We had an amazing time at this cabin. The sunsets are very pretty and it was quiet most of the time. We stayed six nights and we are likely to return again.
The hosts are amazing. They live next door and when the was a threat of severe weather, they let us put our car in their garage. We appreciated that.

Cozy cute cabin right by the lake. We enjoyed fishing and UTVing on Tuscobia Trail during our stay. Highly recommend this rental. We would love to come back.

Our second time staying at the Musky Shack was just as great as the first. Fishing was excellent, and the cabin is nice and secluded on the bay. It's just a short drive to town and took our little girl to the Wilderness Zoo and Lumberjack Show. Looking forward to staying again.

The property has all the amenities you need to be self-sufficient . The lake view was very relaxing and the sunsets were fantastic . The owners were very friendly and helpful with local information and recommendations. We would definitely stay at the Musky Shack again. Kill

Great place! Very clean. Nice little shack on the water with a fire pit. Owners live next door and are very helpful with anything you need. Excellent fishing right from the dock. I cought many bass and pike. We brought our boat and most of the bay is pretty shallow 3-5 ft, but manageable

Charming, very clean, well maintained cabin in peaceful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this cabin with back deck and dock for viewing lake sunsets and night star gazing. Also wonderful area for walks and bike rides around the peninsula the cabin is located on!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Musky Shack. It's a very nice little cabin on a perfect spot on the shores of LCO with beautiful views of sunset over the lake. Has all the amenities you could need for a northwoods vacation.

This was the perfect spot for a mother(94yo)/daughter(67 yo) get away. We had many places to visit while here and it was nice to come back to a peaceful, quiet spot at the end of a busy day. We enjoyed the sunset, quiet, occasional call of the loon, and the morning mist rising off the lake.

The cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay! The dock for our boat was so convenient and we had a blast fishing! The property was so quiet and exactly what we needed to reboot.

It was my fault that I did not realize that there was no air conditioning. It topped out at 86 degrees inside the cabin but thankfully it was only that hot for 2 days of our stay. Fishing was good off the dock for Largemouth Bass & Sunfish. If I owned the property I would install blinds on the patio doors, install a larger TV and a window air conditioner. Very quiet and relaxing location!

This place is awesome! The privacy was great, the size of the cabin was good for us and was very clean. The fishing was good so long as you have baits that can get through weeds. It was very enjoyable and relaxing with only the sounds of the water lapping and critters going about their day. Loved taking the rowboat out on the water and sitting on the dock too. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stayed at this property to enjoy the lake, fishing, and exploring. The cabin was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and access to the lake. The owners live Next door and we’re very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time biking roads, kayaking and watching movies. Quiet and pleasant. David was available next door for any needs. Clean cabin and comfortable space. There is a dock, but water front access for kayaks was a little tricky due to high dock and shoreline protected. Musky Bay is pretty, and preserved on one side as it is low lands/ wetlands. This means a lot of weeds in the waterfronts - not swimmable for instance. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Five-star lake cabin
This cabin is a true gem!! David and Kathy are phenomenal hosts! We had such a fun time and were blown away by: the location, the view, the cabin/amenities (fire pit! dock/excellent fishing! Canoe! Grills!), comfy bed/ linens, cozy decor, fully stocked kitchen…even fresh flowers!!Beautiful inside and out. And such thoughtful, generous hosts. 5-stars! and we hope to go back!!

Musky shack
We had a wonderful experience here! We stayed for a mini getaway for our 1 year wedding anniversary! We brought our own kayaks and had great luck catching large mouth bass off the dock and in the kayaks! Highly recommend, and we will probably be coming back next year!

Great place on LCO! Cabin was very clean and in a great quiet location on the lake. Plenty of room for a boat, always a must if you’re a fisherman like. Even some bass fishing right off the dock. Overall great stay, hope to come back in the future. Thanks!!
