The house is just as advertised. Perfect proximity to the beach. So helpful to have a full array of Beach supplies with the house. The host was a pleasure to communicate with. Five stars, would recommend.

Seriously, there isn't anything bad to share about our stay! The house was wonderful and immaculate, it was sooooooooooo close to beach access, and it was just a very comfortable place for us to stay. Communication with the owner was fantastic from prior to arriving through after our departure. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

This house was perfect for our family. They had beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers an umbrella already there, ready to grab and walk across the street to the beach! Kitchen had everything needed to cook! Decor was beautiful! Everything was very clean. We spent a lot of time out on the front balconies watching the ocean and enjoying the cool breeze! Luke kept in contact with us the whole time making sure everything was great! I would highly recommend staying here! Our family had a wonderful time!

We loved this house for its proximity to the beach, spacious living area, and big porches. We ate most of our meals on the upper porch and enjoyed the rocking chairs and couch for relaxing outdoors. The lower porch was a nice getaway with a hammock. The dining room table was big enough to accommodate our group of ten for meals and games and the well designed and comfortable living area had more seating than most beach houses. The owner was available and responsive to our questions. It was a great beach house for our family.

We had a wonderful stay at Smile and Wave located 2nd row Ocean Isle Beach. Sitting on the front porch looking at the ocean with nice breezes in the evenings was pure bliss. It’s a well appointed home that fit our family of 12. Owners have truly tried to think of anything you would need. It was a true luxury to have all the beds made upon check in. The only issue we had was one morning the upstairs A/C quit working. Owner was contacted and had someone there in less than 2 hours. Owner stayed in contact to make sure everything was taken care of. Beach access very close, just 2 houses away! Would highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

We had a wonderful week in OIB! We were so pleased with the house. From the well stocked kitchen to the rocking chairs on the porch to the beach access across the street…it was perfect! Luke is super about communicating during the week. We are ready to book next summer!

Plenty of room for our group of 11. The upper deck had great views of the ocean - close enough to hear the waves crashing while not being directly on the oceanfront. Beds were extremely comfortable although the twin mattress on the top bunk was rated poorly by my 22 year old niece…😬 Well stocked kitchen, great water pressure in the showers, and plenty of beach chairs for us to use at the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

The beach house was perfect for our family of eleven. Very tastefully decorated with a spacious family room that included a lot of seating. The front porch with a view of the ocean was a wonderful hang out for us in the mornings and evenings with the four rocking chairs and sofa as there was a nice breeze the whole week we were there. It’s a very short walk to the beach where our family enjoying hanging out all day! Luke was very informative and responsive if I had a question about anything. We fell in love with Ocean Isle and will certainly be back! Thanks for sharing your beach house Luke and Sarah!

Our family had a great time on OIB staying in this well stocked home. The owners were wonderful hosts, checking to see if there was anything we needed midweek. We were steps from the beach access which was perfect for our group who could easily come and go. Well stocked, fresh and clean. Reccommend!

Our family loved this beach home. Luke and Sarah were exceptional hosts who made themselves available and took quick action to address all our needs. Prior to check in Luke sent me a very detailed email with all the homes info and additional info about OIB. The home was updated and decorated very tastefully. We spent so much time on the Upper Deck listening to the ocean and enjoying the view. The beach access was so close and convenient. We loved everything about this house. You won’t be disappointed if you book this home for your next beach get away.

Very kid friendly, with plenty of room to have a big family dinner in, around the dinning table, or a fun night full of games after your full day at the beach! Can’t beat rocking on their front porch with the beautiful ocean view! We’d love to return in the future!

We had a wonderful week at OIB and were so grateful to find this house for our extended family of 14. It was spotless and just steps away from the public access to the beach. The Johnsons were great and stayed in touch prior to and during our visit. We would highly recommend this property.

Luke, What a wonderful stay we had in this home! With a group of 6 adults and 6 kids, it had room for everyone. The kitchen was stocked well with all the utensils and appliances needed, including a griddle for our morning pancakes. There was no lack of dining space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a view of the ocean every morning while having coffee was a pleasant plus. The beach access could not have been better with only a short 2 minute walk. The beach in this area of the island is perfect and never crowded which was a pleasant surprise. Our time to leave came too quickly but it was unanimously agreed we would love to return to this home whenever we get that chance. Five Stars!

This is such a great house for our family size and age groups: 6 year old twin boys + parents, 14 year old granddaughter + parents, and grandparents. Location is a really short walk to the beach (Leland) and that made for easy walks carrying buckets & tools for sandcastles and sea turtle sculptures that our kids build. The kitchen is well outfitted with everything needed to prepare meals. Because we are a dine-in family when we vacation with children, this is important. And the dining area is perfect seating for our meals. Plus the picnic-type table on the porch for breakfast and dinner gets lots of use if weather permits. In fact, the porch, with it's size and generous seating is the place we love for many hours of reading and/or just quiet time. The living area adjoining the dining and kitchen is large enough to accommodate our twin's and teenager's early morning and late afternoon Lego building and games. The large screen TV in LR is a plus for our sports fans. Thank you Sarah and Luke for being super communicative and welcoming. Your home is a treasure. One week is not enough! The beach house was incredible, and Luke was an amazing host. Luke made sure that everything you could think of was set up perfectly for our arrival. The inside of the house was spotless when we arrived, there were towels placed out for us in each bedroom, and Luke even left a snack basket out for us. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms to fit our larger group, and the kitchen and grill they have accommodated all of our cooking needs when we didn't go out to eat. The house is right next to the public access entrance to the beach, there were plenty of beach chairs in the storage room for all of us, and there is also an outdoor shower at the house (with warm water), so you don't have to worry about tracking sand inside. The house was as perfect as it could be, and you couldn't ask for a more hospitable host in Luke!

We had such a great time staying here. It was a beautiful and spacious home right across from access to the beach. The 5 bedrooms and numerous bathroom made such a huge difference when everyone was getting ready or just needed some space. The host was very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend and absolutely stay again!
