We were absolutely thrilled with the house and the amenities. Everything was very organized, clean and very dog friendlly inside and out. Our dog especially loved the back yard. The train was very close, but it didn’t bother us at all and it didn’t run after 10 PM.. Our only gripe was that the outside garbage was full when we arrived. We will definitely consider staying there again. Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood and very comfortable..

It is so welcoming, and it says so; there is a ceramic plate that states, "Mi casa es su casa." The hacienda decoration and the patio make this home adorable. Furthermore, it is located in a quiet neighborhood, it is very clean, very spacious, and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is definitely a place we will go back to.

We stayed here while our home was undergoing construction, and it was such a relaxing experience! The layout is great, and our dogs LOVED the backyard, which was perfect for running around! Everything was beautifully clean and furniture/decor style is reasonably pet-proof so we didn’t have to stress about anything getting knocked over or broken by rambunctious pups. We also loved the short walk to the bluffs, which we did daily to soak in the ocean views. It’s a super friendly, relaxed community, and the neighbors would always say hello when we walked by with the doggies! Great place in a great neighborhood. Our stay here was a glimmer of positivity during an otherwise stressful week for us. Thank you!

The rental is comfortable, clean and an easy walk to the water for some wonderful ocean views. It's in a quiet neighborhood but yes, you do hear the trains. We used a white noise app on my phone at night and during the day we felt it a pleasant sound. We loved using the fire place in the cool of the morning. The management was quick to respond to any concerns. We would happily rent this location again.

The accommodations were clean and homey. I didn’t realize the train was that close to the house, it started at 6:00am rumbling by and tooting the horn and ran until midnight. Friends that live there said you get use to it.

This is an exceptional home. The owners listed everything to make it so much easier for everyone.
It was spotless, filled with necessary amenities (shampoos, lotions, paper products) and so much more. The neighborhood was one block from the ocean and very close to the Village Center.
The beds were so very comfortable. There wasn't a single thing
not to our satisfaction. It was like walking into a brand new house that was designed by a professional designer.
Again, this is an exceptional home and we would highly recommend it to any age group.

Very nice Spanish style home with every appliance you could dream of. Property managers were very available for any questions. Perfect location and walking distance to ocean.

The house in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and walking trails. It is well kept, clean and has plenty of ocean air breeze as it's close to the beach. If you like to cook there are plenty of supplies. The yard is nice for outdoor meals. Easy and prompt communication with the rental property. It's a short drive to the village, outlet malls etc unless you like long walks.

We actually booked here last min after a failed stay at a well known hotel. Thankfully we found this listing. Our stay here was hands down a great choice.

Perfect for what we needed
Experience was great. We needed something close to Pendleton and Carlsbad Blvd for a friend’s retirement ceremonies. This fit the bill. Walking to the beach was a big bonus. Only reason for minus one star on the “location/neighborhood” category, was the neighborhood was filled with copious parked cars along the roads, including encroaching the driveway to the property, one of which was a behemoth RV that obscured the entire view from the front porch. Lovely home. Carlsbad was good to us. Thank you

Great stay
Loved this property. So close to beach, legoland and the bouncey houses at Carlsbad Strawberry. House was set up for kids. Will stay there when we go back.

Comfortable and Relaxing House for Family Vacation
My family really enjoyed staying in this home. There was plenty of room for my family of 6. My children are all over the age of 12 so having enough space for them to sleep comfortably is really important. This house had plenty of bed space as well as more than enough living room, dining room and kitchen space for our family. We also enjoyed the backyard. We were able to eat outside on the patio, grill and enjoy a fire in the evenings. The beach access was about a 15 minute walk but we were also able to pack up our vehicle and drive to the beach within a few minutes. Another advantage to this property is the ease of parking in the driveway and the garage.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a comfortable home within close proximity to the beach.

Perfect family home for vacation
Property was in older neighborhood and train runs behind property but other than that, home was beautiful and well stocked. Nice yard and easy quick walk to beach. Very easy to communicate with owners. Would definitely stay here again and recommend property to others.

Casa Terramar
We truly enjoyed staying at Casa Terramar. The location was exactly as described and it embraced the Spanish style in the decor. Every amenity and detail was considered: from excellent mattresses to games to utilize. The location is also very close to the beach, park and LEGOLAND. My family truly enjoyed visiting all three. There is a train that runs behind the house periodically but it doesn’t take away from the house and atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Carlsbad Home!
We were so happy to stay here. It was a nice and clean home in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space to spread out. It was a short 15 minute walk to the beach, and a quick car ride to Downtown Carlsbad for the bars. Slept 6 easily. No A/C as advertised but there are plenty of screen doors to create a cross breeze. The property manager, Nick, was very helpful throughout the process, especially via text message during our stay.

Enjoyable stay!
We totally enjoyed our stay here! The beach was an easy walk to and there is a park near by for little ones. Our grandchildren loved going to the park! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the items needed, along with snacks and beverages to greet us. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed having a fire place and did use it most mornings. This rental worked out so well for us and we hope it's available the next time we come to Carlsbad.
