The bathroom fan comes on when the light is turned on. I would prefer that they be switched separately so that it wasn't so noisy.

location was great at center of Sorento , easy access to port , beach , although for both and beach there are more than 200 stairs go up and down from stairs .close to city center

rooftop is very comfortable to relax but pool is very small. just enough to cool off and get out.

The location was central & close to shops & restaurants. The small pool on the roof was a bonus in the hot weather. The staff were extremely nice & friendly. We also had a little back porch which was private & nice. All in all the palazzo had everything one would need even a living room in case you wanted to meet anyone. We had a pleasant stay & would definitely go back next time we’re in Sorrento.

The air conditioning system was old & made sone noise.

The bartender Giuseppe was amazing and so kind and looked after us very well! all the staff was very helpful. the location was excellent and the room was clean. the bathroom was a bit outdated but ok.

The historic quality of the building was followed through in the furnishings, and while the amenities were modern it felt like stepping back in time to old Italy. Wonderful!

The room wasn't what we expected, street facing and smaller then what we booked. A little noisey due to being a street facing room.

Very poor breakfast. But Salvador from restaurant compensate it with this nice attitude. What can’t be said about the rest staff, specially the guy on the roof by pool. He was mean to kids, never smile & don’t speak English

The reception staff were very accommodating and helped to organise a car to the airport at the very last minute. We thought we would just grab a taxi but balked at the €150 quoted by the driver. The hotel went out of their way to telephone a number of contacts to accommodate us at the last minute. The roof top bar is lovely and I highly recommend the club sandwich there, which was delicious! An elegant hotel in a very convenient location with lovely staff.

All around great place to stay when visiting Sorento. The quality staff really put this hotel over the top. Antonio on the rooftop terrace, Jacomo at the front desk, and Salvatore in the kitchen... all very personable and classy.

The hotel was in a great location, although a bit hard to find initially. The entrance is on a small alley with only pedestrian traffic, so you need to haul your luggage up the block to check in. The breakfast was adequate, with typical European meats and cheeses, fruit, and breads, etc. The staff will gladly bring unlimited cappuccinos to the table, and also cook eggs for you upon request. The rooftop bar had wonderful views and even better limoncello spritz served by the most wonderful bartender! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sorrento and would highly recommend the Palazzo Guardati.

Although we were hardly in the room long enough to watch television or play a music, we never could get the cable channels to work, even with the assistance of the front desk personnel.
