The location is amazing, conveniently centered in the Port area.

Although the location is perfect for getting around by foot, that also comes with the noise of being in Port. We could clearly hear people, dogs, cars, etc. The breakfast at this property is just "ok." The ladies in the adjoining cafe only helped us when we were with our Spanish speaking friend, otherwise we were ignored and did not go back.

Unfortunately, NOT the hotels fault but I struggled to get to the hotel , I have walking issues and there are road works so this made it more difficult for parking and access.

Everything was done for the tourist, is an excellent place for family, and special for solo travellers, whose always look for company, the people show the happy their were in this place, like a family , beautiful stay, this place have excellent points in to make happy the tourist, I love it.

This was the perfect spot to stay for a couple of nights whilst waiting to go into my holiday accommodation. The staff were helpful, the room was adequate, the WiFi average, the rooftop swimming pool small but an excellent alternative to the packed crowds on the beaches. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, annoying holidaymakers nearby. Just wish you would put some conditioner in when you wash your towels!

Parking in the area is a nightmare but I was not willing to pay their exorbitant charges. Luckily, I found a free space on-street about 500 metres away. The whole area around the hotel is extremely noisy, dusty and inconvenient due to the apparently never-ending pedestrianisation project. No soap in the bathroom dispenser for 2 days.

Good position in town and near to beach.swiming pool small but ok with plenty of seats to relax.

Unless you arrived fairly early for dinner most dishes had been decimated and involved a wait for replacement.

Shower and family room size was fine, breakfast was surprisingly ok. Hotel location is good to reach all convienent places. Children still liked the small pool in the morning. Staff was pretty friendly and helpfull.

Swimming pool is not family friendly, grumpy people want to sunbathe in silence also i feel the the deck should be better maintained. A drying rack would have been great. The dinner buffet was not worth it, and somehow it angered a older employee when we were not directly interested in drinks. Better spend it outside for better view and food. Wifi and phone reception was bad in my room and did not work properly.

Really liked the rooftop swimming pool, friendly staff and fabulous location. Room and bathroom clean.

Amazing food, great location, great value for money. Everybody was nice and friendly, very helpful stuff. I don't agree that hotel is "too simple" or "too old", it has everything that is necessary for the comfort stay and overall service is just great. The location is fantastic, in the center of the city but very quiet, beach is very close and easy to get to. Absence of animation is a great plus for me too because it meant that the hotel was quiet. Air conditioning is a big plus and works just perfectly. And I would like to stress once again - AMAZING food, I was in the hotel for 4 weeks in total and each day the food was different, dinners included seafood and healthy vegan alternatives like quinoa mini salads. The poster in the restaurant even claims that the food is from local suppliers, and everything was nicely cooked.

I did not like the fact that safe is paid and it was not announced in advance. I assumed it was already in the price of the room. At the end of the stay I also found out that my room is separated from the other just with the simple door in the wall which can be simply open by the turn of the locker. To be honest it does not look very safe and freaked me out a little. I think that the other person even opened it up accidentally a little and I guess it made us both feel a little uncomfortable.

The food was excellent so was the air con. Florin was amazing so was the young lady in the restaurant, she was always smiling and asks if we need anything.

Children not really catered for in the food, mostly chips!! One day we had chicken nuggets, but that was it. Staff on reception not helpful and always seemed grumpy and as if we were an inconvenience being there.

In general good meals, still food quality failed to be consistent - some realy delicious, others - below average.

Definitely did not meet the expectations of 4*. Though generally being OK, the feeling was of past century glory not living up to time. Got to go to reception 2 times on the first day un 3 on the second - access cards failed to open the door as expected.

The staff were v nice and good to my daughter. The shower was amazing.

The pool was tiny, the pictures were v deceiving. It was shabby looking and disjointed. The room was tiny, and dark. old decor. Facing onto a street, allowing no light in. An old hotel, in need of some re vamping. the price was the same as a much brighter, larger hotel we had previously stayed in, with a much bigger pool. with a much nicer breakfast. so robbery for what it is.

The water connections that are behind the shower tiles for shower in my room (204) were the wrong way round - push the shower lever to red and cold water comes out, push it to blue and the hot water comes. There should be a sign to tell guests that the water is wrong way round.

arrogant manageress. having to pay for onsite parking,(after travelling all over spain portugal this was the first time I had to pay for parking. had I known I would have booked else where. Also there was no forewarning about the massive road works in and around the hotel which meant I had to park 3-4 hundred meters away from the hotel and then walk in heavy motor cycle riding gear in very hot conditions to the reception to book in before I could get access to the garage(after first having to pay upfront for the privilege. and then having to negotiate the road works to the car park entrance, which in itself was a bit of a nightmare, Again had I known of these issues I may have looked for a hotel elsewhere. I would like to repeat that the young reception staff were excellent and also had it not been for the road works (which were out of the hotels hands) my stay would have been more pleasurable

The pool was a bit of a let down, the pictures definitely make you think it’s bigger, it’s really not big enough any more than five people and it would be a squeeze

The location is perfect for the bars and restaurants of Cambrils and a short walk to the beach. The pool area was nice with a view of the sea too!

We had 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double when we requested a double at time of booking so it wasn’t the most comfortable sleep, There was also a light switch by the pillows which kept turning the light on everytime we moved when sleeping in the end I had to remove the bulbs to stop it!
