The cabin was wonderful. We went fishing with our grandkids nearby. We saw turkeys, deer, and bear all at the cabin. All of our party was beyond excited over this place. We will definitely go back again.

I could write a whole book about how amazing Jim’s Cabin was! First of all I’d love to say the views, scenery and atmosphere of the cabin was the most magical experience time of my life! My family and I will never forget how amazing this cabin was and how amazing Jim is as a host for the cabin. Thank you again Jim and Patty for your amazing hospitality and for sharing such an amazing experience for myself and family! I would highly recommend anyone to rent Jim’s cabin a visit to stay at the beautiful and majestic Cabin in the valley above the clouds!! ( :

A short get away to the tranquil mountains! Amazing cabin!!
Stocked with everything you would want or need! Amazing views of the river while sitting on the porch glider was wonderful Never stayed at a cabin as clean as this one Every comfort was anticipated ! Our hosts were awesome! The furniture was very comfortable. The decor was exceptional! The drive to and from Dahlonega was very scenic ! Will come back!!!!

My family and I stayed here for the weekend. Our hope was to visit Dahlonega a couple of times since the listing show it was located within a 15 minute drive. However, it was a 40 - 45 minute drive depending on traffic on a very dangerous road.
The bed were uncomfortable and left us with sore backs. It was definitely not worht the time or money.

We celebrated our son's 13th birthday by staying the weekend in this amazing cabin along with my parents. He was so excited about the kisses left in the wooden basket, right as we walked in the door. This cabin was perfect for our special weekend. We cooked all meals there and never needed anything that wasn't furnished for us to prepare the meals. We enjoyed the pool table and the firepit area. We loved the sounds of nature all around us! The owners were so very nice about any questions we had before, during, and after our stay!

Pictures don’t do it justice. This place was impeccable from top to bottom and included so many thoughtful details to make our stay comfortable. So grateful we got to spend some relaxing family time here. Would love to stay again!

If you are someone who pays attention to detail then you will thoroughly enjoy this property. Great communication from the owner, the property is very well kept (even better than the pics in the listing), and everything you need is on site. Easy drive to Dahlonega, Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Played golf (several options nearby) and rode 6 Gap so plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again!!

Jim and Patti think of everything! My girlfriends and I get a cabin every year, and this property became an immediate favorite. Not only is the property gorgeous, but the owners have the cabin prepared with everything you will need. We would definitely love to come back!

We came to the mountains for a long weekend to attend the Highland Games in Meeks Park. I didn’t realize how long it would take to get there, but once I got used to those twisty roads, it was kind of fun. Despite the distance, I’m still glad we stayed in this cabin. It was very well appointed in both the bathrooms and kitchen. My two favorite parts were the chaise in the screened porch (I read in there every evening) and the hummingbird feeders (I got so many cool pictures). Such a relaxing experience.

My family and I went our on first family vacation out of state and had the best experience staying at this cabin! The cabin was absolutely stunning, very clean, and had amazing views. Jim and Patti stayed in communication with us and provided us with everything to make our vacation perfect! The weather kept us in most days and the cabin had everything we needed to keep our kids entertained. We definitely hope to return for many more family vacations!

This was one of the most beautiful cabins my family and I have ever stayed in. We tried to make it a yearly trip to go down to visit Helen, Georgia and decided to venture a little outside of our normal staying area. So glad we did! This home had everything you could possibly need and then more, the small touches the beautiful decorations, the views and the amazing upkeep of the home; made this one of the best vacations we have had. This will forever be in my memory and in my children's memories! Thank you so much for a fantastic weekend. Could not imagine staying anywhere else when coming down to Helen, Georgia in the future. Even the drive into Helen is worth it.

Not only was this cabin absolutely stunning AND spacious but there were so many extra touches that made it even better. We loved the fire pit, the pool table, and board games. We appreciated the additional extras like lotion, shampoo, wine, coffee, firewood, etc. Every room in this house smelt amazing. The host thought of everything. Everything you could possibly need was there (dishes, pans, flashlights). We loved our stay and would highly recommend this location.

From arrival to departure, I can't say enough good things about this property and the owners. There was such serenity and peacefulness surrounding our cabin. The sound of the wind chimes and water blessed my soul! My sisters and I were amazed at "the little things" provided including toiletries, snacks, and Bear spray! We didn't have to use the bear spray, but we made great use of the pool table and tvs. (Another comfy recliner on the lower level would be a great addition). None of us wanted to leave, and we will most certainly return to this place. I would love to see it in the spring and can't wait for my grandkids to be old enough to enjoy the tiny house!

This home was beautiful, so beautifully decorated everything we could need or want and even things we didn’t think about were provided. Check in process was a breeze loved that we were able to check in at two. Our host were amazing the wine was delicious thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. This is a must place to stay if you have the chance the area is beautiful and the people in the area are so friendly.

We were family/friends of adults s and teenagers. It rained a lot so we spent much time in the cabin and it was perfect! The cabin is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are so many beautiful personal touches in the decor.The pool room is great. It is above a main road which makes it easy to drive out to beautiful hikes nearby. The hosts are very attentive. Thank you!

There was nothing more any of us could ask for!!! If you love nature, the calming sound of the river, and an endless array of snacks, then this is the place for you. Perfect for Hiking & Fishing
The cabin was in the perfect location for a week of hiking and fishing. It had all the amenities of home. It’s beautifully decorated with antiques and lots of interesting decor. Our hosts were quick to respond to our questions. The notebook and labels made everything easy to find. It is a little off the grid but the WiFi worked well. We enjoyed all aspects of our visit and hope to be able to stay with them again soon.

Not sure which one has the green thumb, but the landscaping really blends with the natural surroundings. We will certainly rebook this great rental when we return to the area. Lovely cabin and property.
A great location and the cabin was nicely decorated, well stocked, ample room, all the comforts of home. The owner is super nice, is just up the hill, and they keep the cabin and property very clean and inviting. I highly recommend this location for awonderful vacation stay.

This cabin was absolutely perfect. My family and I stayed over a long weekend, and it could not have been better.
It snowed most of the weekend and the views were amazing. The hosts were available with any questions we had, and the cabin was perfect. The attention to detail was second to none, and it had everything you need to enjoy a vacation in the mountains.

This is the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever stayed in! The owners thought of everything, from snacks to wine and cozy throw blankets. It’s very isolated up in the mountains so bringing food for breakfast and dinner is recommended, because it’s 30+ minutes to anywhere!

Shampoo & conditioner, baby shampoo, lotions, bath salts, hair dryer, q-tips, cotton balls, hair ties, snacks and they even have a real gum-ball machine with a bowl of pennies to use!! Fully stocked kitchen - FULLY. I’m taking pots & pans, dishes, cups, utensils, cooking supplies, even spices and staples!
The river below is so peaceful (though it is across the road). Hiking trails are nearby or play all the games and activities, including pool!, that are right in the cabin! Yep - the hosts have several cabinets stocked with card games & board games as well as an exquisite pool table. 2 big screen TVs on the top and lower floors. Cozy couches and blankets aplenty.
Laundry facilities if you need them too! It really felt like home :)

Perfectly perfect!
This cabin is a wonderful spot to reserve. Our group consisted of 2 couples that wanted to enjoy fall weather (✔️), pretty foliage (✔️) and a good time hanging out together (✔️). This cabin has 3 separate indoor sitting areas and 3 outdoor sitting areas plus a sitting area around the fire. It totally exceeded our needs and wants. The owner has really nice decor and many amenities that aren’t even listed on the site listing. It’s pretty good when the only complaint I have is that there wasn’t enough storage space for our groceries….because there was so much stuff in the cupboards for us to use! The kitchen was almost as well equipped as my own home kitchen. Very impressive! Snacks were offered too. We all loved it!
