The outdoor area is terrific. Our son and his young family really enjoyed the play area and the pool.

We came down from North TX with 2 kids (7 & 9 yrs-old) for pool vacation and to see The Alamo. Would give 4.5 stars overall because this attached guesthouse was great (clean, cozy, convenient location to downtown/Alamo, GORGEOUS backyard with awesome pools, great hosts). Our kids had a lot of fun swimming with two of the hosts' similar aged kids. Hosts were available but not hovering, extremely nice... & even accommodating when we asked for a day for only our family at the pool. They turned on the outdoor cafe lights, fountains, and pool lights which were lovely to see nightly. ONLY negative is that the mattress in master bedroom is absolutely terrible and needs to be replaced now, it has a dip in the center so wide & deep (size of large adult) that is is impossible to sleep in the middle, I slept on one edge before husband joined us. When he joined us, it was so uncomfortable that I left the bed & slept in larger bed with my 9 yo in the kid's room for 2 nights. Husband had rough/stiff 2 nights bc of the uncomfortable mattress. This is unacceptable, especially when we paid over $500/night. Kids room & mattresses were great. With new master bedroom mattress, this is an easy 5 stars.

Constructively, we didn’t see the craft room and the fridge didn’t make ice. It was the perfect amount of space for two adults and three children. A bonus is the beautiful green hill countryside.

Great overall experience, the owners are amazing host and the best VRBO home I’ve had the opportunity to stay at. It’s like having your very own Great Wolf Lodge all to yourself!. My family and I would highly recommend and plan on staying again. Many thanks to the entire Kimble family for an amazing weekend!

Beautiful large home that has everything you need and plenty of room! Backyard is such a cool place to just hang out and let the kids play and ours (12 and 10) loved it. Courtney (host) was very responsive and friendly. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and very safe. Drive times to locations are very accurate and drives were very easy. Highly recommend!
