Loved the location and the view and the beds. Home came with everything you need to cook and be comfortable- but the house has no AC, only table top fans and old windows that don’t all open easily. If you are sensitive to heat or coming during a hot season I’d be a little worried. Winter would be fantastic as it also has a great gas fireplace and is cozy. The one car parking is tricky but luckily we were there during season when you can park on Main Street and it was not too busy yet. Easy walk from covered parking to unit. I loved the location of North Tahoe, seemed so much nicer than the South section and a great little town is less than 10 min away but a supermarket is less than a mile. Super walking trails nearby. Great deck and place to chill. Neighbors all close by but was not too noisy late at night. Loved the sauna and wanted to spend as much time at the cottage as possible to enjoy the spectacular view. Stunning. Would definitely go back.

I highly recommend staying at this property. The view is the best. You can just stay there all day. The sun room is wonderful and inviting. The property is clean and very comfortable, especially the king-sized bed. The property manager is excellent and prompt if you need anything. We hope to come back!!

I highly recommend booking this rental as it right on the lake. The views from the living room are amazing and it was really quiet and clean. The house is well equipped with utensils, bedsheets, towels, etc. We would definitely keep coming back.

The lake is gorgeous from this property! Right on the water, with it's own dock. The interior furnishings are slightly dated, but comfortable. One larger bathroom, and one small, worked for our party of four adults. Loved having tea & coffee on the deck in the morning. Overall, a lovely stay.

The property is a lovely setting. We have been staying in this area for many,many years and it’s near & dear to everything we love about Lake Tahoe. There is nothing like being right on the Lake. We lacked for nothing except a private chef!

I looked to rent a lakefront where my kids and I could kick off our shoes and relax but have the option of being outside to thoroughly enjoy beautiful lake Tahoe. Fortunately we found our heaven at the Pine Cove Cottages on VRBO. I found this cottage on a whim because I decided to search one more time for a lakefront cabin just days before we needed it. Because of a cancelation the Pine Cove became available. I lot SO lucky!! If you are looking for a small and simple place to unwind and enjoy nature at it's finest, this is it. This is a cottage to LOVE .... and it is just a stones throw away from the lake. It's not fancy or grand but it is rich in history and big on comfort. It is not modern or "smart" but is is SMART and pure in the most honorable ways. You can toss your electronics and get back to what is real and healthy!! It is purely beautiful and what I consider the perfect quintessential lakefront cabin. A true throwback cabin ... charming and small with a BIG view. We had puzzles going in every room, kayak or paddle board morning and evenings, swam and played on the beach ... went out to dinner in the evenings and the surrounding restaurants were great. The people in the neighboring cottages were all so nice and polite... the grounds are simple and easy to navigate ... and safe. The water on the north shore is warmer too ... we couldn't get out of the lake. It was pure heaven! My kids and I had the best time and we all cried when we had to leave. Mischel the property manager is exceptional too. Our experience was nothing short of perfect. Thank you

Centralized location. Great family set up. Sandy beach with private pier and balcony. House is adorable. Definitely the Tahoe vacation we imagined.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in the lake front cabin. Everything was clean, the cabin was well equipped and the view was beautiful. We’ll definitely be staying again.

We came to celebrate the holidays, a 65th birthday, and ringing in the New Year. We enjoyed every moment in the cabin with our family. The views, sunsets, etc. were absolutely stunning from the large picture window in the living room to the views from the kitchen bay windows. The cabin was very clean, the bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen well stocked...washer & dryer just off the kitchen was also a nice perk. Also enjoyed the indoor sauna with a view of the lake.....what a wonderful retreat! Dennis & Pam X.

This is most likely a lovely place to stay if you can be outside all of the time in the summer or late fall. The air quality was exceptional. The cottage was very warm, the kitchen big enough for a small family to eat Thanksgiving dinner, but when the weather is wet and rainy, it was not pleasant especially for a 4 year old. The beach had a sign that said no dogs, but there were dogs everywhere. And dog owners did not clean up after their dogs. The cottage needs some TLC especially the moldings, walls and corners. Dead insects were on plates, and things were just a little grimy. Maybe a thorough cleaning of everything is needed next spring.

One of 6 lakeside cottages, this quaint 2 bedroom’s deck overlooks the beach. Sit in the roomy bay window alcove and watch the kite surfers if it’s windy, or get out and paddle board or kayak of the lake is calm or just enjoy the private dock for Pine Cove cottages. Relax in the sauna after a day hiking, biking, golfing, skiing or whatever outdoor activity draws you - everything is nearby. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked all our meals (Safeway is walking distance). Washer and dryer means you can pack light. There is only space for one vehicle per unit, but you can tandem park or park on the street. The outdoor furnishings were a little tired but we were so distracted by the view we didn’t mind. Furnishings are homey and comfortable. We were concerned the brass headboard was a bit wobbly and missing some screws but it was fine. North Tahoe Regional Park is a couple of block walk on the other side of the street and we took our dogs there every day. Although dogs aren’t allowed in the beach, there were many every day off leash even. Even though we were told well behaved dogs weren’t bothered by animal servies we generally avoided the beach due to off leash dogs. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing couple of days! We will return!

We had such a great time at Pine Cove #1. It was tranquil and relaxing. The house had everything you could ask for. Only thing was that the beds weren't that comfortable, but the view makes up for that! Such a cute, clean place to be.

This house is exactly what we wanted! Comfortable, cozy, and lakefront. As 5 adults we all ate, slept and hung out comfortably in this house. Lots of seating inside although we spend nearly every day out on the deck. The view out there is out of this world-it's called Tahoe Vista for a reason! There is a great bay window that overlooks the lake that is the best morning coffee spot. Lots of BBQing, water sports, swimming and hanging out. The Sauna is an awesome perk! Stocked kitchen for cooking, outdoor lights make it easy to hang outside long after the sun went down. Fluffy, towels, clean house and super easy check-out process. The location is really central to head west to Tahoe City and West Shore or east and go to Incline. Really close to King's Beach too where we rented jet ski's and paddle boards for the afternoon. This was an adults only trip but we can't wait to bring our kids up next time!
