We celebrated three milestone birthdays with our family (70, 60, and 50 yr old birthdays) with spouses. 6 adults in one facility can sometimes be too much over 4-5 days, but Port Haven was perfect for us all. Three bathrooms, and three very different style bedrooms( plus a fourth for the little ones had we brought any) kept everyone happy! Great pool table and dart board game room with a big TV for the Packer game, a super comfortable living room with fireplace, a huge kitchen and dining area for food and games, and a fantastic view of Washington Island and the ferry activity. Even a fire pit and deck outside facing the water- loved the list of items to bring and what NOT to bring was very helpful, along with places to visit, etc. Well done DC Cabins LLC- we will be back again!!! What a great experience!!!

Our fourth time with Door County Collective and third time at Port Haven. A beautiful wooded and serene location makes us feel like we’re all alone at the top of the Door. Can’t get any closer to the water and the most outstanding view of the islands across Death’s Door. Watching the waves and the car ferry come and go is so relaxing. We appreciate their hardworking attention to detail. Our “home away from home” is spacious and clean, the kitchen/dining area is awesome and a great gathering place. Huge windows! The master bedroom has great views and its own balcony. We’re already scheduled for our next trip!

What a wonderful trip! The house is amazing and immaculate. We experienced colorful trees and star-filled skies. It truly was a getaway!

A beautiful home with great amenities and the view was absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed listening to the waves crash into the rocks, and the sky was awe inspiring with the Milky Way directly above the house. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return trip.

Fantastic communication from the very beginning. I had high expectations prior to our trip and was not disappointed. We loved the amenities and thought the location on the water was perfect! We could see Washington Island, Plum Island, and Pilot Island while inside or outside, what a view!

The views at Porte Haven really are hard to beat! The kitchen and patio view was where we loved spending most of our time. Hosts were very kind and had great communication with us during our stay.

The property was incredible, perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. We had a blast playing darts and pool with the kids and nestled up to a fire during a snowstorm. House has everything. Hosts were incredibly responsive and had great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Look forward to our return.

This is a beautiful property with beautiful amenities. The location is amazing! It was the perfect location to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday! The owners were friendly and helpful :) I recommend renting this property and we will be renting again!

We had an outstanding weekend at Porte Haven the cabin was clean comfortable with a great game room and above all, incredible lake views the sunrises from the upstairs master were incredible and the hot steam room and whirlpool are great too. We enjoy a night walk at the Newport state park on saw the moon rise over the lake on their dark sky area, enjoyed cider flights , Swedish pancakes and painting the Anderson dock . Jeremy was very responsive and attentive and made us feel welcomed. Will be back for summer family time for sure

Porte Haven was an amazing place to stay. The master bedroom upstairs offers amazing views of the water and not to distant islands. And the kitchen and living room were great places to relax and make an amazing dinner on the premium Viking appliances. The basement offered a great place to hang with friends and play some games.

This was our first time in Door County. Took our adult children for their present this year. The house was amazing, clean and fun!!! Pool table, darts and game table. You cannot beat the views of the water…we saw an Eagle fly by each day. We just had a wonderful time and fantastic restaurants right there. CHOP and Wickman House so awesome. Thank you!

Stunning views, gorgeous and well-maintained property, and superb customer service the entire experience. This is a very unique property that cannot be replicated. Recommend for anyone looking for a trip to remember! Cozy, quaint, clean, comfortable, beautiful... would give it 10 stars if I could. Will be back many times.

We absolutely loved our stay at Porte Haven. It was so hard to decide whether to stay and get cozy at the Cabin or go into town. We did end up going into town but I could have laid and listened to the waves all day long. Plenty of room for everyone and loved being able to bring some groceries for a few meals. Don't wait and book now!

When searching for the perfect place to spend a long weekend in Door County with our family, we knew we didn’t have to look any further than DCC. Our stay at The Bay in October 2021 was so memorable and we were thrilled to see some pretty last minute availability for Porte Haven. The property and home exceeded everyone’s expectations. You truly cannot beat this view. Absolutely stunning from sunrise to sunset. Nearly everything we needed for a cozy winter weekend was already provided. We were able to forget about the daily grind, enjoy some unplugged time, and even got to bring our furry kids (it’s hard to call them dogs). We especially enjoyed our in-house pool tournament and our daughter loved the little hideout underneath the lower level loft. Porte Haven is just a quick drive away some of our favorite stops, including Sister Bay and Bailey’s Harbor. We had so many great memories made and will undoubtedly be booking again with DCC. Thank you for providing another home away from home for our family!

The Porte Haven boat house in DC is amazing. 4 levels, multiple beds and baths, two fire pits, and an outstanding view of Death's Door where the weather is clearly visible. Newport State Park is a few minutes away with great hiking. The owners make it easy to access everything you need and are amazingly available to assist if you need it. Could not be any better!

We stayed at Porte Haven early October for a girls getaway. The property is beautiful. Being right on the water the sunrise is worth getting up early for. We enjoyed spending time by the two fire pits, the all season room, the game room, large kitchen table, and living room fireplace .The owners were very easy to communicate with. I would recommend it and definitely would stay there again. It's secluded but yet close to all that Door County offers.

We were in town for a wedding at the end of September,this property turned it into an amazing getaway! The sights and sounds of the lake are unforgettable! We had a great bonfire one of the nights,we were swimming right in front of the house while waving to the Washington island ferry boat! This is a professionally managed property! All the things needed for fun was on hand! We golfed at the peninsula golf course ,went hiking in the peninsula state park….great dinners at some really nice restaurants…..it really was a trip full of memories! Thanks for sharing your property with us Jeremy and Caitlyn! Door county is full of overwhelming fun!

A beautiful property right on Death's Door. You are greeted with beautiful sunrises, views of the Washington Island ferries coming and going, you get to drive Jens Jensen Road daily, and you are always within 30 minutes of anywhere you want to go in Door County.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 children plus a dog all loved our relaxed time together in this beautiful location.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the spa like bathrooms. The game room area was a big hit with the kiddos. Watched the sunrise each day…. So beautiful!

This weekend getaway exceeded our expectations! Door County was beautiful this time of year, and we felt all the comforts of home away from home. We left to hike but couldn’t wait to return because this house had so much to offer. We will absolutely return again.

We had an incredible weekend getaway in this beautiful home! Breathtaking views and ample outdoor space. Immaculately clean and well-appointed interior with wonderful amenities. Most rooms have a gorgeous view of Death's Door. The beds were comfortable and the showers felt luxurious. The game room in the basement was so fun. We have nothing negative to say and cannot wait to return!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Ellison Bay cabin in Door County! Jeremy & Caitlyn made the experience of renting with them a pleasure from the very beginning. They were so helpful & accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in so we could start cooking our Thanksgiving dinner early. Which was easy to do in the well equipped kitchen! The cabin is just as pictured - clean, cozy & very charming - with great views! We especially loved the wood burning fireplace on chilly fall days. Overall, we were so happy with our stay & can't wait to come back again!

Port Haven is a beautiful house in a beautiful and peaceful location. We stargazed and wished upon shooting stars while listening to the waves every night. The kids had a blast watching the Washington Island Ferry go back and forth and exploring in the yard. Jeremy and Caitlyn were very attentive and available for any questions or information. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot!
