Superb hotel - gorgeous location. Food was excellent. Rooms are not huge but very comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Parking may be an issue when the village is busy. Hotel does not have dedicated spaces.

Our first night's stay was perfect. Tentative staff in the restaurant with, excellent service and meal quality, however the second night was a total contrast. There appeared to be just one waitress and she was so rushed the service was dire, despite ordering the same as yesterdays meal as it was so good it was nothing like the quality of the previous day and we waited and waited to order more drinks and desert but were simply ignored, then when it came to paying the bill was a total mess and not a hint of an apology for the poor evening. I even showed photos of the meals from yesterday compared with today and still not a hint of apology or the offer of a drink to compensate. For me it ruined what would have been an exceptional score. Please sort out your staff management, quality control and billing system!!

Superb view on the water! Very nice breakfast with a good choice! Splendid christmas decorations, very warm interior Friendly staff, all is done with a smile! small but nice bedrooms.

we were sad that there was no dinner facility. At 17.00 we were stuck in our room with no dinner. If you close the reception, bar and restaurant, just close the hotel! We were not happy that we weren't warned that everything was closed. Off season there is no restaurant open in at least 25 km around! The bathroom is a bit old, when you take a shower, the glass protection is small and you have a complete wet bathroom if you are not very careful

Location is amazing and scenery beautiful. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our family including young child and dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Only criticism is that the rooms on the ground floor closest to the restaurant where we stayed are very overlooked, especially when curious diners come across and look through windows, a sign to deter non residents would help I think.

Breakfast was sufficient, could have been a better variety of teas. We had a room with a marvelous view over the water.

Unique location, excellent breakfast & very good food quality.

A very unique hotel worth visiting just because of the location itself. Sitting by the water with the spa boat beside, it offers amazing views, colours, sunset and sunrises. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was expensive but delicious.

Small rooms and with very little in regards to noise reduction (we could hear the next room neighbour snoring overnight). 2 Single beds (put together to form a double bed) was not ideal for us travelling as a couple.

The location was great, onto the ocean with only 10 minutes away a rental place of kayaks to enjoy even more of the surroundings.

The view from the hotel rooms... yes water with a concrete bridge on the right, an apartment complex right ahead and the port on the left. The view from the bar deck was value for money with the sunset. But the bar staff was not trained or did not care. We got sat at a table and forgotten, we had to go ourselves to the bar to order and bring drinks to table outside. After drinks, we decided to go in for the restaurant where we had previously booked a table (about 3 weeks prior to the visit), again the staff took 10 good minutes so sit us down, and a table with no view (although requested during booking of 3 weeks prior). A table with several people sitting not far from us got all the attention of all the staff. We could not figure out who was the VIP of that table but the rest of the restaurant definitely suffered from this. It took 3 waiters to be able to answer what type of fish was served as a starter. And a total of almost 2h, where we went hungry, to be served 1 starter and 2 main courses. We gave up on trying dessert by then. But to finish off when we asked for coffee (espresso) we were informed that they did not have any capsules left. 1st point - capsules... not a real machine, at that price per night and dinner... 2nd point - the next day at 9am, still no capsules, only filter coffee. I rarely leave a bad review but I do feel this was necessary. This hotel promises a lot from the website and we paid the price but the delivery of the service was BAD. It was our extravagant night and dinner of our holiday and we regret to have put our money there. We did mention our disappointment the next day at check-out about the dinner experience, but the person at the counter seemed not trained (again) and left us with no answer.
