Great location, clean nice house, and great communication with owner!

Everything as advertised. We were very happy with our stay. Communication with owner was very easy. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed staying here for my daughter’s graduation from Emory. The way this home is laid out, feels spacious and very accommodating to a large group. The host kept in close communication and the property is super cute and ideally located. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

This VRBO was was at we needed for our family’s stay for our family person’s memorial service and visit with another family member.

This private home was large enough for two couples and a toddler. Great space to come back to at the end of the day. The furnishings were very comfortable and well portioned. Please take note that the en-suite bathroom has a compact sink that makes washing your face or brushing your teeth a bit challenging. Not at all a problem, but important to know. If cooking meals in the kitchen is on your agenda, be aware that there are limited utensils but enough to get by. Knives need sharpening and a few more bowls, pots and pans would be useful. Overall the stay was comfortable and in a great location (be aware it's on a highly trafficked street).

The property was nice for our short weekend stay. We were out and about most of the weekend so primarily were just sleeping and getting ready there but it was a cute home. It is on a slightly noisy street and there's a narrow driveway but not hard to navigate. Overall, would stay there again.

Clean and pet friendly! It was so nice to be able to spend time with our family including our fur babies. The house is in a location that is close to shops, activities, and all the sights. We also appreciated the great communication with the property owner.

It's a perfect little house, in a nice neighborhood for a weekend with your friends.

This house was perfect for my business trip to Atlanta and I wished my family was able to join me because it would have been plenty big for all of us, including our dog. It has a big fenced in back yard -- three bedrooms (including full-size bunk beds) and two full sized bathrooms. The kitchen is small but functional with nice appliances and I appreciated the open concept dining room and living room. If and when I return to ATL - this will be my first look on VRBO. Affordably priced, especially for the location! It's on a busy road, but the neighbors never minded when I turned around on their half of the shared driveway because I did not feel comfortable backing out onto the street. Jay was communicative and quick to respond to my questions. Enjoy this place ... it's a gem!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It allowed us to spend time with our family who live in the area while also having a second home during our visit. Wonderful communication with the owner and conveniently located to grocery stores and local attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the home for family weekend at Emory University. It is very close to campus, but the shared driveway is off a very busy road. The driveway is narrow and the retaining wall on the VRBO property is giving way making parking on their side of the driveway a real challenge. The house is clean, sparsely furnished but tidy and was the space we needed for the weekend, but in the home there were onlly 2 rolls of toilet paper (for 2 bathrooms), one small roll of paper towels, no dish towels and no trash bags. It seems a small price to pay to provide the guests with at least a 4 pack roll of TP, an extra roll of paper towels and have the Decatur required trash bags in the home. I bought a roll at Publix they cost $3.59. The kitchen should have a dish towel as there is no dishwasher We recently stayed at a VRBO in Denver with the exact opposite vibe with so many "extras," so it was a bit jarring to literally have nothing provided. The homeowners should recognize that guests coming in for the weekend, don't want to run out of toilet paper. There is absolutely no outdoor space that is usable as there is no outdoor furniture, which is a shame given the good weather in Atlanta. The home owners were very responsive and seemed nice when we had a TV issue. So, it is difficult for me to reconcile that experience with their standard welcome communication which comes off as a little aggressive -the rules of the house are stated, restated and stated AGAIN. I had communicated we were a family unit coming to visit our college age son, but I was told numerous times no parties, no this & no that - it was A LOT - I understand if you have been burned, but you may want to create two welcome kits as the homeowner vetted me prior to confirming the reservation. Lastly, I communicated to the owner that my parents were going to join us as a courtesy to advise that we would have two vehicles, not one in the shared driveway and I was promptly charged for extra persons. I read and reread the listing and there was NO mention of additional fee, just that the home could accommodate 9, but I paid the additional fee per person per night. I guess what I am trying to say is I absolutely hate to give a negative review, but we won't book this VRBO again. It was not the positive experience we have had at other properties.

The house was clean and convenient to everything. Jay was very responsive to questions.

Pros: The property was clean, beds were comfortable and the house had the basics for a nice vacation with family. Cons: The house is on a busy street, so we heard traffic noise during our stay. I would suggest providing a trash bag per day of stay, and adding a blender and oven mitts for the kitchen. Overall very good stay.

We were truly looking forward to our stay -- the property is in a great location, the hosts are more than gracious and responsive, but unfortunately, one of us got exposed to COVID, and we needed to quarantine. So no first-hand knowledge of what looks to be a great space!

Convenient location; new interiors and spacious rooms. Large pretty yard. The house has an attractive decor and is well equipped. It is obvious that the owners care about the property and want to assure that their guests have a nice experience. The owner is responsive, professional and polite. I would definitely rent this property again--many shops, Publix and restaurants nearby; convenient to downtown Decatur, Emory and GA Tech, Ponce City Market.

Great location, excellent hosts.

I decided to do a surprise party for my wife and have friends. The owners were courteous and very professional. They made sure we were accommodated and were available if we needed them.

We were passing through town for a few days with our small children. Our kids loved the bunk beds and we appreciated the kid-friendly features. The hosts were responsive, organized and helpful!

We were in town for a friends wedding. The house was lovely. It was perfect for our group- plenty of beds and space in the common areas, and we really enjoyed the Decatur area. The host was very quick to answer questions, and also checked in with us to make sure everything was as expected.

Very nice house in a great location. Owner was quick to respond to a check-in problem and very easy to work with. 5 stars
