Had a great time with the family at the Canal house. Fishing and kayaking was great. Hosts were super responsive to broken TV and replaced it that day. Fenced in yard was an extra benefit for the furry family members.

House needs a few maintenance items taken care of but overall was a spacious home and the deck was perfect for fishing from. A little pricey but enjoyable.

We arrived right before a tropical storm was predicted to cause high winds and flooding. We had everything we needed to hunker down for a few days. This home was an awesome place to be stranded in. The owners checked on us and neighbors checked on each other. Some with high vehicles offered to make store runs. We saw kayakers, fished in the rain and really enjoyed our family time. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations to wait out a storm. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a quiet, easy, relaxing getaway. The house was welcoming and clean with plenty of amenities for us to enjoy some time away from home! And it was well suited for our furry family member, too!

The house was great for our family of 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years! They loved fishing off the deck and the yard being totally fenced in was great for our fur babies. I would recommend this hour and look forward to staying here again.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Docking the boat at the house made easy access to the bay for fishing and sunset cruises. Whether laying in the hammock reading a good book, grilling trout and redfish caught that day in the bay, crabbing or a quick trip to The Strand, this was a great, low-key get away. The amenities that come with the house are an added bonus - kayaks, bicycles, crab traps, and more. The house was comfortable and inviting. The sitting areas outside were very relaxing and peaceful, both upstairs and under the house. Jom and Monica were very attentive and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a phenomenal place to stay. My husband and I loved the seclusion of Jamaica Beach. Its away from all the tourists, but still close to the beach. The patio was perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. Jom and Monica were excellent. Their communication was on point. We are looking forward to bringing our children to this quaint oasis.

The house is very comfortable and well appointed, perfect size for our family of 4 but it could definitely hold a couple more, no problem. Loved the decks, the wide canal with fishing lights, downstairs patio with fenced in yard, and a garage full of toys. We loved having the bikes available, our girls especially loved the tandem. The house is a gem, Jom and Monica were great as well, very responsive and easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

The Reel Palms house, on a canal, was spacious, beautifully put together and, most importantly (and unexpected) SAFE for our infants and toddlers.
I've never seen a house on the canal where the entire downstairs yard and entertainment area was fenced in. That made it possible for our little ones to play freely and for us to relax and not worry about them falling into the water or wandering out into the street. AMAZING!!!

Our stay way amazing. We fished off the deck and utilized the kayaks. We caught quite a few fish and loved the lower deck that we always was able to catch the breeze in. Loved it!

Nice size canal house - well equipped with everything you could need. Crab traps were a bonus! Caught nice trout and a huge drum in the canal! Mere moments from the shrimp and stuff trailer - yummy! Kayaks were super fun too! Dogs loved barking at the boats. Can’t wait to come back!!

This is the nicest house we have rented. Our special needs grandson loves it there (feels like home to him). We have stayed five times already!! The best part is it has a fence around the whole back yard keeping him safe from the water. The fishing is pretty good too! Thanks

Just as described! We had a great experience with this rental. Communication with the host was great and everything we needed to know was outlined. We loved being on a canal and being able to sit out on the deck in the morning enjoying coffee or at night with a cocktail. A short drive to almost everything!

Gorgeous house with everything you would ever need! I loved that the canal had a low, very pretty fence. Wonderful for the doggies, and would be perfect for toddler age kids!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very nice and we liked the location. I have always enjoyed Jamaica Beach area. The canal in the backyard provided much entertainment with fishing and swimming and it’s just a short drive to the beach.

This was a great place to stay at. Right on the canal, perfect for kayaking and storing our boat, and super close to the beach. The main picture doesn’t show this but there’s actually a fence between the grass and water which was great as we had a 4 and 6 year old with us. Made it that much better for us to relax. They have all you need there!
