Chambres bruyantes. Nous avions réservés pour un dortoir de femmes, mais nous avons été mis dans un dortoir mixte. Concernant le prix, nous avons payés 275Q alors que 225 était indiqués sur Booking.

The staff was nice and friendly, and the bed was quite comfortable!

I didn't find the place to be very clean (both bathroom and bedding). Loud music was also on for most of the day and staff were really loud early morning just outside of the bedrooms

Nice hostel. The pictures make the hostel look newer than it is. I feel like it was a little expensive for what you get. However, the Argentine Alfajores at the reception desk were AMAZING.

Just one female toilet and shower for the whole backyard rooms It is not possible to cook in the kitchen. Just putting stuff in the fridge but you get already an angry view when you want to enter the kitchen No room/space for lying/sunbathing/yoga on the rooftop because the rooftop is uneven Room really dark and seemed like prison Cleaner entered girls dorm without knocking and I was changing. He did not even apologize. When people lying in the hammock yiu cannot really pass as the tables are so wide.

Nice quiet location, with a lovely terrace to relax on. The room was clean and comfortable and was a lot more spacious than some other dorms I’ve experienced. friendly and helpful staff!

the WiFi wasn’t too great in the dorm room, but was fine in the common areas. the lockers don’t really accommodate smaller locks so it was a bit tricky to secure my belongings in there.

Good location, nice staff, amazing terrace, beautiful place! Book the acatenango hike with a different company though :)

Really liked that place. Relaxed and calm. Short walking distance to everything. Nice terrace with a view of fuego.

You may use the kitchen, but it’s not really a community kitchen.

- free filtered water - nice view - location - the staff is helpful

- the luggage locker was not safe at all because you could open it without the key of the padlock (see picture). And you cannot use your own padlock because the locker is too wide. - you are not allowed to use the kitchen. - the wifi is not good enough to work on your computer. - no keys for the dorms

There is a lot of space in the private room and the hostel is at a good location.

The bed and sheets are not very comfortable and the towels were really old and looked dirty.

It's my personal sensitivity but to go to the bathroom you have to cross outside, it's mainly why I left haha wasn't ready for antigua cold at night and I need to go to bathroom 2-3 times a night. It's the main reason I haven't extended my stay Hot water not so hot, better take your shower in day light ! Trivial but still, doors need oil it's creaking ><

There was a problem with my booking apparently it was already full when I booked my 2. nights so they found another hostel for me (cataleya hostel) and offered me breakfast at the tzunun as a compensation. To be honest I thought it was a scam because the other hostel was pretty bad, the bedroom smelled like mold, there was no window except one that was broken and was facing the bar so you could hear the customers as if you were in the same room… also that hostel seemed much cheaper than what I paid at the tzunun, but it didn’t seem to be really working well (very few clients) so Im thinking maybe it’s a way for them to get more customer… I don’t know but in case it happens to you just ask for a refund and find yourself another hostel ! Except that part the workers seem very nice over there at the tzunun

Roof top terrace and garden area with hammocks were nice. Central location and close to everything. Clean rooms and tidy grounds. Airport shuttle was pleasant and efficient.

Challenges checking in with the night staff, they wanted us to leave a passport until the morning. Only after a phone call with management were we given an option to pay in full. Also, tried to over charge us for the previously agreed upon price for the airport shuttle. Staff at the front desk were not very knowledgable about the area. No towels provided unless you physically leave a piece of ID or credit card (no option for cash deposit). Also, no daily cleaning as advertised. We didn't need daily cleanings but the bathroom garbage being emptied would have been nice.
