This is our second time staying here and we love it even more. Perfect for families, great outdoor space, wonderful views. Super clean with every amenity that we could possibly need. The kids love the game room. We would not stay anywhere else in Maggie Valley.

We loved every part of Little Bear. The large entry porch, running the length of the house, looks over a ravine full of rhododendrons, magnolias and other natives, creating a private screen. The backyard has a fire pit, plenty of seating, and a picnic table for outdoor dining and family fun. The main room has cathedral ceilings, an open floor plan for living room, dining room and kitchen. The comfortable furniture is full of recliners so kick back and relax. The well appointed kitchen contained both Keurig and drip coffee makers so pick your favorite. There are plenty of pots, bowls, cutting boards and knives, all of which are often in short supply at other rentals. All the rooms are generous in size and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. The home was immaculate. We appreciated the location in Maggie Valley and were able to see elk in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of our vacation dreams. Although there were only two of us, Little Bear would comfortably fit a family of 6. We appreciated this beautiful home.

We loved our stay at Little Bear. The back porch and the fire ring are great amenities. The house is well appointed and well equipped. Lots of games, fantastic new refrigerator, and even EV plug ins. I highly recommend this rental.

Easy to get to, love the porches and pool room

We loved our stay at Little Bear. The perfect size for our family of five, we felt like we were alone in the woods on the mountain, even though there were neighbors close. The accommodations were wonderful - just bring an iron if you’re attending a wedding! 😂 Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful home and peaceful location with the creek next door lulling us to sleep. Unfortunately, the lights stopped working in one of the bathrooms and was not addressed during our stay. Would have liked a discount for that inconvenience but since the host was a third-party company, no sympathy was given and communication was sterile and impersonal. The linens weren't gross or anything but they are overdue for updating. Otherwise, the home was clean and quiet at night (neighbor nearby was blasting music during the day). The bear theme was cute and the home was spacious and comfortable for a family to stay in.

We came to town for the truck show and stayed a few extra days! Beautiful property that’s close to town but still far enough away to have a peace and quiet!

Absolutely beautiful cabininside and out. It has everything you need for a vacation. Will definitely go back for a longer stay.

Very nice property. It has Roku tv, took a little getting used to. Very nice interior and porch. We would go there again.

This cabin has every thing you need and want and more. We loved the game room and the scenery is to die for. very quiet location perfect for coffee and watching the sun come up. Surrounded by mountains. All the little details in the cabin make it feel like home. Only thing I have negative to say is the master bed is very firm other than that we loved our stay and plan to come back again.

Perfect home for a weekend getaway. Great location and not far from the ski slopes. Home was very clean and the game room was a added bonus.

My family and I loved the Little Bear cabin! The location was very convenient and allowed us to take day trips to Asheville and Cherokee as well as enjoying the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area. Cabin is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The stream outside the cabin sounded wonderful and was very relaxing. Loved seeing the family of elk right outside the cabin! Definitely recommend! Loved our stay at Little Bear!

We spent 4 nights, couldn't use the brick hard queen in main bdrm, used the softer queen in spare room, vacasa sent a TV remote to us, as the frtrm, TV wasn't working, enjoyed the creek as we sat on the deck chairs, would love to know where they bought them, enjoyed some pool in the Gameroom/ garage, didn't know Maggie Valley is mostly closed down Sun/Mon, for dining out, if we go back would choose Summer months, as much of the town is still closed down in April/May, about this rental, wouldn't return unless a more suitable mattress is used in master bedroom.

We visited Maggie Valley to ski for my son’s 13th birthday. It being our first time we needed to find a place to accommodate our group of 6. This property provided just that! It was roomy and welcoming. We thought the cabin themed home was the perfect layout which included a game room essential for our boys to keep busy. The kitchen was fully equipped with beautiful upgraded appliances for meal preparations. The only minor flaw that we experienced was a little plumbing blockage in the master shower. I’m sure some drain-o would be a quick fix to that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend/rebook in the future.

We stayed there for one week and had wonderful time. The location is GREAT, private and yet very convenient. The house is very cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped and super functional. The internet is very reliable (we worked remotely a bit). We'd love to return some day. Improvements? 1) a more eye-catching roadside sign would be helpful since you can hardly see the house from road. We missed it the first time driving by in the dark. 2) the house is very clear but the carpet in bedrooms looks a bit frowsy.

We had a great time. Cabin was very clean and the kids loved hanging out in the game room. The WiFi and Spectrum TV service was outstanding!!!!

A quick family getaway, all was perfect!!

We liked the property. Labeling the light switches would be very helpful. Driveway was a little scary. Bathrooms are beautiful and function well. View of the leaves and mountains was breath taking. Thanks for sharing with us.

Little Bear rental home was truly wonderful and accommodating. The home was spotless, well stocked, had an easily accessible floor plan and a thoughtful gift basket to enjoy. We had a very nice stay and would highly recommend it.

Little Bear was awesome..exceptionally clean...beds were wonderful. It had everything we needed. Our furbaby loved exploring the yards and seeing the chipmunks..it was perfect and just minutes from down town. We highly recommend Little Bear for your next vacation in Maggie Valley

My family and I enjoyed our vacation and the highlight was coming home each day to such a beautiful and clean cabin in the mountains. The host was attentive although we needed for absolutely nothing. We can't wait to come back again!

We drove up from FL to meet our boys in college for Easter. We all had a great time playing pool and poker in the game room. Did some fishing in the area and used the well stocked kitchen to cook Easter dinner. Had everything we needed. Highly recommended

Everything was AMAZING! Everything in the house is brand new, and so much detail went into it (it definitely shows). Cannot wait to go back!

We stayed at the Little Bear cabin in January during the winter storm. Our flights got canceled and all street traffic came to a standstill for 3 days. The cabin had all the amenities to keep us entertained. The indoor fireplace, plenty of games / game room, high speed internet with movie channels, and the outdoor fire pit. We arranged to have wood delivered prior to our stay and we are glad we did. Even though we couldn’t drive for 3 days, Soco road( the main road in Maggie Valley) is only a half a mile walk, so we were able to get groceries at the local Dollar General and Gas Station. Great stay. Will definitely book again.
