We have been sleeping in this hotel since 2008. Once or twice a year when driving between Switzerland and Norway. Bad Fallingbostel is located about 45 minutes from Hamburg center (depending upon traffic conditions). It is also near Hannover and the Autobahn going to Bremen. The hotel offers single rooms, double rooms and vacation room for families. It is not far from Luneburger Heide and you can enjoy being in the countryside when the sun shines. The village has all you need. From Kebab shops to hair dressers. Several restaurants. The Utspann restaurant is something like 5 minutes walking distance and you will find traditional German cooking. The building is being renovated as I write this review. The rooms has TV, sofa, table, bed, fridge and boiler to make hot water. Free WifI. We stayed in the 1st fllor this year and was rewarded with a private balcony outside the room. The weather was hot and we enjoyed relaxing outside. Our bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend the very good brekafast. Served by the owner. I think the hotels (Gasthof) run by the owners are the most friendly places to stay when travelling. Village with all facilities needed for a short stay or vacation. Located close to Autobahn Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen. I have used this hotel on a regular basis since 2008 when I drive between Switzerland and Norway via Kiel or Hirtshals. This time I slept in a room big enough for 3 people. It had a very comfortable double bed. Sofa and salon. Mini kitchen with table and fridge. Very quiet place to sleep. The breakfast is excellent. Better than most places. It is always more pleasant to stay in a place where the owner is part of the staff. Highly recommended. This time I had kebab as evening meal. When I return in a few days I will eat late evening meal in Wang. A professional Chinese restaurant nearby. There is also other good eating places in walking distance. For example Utspann with traditional German dishes.

Best breakfast I can think of. Very kind owner. Fridge and TV in spacious room for 3 people. Always clean. Ate in Chinese restaurant Wang 2 km away. Slept well. I have stayed in this place many, many times for the last 15 years. It is located near Autobahn Hannover - Hamburg so optimal for me as stopover. Highly recommended. Best breakfast I ever seen. Very kind owner. Spacious apartment with fridge and flatscreen and WiFi.

Breakfast was good, what was missing was some fruit preserves/ jam / honey which is normally available for a typical German breakfast. Big spacious family room, with an attached kitchenette. Quite close to the highway so a good stopover for a night.

The kettle wasn't clean- it badly needs some descaling. We were awoken early in the morning by noises and a loud radio from outside.

The rooms are a little outdated, but very clean and cozy. We had plenty of room for our family. The staff was very accommodating as we were late to check in.

Friendly and ordentlig host. Clean and tidy rooms. Very cosy, decorated with porceline dollsans toys, you get a very nice home feeling. Tasty, fresh and ver nicely served breakfast, exactly at the time.you wished to have it. The owner's dog was just adorable!!! You get so much more for the little money paid.
