perfect place to say

Having viewed the property pictures and reviews, we had prepared ourselves for an "older" home needing upgrades. Our entire group of 14 (ages 5 to 48)vwas surprised when we arrived to a place exceeding our expectations! Flat screen tvs in each bedroom, plenty of restrooms, extra bedding, and ALL kitchen appliances and cookware. Thank you for allowing us to stay, and for making the process seamless. This was our first attempt at a blended family vacation, and we couldn't ask for a better time. We look forward to possibly repeating this trip in the future, as we have all stated the memories will last a lifetime!

We had a great time at this property! Sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning enjoying the view and the gazebo with the ceiling fan were great. However, the dock is the best feature of this home. The diving platform and slide were a hit with the kids and there was plenty of space for the adults to sit and watch in the shade. We also rented a pontoon boat for a day and docking was easy. It seems they are working on updating the home - new flat screen TV's in all the rooms (and no VCR's).

Functional for large crew, cleaning was adequate. Family made good memories. Sink had to be repaired, response and correction happened quickly. Only feedback was that the grounds and house needed a bit of TLC.

Our family enjoyed our time at your house. It had everything we needed to have a great stay.

Amazing house and easy to work with the owners.

Our stay was great! The place was older, but absolutely clean and welcoming. The access to the dock and paddle boat were great!

We had a great week. Really enjoyed the dock slide, high dive and paddle boat. Had a small hiccup with dock electric which after notifying the contact person was swiftly fixed. The house is equipped with lots of extra cots, mattresses and bedding. There were plenty of towels with a whole closet in the master of backup towels. I would suggest to bring your own nonstick frying pan. We were able to store two boat trailers on the property. Berger’s marina was convenient to property to launch boats. Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful location of the house. Its beautifully done interiors. Only few problems we had : 1. Bathroom faucet was broken so we couldn't use it to take a shower throughout our stay of 5 nights. 2. All the futon beds either were broken or the mattress was very old that it wasnt comfortable for kids to sleep on. An adult could definitely not use it. WE complained about the broken futon and the very next day were given a brand new air mattress. We used the air mattress given and we got 1 with us too to sleep in the common spaces. Loved the kitchen setup with all new crockery/Dinnerware set.

Was a wonderful large property for brining a group of three families together with kids. House is a comfortable well designed lake house with two levels and plenty of deck. Lots of cooking items for different group dinners. Nice floating dock that is out of the way of boat traffic so kids could swim safely in the lake several times a day. Close to city with grocery stores 15 min away but near wildlife. Was great for a reunion of three families.

My spouse & our 2 adult children, one son-in-law & one grandchild enjoyed our stay. The personal dock was great for fishing and the diving steps were lots of fun. The decks are cool and so is the view. The house is big & clean, but could use some updating. We saw centipedes in several rooms. Basement was musty smelling. Outside didn't have very good areas for our dog to relieve itself, but that's typical for a lakehouse.

Good location - no instructions on what to do upon check out- used 2013 directions. Limited towels- beds not comfortable. It was great to have 4 bathrooms.

Great place + lots of room - quiet cove.

The property was a perfect size and location for what we needed. It was spacious and accommodated 9 of us very nicely. We spent most of our time enjoying the water and the dock. The decks on the house were amazing and provided a wonderful view. We spent most of the time we weren’t on the water there.The owner was wonderful to work and communicate with. There was a slight plumbing issue and he had it fixed within an hour. Excellent experience.

From the very beginning I had very slow communication w/the owner. I had questions about the property and it would takes days to get a reply. On the day of our stay I still had not received instructions on how to enter the property. When we arrived there were no instructions and when I phoned the owner he was completely unaware that we were coming, did not know if the place had been cleaned and tried to convince me to move to another property that was a 45 minute drive from the one we were supposed to be staying. There was no key for us to get into the property we had rented. We spent almost an hour on the phone with him trying to find a key to get in. He finally remembered where a spare key was hidden and we were able to enter. The floors and kitchen and bathrooms had been cleaned but we were unsure if linens had been washed as departure instructions said do not strip the beds. The owner offered to refund us a portion of our stay for all the trouble. It has been almost 30 days and we still have not received that refund. Needless to say we were very disappointed and frustrated with the whole situation. We will not rent from him again.

Accommodated 8 adults and 1 baby very nicely.

We had 3 families staying together and the house was perfect to accommodate our group of 12 and let everyone have their own space. We enjoyed the lake and the dock and will be back again.

Just returned home from our 3 night family get away at the Lake of the Ozarks and can’t wait to go back! There were 13 of us and we never once felt over crowded. So many places to hang out together or privately!! Three of the 4 bedrooms are designed as master suites! This was wonderful for the adults in our crew! Enjoyed our time on the dock fishing, swimming, paddle boating and the most fun was the slide and diving platform!! Nice quiet cove in a no wake zone made it super enjoyable!! Had a blast at this lake home and it’s gorgeous location!!

The family had a blast! My husband, two boys 12, 14 and daughter 22 , her boyfriend and I all had an amazing time. The home was spacious. We never felt crowded! The dock with slide and dive platform was a hit! Fishing off the dock was good too! We caught crappie, bass and catfish. The home is close enough to town and restaurants but feels secluded. The home has an old fashioned homey feel to it but has everything you could possibly need! Would definitely stay again!

We all appreciated this classic lake property and were very comfortable. We had a blast. Thanks for being such a gracious host Henry! We will be back.

Great house in a great location.

Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a fabulous time. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our grandkids loved having the pool table and foosball table and played nearly all day most days. The views are great with the huge porches. Henry was truly a joy to work with. He took care of everything for us including setting up a Christmas tree so our grandkids could enjoy that as well. We would absolutely go back here again and would recommend to anyone. There were 14 of us in all and we never felt crowded. Great holiday stay.

Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 kids, plus one dog, had one of the best vacations ever! We plan an annual vacation every year and this year did not disappoint. Not really knowing the lake, we took a stab in the dark with house on Horseshoe Bend. Henry's Lakefront home was perfect. Henry was very accessible via phone and email before we even got there in July and answered all our questions. He even gave us great suggestions. Thank you, Henry for suggesting that we rent a boat from Gary and Debbie! This saved us from having to find a boat rental place and Gary couldn't have been more nice. We rented the pontoon boat for 3 full days with a rafting tube. I highly recommend this! The boat and the house completed our vacation. We loved that we had our own boat dock and the kids/adults could swim right off the dock, (which we did everyday). We used the paddle boat, the slide off the dock, which proved to be a great attraction with the kids. Really liked the seclusion of the house and dock with trees all around. The grocery store was nearby and we went out to JJ's Pizza and that was delicious. The house was clean and we felt right at home. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. All the beds were comfortable. The rooms were very spacious and bathrooms were attached or close by that everyone had their own space. Our 10 people is a combination of three families and we felt this house allowed us to be together but not cramped. We enjoyed the game room everyday. The pool table and golf video game was an instant hit. We used the BBQ and the gas fire pit. Loved sitting on the deck with the gazebo (adults had dinner there most nights) and the table for 4 overlooking the lake was the kids favorite. The kitchen had every appliance needed. We flew in from California and Henry, the owner helped make this an unforgettable experience for us, and we would not only do this again in this house but highly recommend it for any family or large group!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4th of July vacation here. We had four families, with a total of 8 adults and 9 children, sleeping and eating very comfortably in the home. The pictures of the deck and dock, just don’t do them justice. The deck is HUGE and we spent most of our days lounging, swimging and fishing off the dock. It was a great house for a leisurely lake vacation. The owner was fantastic to work with and we highly recommend the property!

It was the perfect place for our family of 12. The house was very clean and furnished with everything. The waterslide, diving platform deck and dock made hours of fun for both kids and adults. The owner made sure had everything we needed. Even though we were in a cove and isolated surrounding, we were very close to stores, retaurants and marina. We will definitely return.

Loved this house rental at Lake Ozark Mo. Henry was great. Always easy to contact with any questions. Arrived a couple hours early in time to go grocery shopping at Dierbergs Grocery Store. This is a must for shopping. Grilled out a couple times on the gazebo. Loved the location. Right next to Glen Cove Marina. Rented from them twice. Adults and kids all loved feeding the ducks daily. Loved all the space in the house. My kids and grand kids went fishing from the dock several times and everyone took a ride in the paddle boat that was included. We received great Internet, cable and phone connections. Very secluded surrounded by trees. Condos on both sides but invisible to the eye unless you went out on the lake. Loved the whirlpool hot tub in master bathroom. Everything possible was provided. Including hair dryers in all bathrooms and fans and tvs for all bedrooms. The master bedroom mattress was wonderfull. Would like to know the mattress brand. Great sleeping. Deer roamed the premises daily. Best relaxing week of vacation ever. Of course the shopping and restaurant selection was awesome. J. B. Hooks restaurant is to die for. Filet steak was like mashed potatoes melting in your mouth. Expensive but worth every penny. Henry called a couple times while we were there just to ask if everything was going well and if we were enjoying the house. Very thoughtfull of him. Could not get my husband to leave. The house was spotless and dining table was set for dinner when we arrived so we wanted to leave the house as we found it. Henry did allow us to bring our yorkie with us. Of course like home he wore his diaper inside. We very much appreciated Henry allowing our little Bouncie to join our family vacation. For everyone who has pets they are like our kids. Thank you Henry. Hope we can provide this vacation for our family next year.

My golfing group recently stayed in this lakefront home for the 7th year in a row. It easily accommodates the 12 of us. Whether sitting on the deck visiting or engaging in a rousing foosball tournament, a great time is had by all. While it is 12 guys for my group, the house would also be ideal for family get togethers. I highly recommend this rental and Henry is great! If it wasn't so great, we wouldn't go back every year!!

We had such a blast staying at this house. It was big and spacious with everything we needed. A group of girl stayed here for a conference and we really enjoyed our stay. Henry made sure we had everything we needed and he was super helpful. We used the grill one night to make dinner and it worked very good! I was very pleased and would definitely rent from him again!
