The place was nice, super clean and breezy(needed with the Puerto heat). Even though there was some construction nearby, the room was completely quiet(!). The staff(Myrna and Diego)were friendly and super helpful guiding us through what we needed and went out of their way to accommodate our requests

Wir hatten ein geräumiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Die gesamte Anlage, sowie die Gemeinschaftsküche wurden stets super sauber gehalten. Die Reinigungskräfte haben während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthaltes fast jeden Tag unser Zimmer gereinigt und waren sehr freundlich. Ebenso wie der Rest des Personals. Auch der Pool mit der Bepflanzung war wirklich wunderschön!

Als großen Nachteil haben wir die Baustelle direkt gegenüber von unserer Terrasse empfunden. Jeden Tag ab spätestens 7:30Uhr bis mindestens 16Uhr haben dort laute Bauarbeiten stattgefunden. So etwas müsste auf jeden Fall im Vorhinein mitgeteilt werden! Hätten wir das gewusst, dann hätten wir uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht, da so die Entspannung am Pool oder ruhige Stunden auf der Terrasse nicht möglich waren. Lediglich an Sonn- oder Feiertagen wurde nicht gearbeitet. Dadurch war außerdem der Seaview nicht mehr ganz so schön, wie gedacht. Wir hatten allerdings noch Glück, da unser Zimmer so lag, dass wir noch einen etwas schöneren Ausblick hatten als unsere Nachbarn. Wenn wir unser Zimmer verlassen wollten, dann mussten wir über die Terrasse des Nachbarzimmers laufen. Das war für uns kein großes Problem, aber für die Nachbarn sicherlich nicht so angenehm. Jeden Mittwoch findet außerdem ein BBQ statt, an dem alle Gäste gegen Gebühr teilnehmen können. Dieses findet auf der Dachterrasse statt und war leider immer bis nachts sehr laut. Stühle wurden laut verrückt und es wurde keine Rücksicht auf die darunter liegenden Zimmer gelegt, sodass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker! Es sollte täglich Obst zum Frühstück geben, woran allerdings sehr gespart wurde und wir eher als Dekoration empfunden haben. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas ab vom Trubel, was an sich sehr schön ist. Man muss aber 20/25 Minuten einplanen, um bei der Hauptstraße mit Restaurants, /Bars und dem Strand anzugelangen. Insbesondere der Weg zurück in die Villa Bonobo ist mit einem, insbesondere bei der Hitze, anstrengenden Anstieg verbunden.

I took my parents and sister to Puerto Escondido for the first time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than Villa Bonobo. Myrna and Alicia made us feel completely at home; it was a perfect mixture of relaxing but vibey; rooms were super comfy and the breakfasts each morning were excellent. I'm already looking forward to going back!

Beautiful little hotel with a very nice pool and a great rooftop terrace with a view of the ocean. Great place to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and clean and we loved the hammock outside. The staff is amazing - very friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied. It's also a great place to meet people as they offer joint activities (e. g. beachvolleyball, bbq, taco night) every day. We had a wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! :)

The 15-minute walk from the main street / the ocean gets pretty dark at night - however, we felt safe the whole time.

Even before arriving I got the nicest welcome whatsapp messages and instructions on how to get there easily by Fran... then the check in was super easy and the two best hostesses Fran and Sorrell made me feel at home right away. The place is beautiful, the sights from the terrace are amazing, the pool is perfect... they made sure we all felt like a little family, would give you any recommendation, invite you to participate in the hostel events, we went out partying after the famous Wednesday BBQ at the terrace... they saved my breakfast everytime I came after breakfast serving time from yoga class. My stay in Puerto hadn't been the same if it weren't for Bonobos. Thank you Fran and Sorrell from the bottom of my heart <3

Alyce and I really loved the friendly Staff who went above and beyond to make us well welcome…They assisted us with everything we required…Everyone we met there was super friendly and the vibe was always good…Rooms are comfy and modern…Pools perfect for chilling and a good meeting place
