restaurant one night (The Brownstone House) and had a wonderful meal, sitting around the large family kitchen table. The rest of our stay, we cooked our meals at "home" (grocery store is only 10 min away) and had a wonderful time doing so.
The kids (and adults) played in the sand, beachcombed, and enjoyed the private little beach directly beneath and in front of the home. This truly is a special place, and we hope to return (perhaps soon, without the kids, so as to enjoy the peace a little more!)

Our multi generational family ages 3 to 70 had a wonderful stay at this beach front Madison home. We loved the open concept living area where we spent all our meals and evenings together. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walks and runs many times. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, sheets, and bedding as well as everything we needed to cook all of our meals for the week in the kitchen. Also, great water pressure! Overall had a great week stay here

Our second visit ,Just spectacular .It should be supplied with hand towels, beach towels , washcloths .We even enjoyed the rain and spectacular view of the sound prior to possible hurricane .We'll be back

The house was everything it claimed to be. Plenty of room for everyone. We were blessed with good weather (couple of thunderstorms). The town of Madison was lovely. All in all, a great vacation for the family.

Very nice and comfortable house. Very good location right on the water. Property manager was really nice and extremely responsive. It would have been nice if bicycles and more than one paddle board were available. Would definitely rent again.

We had an incredible stay in Madison. The location was perfect - right on the beach and close to nearby towns. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The beach was perfect and great for our young son who could play in the protected area behind the rocks. Joe was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Amazing location with 360 degrees of beautiful views from this lovely home. The house was spacious, clean and comfortably fit our two families (2 couples and 4 children ages 1-8). The kids especially loved crabbing in the rocks and playing in the waves. The stilted home provides a wonderful shaded area for hanging out on the beach and is a perfect base from all of the day trip adventures— walks, runs, swims, paddle boards, bike rides, etc. Highly recommend!

We combined visiting our grandchildren in N.Madison with a summer vacation .Great weather allowed swimming , hiking , eating out etc .The manager , Joe ,was immediately responsive to our questions .Housekeeping provided a non slip bath mat when requested .We plan to return to this unique house in a great location .Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing time at 39 circle beach road!! We could not find one thing wrong with the property. Any questions Joe was veryyy fast in responding, we will be back!!! The views make you feel like you are on a cruise ship! We are landlords ourselves and love the way Joe runs his business. You must book and go!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach home. It worked well for our two families (four adults and four kids), with a large dining table and three living areas including one with a large sectional to watch a movie together. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice. The deck provides a wonderful spot to relax and take in the view of Long Island Sound. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood; everyone was so friendly. It was a short drive to explore downtown Madison and spend the day at Hammonasset State Beach. Joe was a helpful and responsive host. A wonderful way to end our summer!

Beautiful spot on the water, with unobstructed views of the ocean and marshes. House was very comfortable and Joe was extremely helpful and accessible, even mailing us back a couple of things we left behind!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beach house! We loved the private beach, the gorgeous views on all sides, playing in the water, taking walks and comfortable family dinners inside and out. The house is super comfortable and it was a really relaxing week.

As you can tell by the 5-Star rating above, we had a great week with family, and friends who visited periodically. That said, every effort should be made to ensure the house is safe and all components within are fully serviceable. More specifically, the two consecutive missing ballisters on the deck stairs need to be replaced for safety purposes (especially for little ones);
and the kitchen toaster needs to be replaced (only 2 of the 4 bread slots are operational) and the master bedroom chest of drawers needs to be replaced or repaired; all drawers stick or are hard to slide, and the bottom drawer is missing the middle slide/guide which causes it fall into the structure and makes it very difficult to use. Would also suggest more microwavable bowls and a serving platter or two be added to the kitchen inventory. While these criticisms are intended to improve the overall experience for subsequent guests, we all had a great time!

Fabulous House
When looking for a beach house, it doesn't get more convenient than this house, as it's right on the beach. Myself, my husband, two kids, mother, and in laws stayed here and we all loved it. Joe was very responsive to any questions I had about the house and wants to ensure guests have a great stay, which we did. The house was very clean, the cleanest out of all the houses we have rented through VRBO. They left a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers for us which was a really nice touch. We hope to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful beach house with us!

My sisters and I rented this home as a surprise for my mom. It’s was a mini getaway for us and it was beautiful. Beyond amazing location. The house was just perfect. So comfortable and relaxing.
The beach is so clean and beautiful. The owner communicated with us and quickly addressed any questions. We loved loved loved every minute of our vacation and already looked to rebook the home. It definitely did not disappoint. The house and location/beach are exactly as listed.

Peaceful and Relaxing
We had a peaceful, relaxing, and entertaining vacation. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the sunrise. Private area with lots to explore in the near by towns with fun shops and great restaurants. Beautifully kept beaches with amazing sunsets. Joe was great to work with and responded quickly throughout the whole process with any questions we had. House is well kept and as lovely as seen in the photos. We had a fabulous time and look forward to returning. Already recommending to friends and family.

Spectacular
Everything about this beach house is spectacular! We traveled with 2 adults & 3 children. Everyone had an amazing time at the house. Very clean, excellent communication with the host, amazing views from all rooms, quiet private beach. I could go on and on about with raving reviews. Do not hesitate booking the beach house. My family and I look forward to future stays!!!

Our family enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning. Beds were comfortable, property is very clean and nicely stocked with seasonings, cookware, dishes and basic supplies. The sound of the beach was calming and therapeutic. We had great weather. The host family gave us a bottle of wine and flowers!!

The house and beautiful location were wonderful. The house has an ocean view from every room. We feel asleep listening to the waves crash. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for a family of 6 to cook and enjoy dinners at the house. Plenty of room . Extremely clean.

The house is perfect for a relaxing family trip on the beach - the house is clean and has all the amenities needed. Joe is extremely responsive and easy to work with. The house location is phenomenal on a quiet beach with the waves right off the porch. Easy access to great towns and activities (Madison, Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport Museum, KidCity Museum in Middletown, Niantic Childrens Museum, etc)

Great beachfront property!
We had a great winter beach getaway…the property is just as described, clean, open, with great views of the Sound and the marsh. The home is well-appointed with everything you need and Joe was extremely responsive and helpful every step of the way. The location is fantastic, in a quiet neighborhood on a private beach where you can hear the waves every night. We would love to come back in the summer!

Birthday weekend
My husband & I shared a long birthday weekend at this lovely beachfront property. The home is well appointed and has everything you need. The deck off the living room is great for relaxing. The salt marsh across the street has wonderful sights of seabirds. Joe the owner made everything comfortable and special for us and is very accommodating as well as responsive. Looking forward to returning!

Superb Place to Stay
This house was a supreme choice to stay. The house is clean with comfortable beds. It is big enough for the whole family. There are beautiful views of the water from most of the rooms. The deck is a great size. Since it is located right on a private beach, children can play in the water while you watch them or join them.. Because of its unique location, there is a treasure trove of shells that collects near the house. there are tons of lady slippers, scallops, oysters and even conch. Book this house without hesitation , you won't regret it. If you go in with someone, you can split the cost.

Summer family vacation
This is a spectacular spot and lovely house. The views from inside the house are beautiful. Sitting in the living room or on the deck, it feels like you are on a boat looking at the water below. And we spent much time on the beach -- which is mostly isolated. You feel like you're in another world. As others wrote, the house is very clean and works well. The first floor is laid out so that there are different spaces for people to be in and the kitchen is great to cook in. The owner is remarkably responsive and we felt well taken care of. We are making plans to return to paradise next year.

Beautiful location and lovely stay
We loved it! The house is on a beautiful section of private beach in a quiet neighborhood. Rocks for exploring, shells and sea glass, and a sandy bottom to walk pretty far out at low tide. The sunsets over the marsh were some of the best we've ever seen!
The house itself was clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed and had no issues with our stay!
