Upon arriving you will be blown away by the views. Our group consisted of three generations which included a one-year old. The house was well-outfitted and safe. Loved the laundry out back and shed with beach chairs and tons of snorkel gear. Owner super responsive and helpful- especially in getting the tv up and running for the Superbowl!

We had such a lovely week. The view from every room plus the balcony…the house had everything we could possibly need. We cooked nearly every meal and have no complaints about the equipment including grill, knives, even a steamer for our veggies. House had all the beach equipment including snorkel gear. The market at the bottom of the hill had better, fresher groceries than anywhere else on the island. Couch was comfortable for our nightly family movie- that is also rare in VRBO stays. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. I did yoga every morning on the deck. Communication with hosts and management was perfect. Would recommend this amazing house to everyone. (Maybe not small children as the pool is open and the loft is up a steep ladder) But perfect for our family. Hope to return!

Reasonable rates for a beautiful place on top of the quiet side of the island. The truck rental was a great value add, especially with the airport pickup/dropoff. Jeff (the host) was super responsive to any and all questions we had, including some great recommendations on restaurants and charters. Still one of my favorite places to visit and I'm sure we'll be back!

Great stay at Casa YaYa with our family of 5 (children; 12, 10, 6). St John is a fantastic island to explore new beaches daily. PROS: -Breathtaking views. Spectatular sun rises and shade in the afternoon. Nice pool, new outdoor furniture, great lounge chairs & hammock swings. Cool telescope! -Comfortable beds & pillows. Clean, tons of hooks for towels. AC sleeping was great, cooled fast, so you can leave off otherwise. -Fully stocked kitchen. Every spice you could want. Don't shop first or you may be buying duplicates. -House had extra sunscreen, bug spray, defogger, lotion, shampoo, books, etc. Take some, leave some. -TONS of brand new puzzles, games, activities. Kids & adults loved this. -Multiple beach chairs, every snorkel size and fit, fins, coolers, etc. If you forget anything, or choose not to bring, you'll still be set. -Nice attention to detail; "Casa Yaya" bags, travel cups, koozies, stocked welcome bar, etc -Great family room set up with sectional couch, tables, and tasteful style (old door for dining table, fun artwork, etc). -Kids loved the open-air truck. Decent gas mileage (1 tank/week and we drove a ton). Great rental price. -Owner kindly adjusted dates due to Hurricane at no cost CONS: -Access is one-lane drive with a steep gated driveway hard to turn around in, but possible! -Upstairs loft not suitable for small children, slightly angled ladder access -Power outages may affect your stay, communicated in advance. This was our first trip to St John and our stay at Casa YaYa made for an amazing time! We loved the VIEWS, location, amenities, cleanliness, landscaping, sunrises that greet you from the bedrooms and porch, relaxing in the pool, outdoor showers and the responsiveness of the owners and staff. Our family of 7 (grandparents, parents and 3 teenagers) stayed for 9 nights. The villa had everything we needed (towels, spices, kitchen well appointed, soaps, paper products, trash bags, coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear, clips to hang wet clothing, games, books). We rented a Jeep elsewhere as well as the Casa YaYa truck for flexibility in traveling all together or splitting up. We spent the majority of the time traveling all together in the truck which made for great adventures for the kids and grandma riding in the open back. Casa YaYa has easy access to groceries, restaurants and beaches and the layout was perfect for our group with the adults on opposite ends and the kids in the loft. We highly recommend Casa YaYa. My family of 4 with two teens stayed at Casa YaYa for 8 nights in early July. The property is wonderful!! A spacious, clean villa, in a quiet location with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plus plenty of beach gear-coolers, chairs, snorkel equipment. The view is better than the pictures, 180 degree plus view of Coral Bay and the BVIs - seen from both bedrooms, kitchen and living space. Patio is huge and the pool was perfect. Always a tropical breeze that carried throughout the home. My daughter loved the loft space. A few restaurants and groceries just down the hill. Quick drive to famous North shore beaches. Communication from Jeff and on island staff was spot-on. Using the properties truck made the transition from St Thomas to St John very easy, no rental car lines or taxi headaches. Lots of cool photos and vids from my kids experiencing the ride in the back - pretty much the whole trip. (Minor suggestions by family members- a few more towels perhaps and another flat screen for evening streaming versus using laptops) As a whole, a great first time Caribbean and St John experience in an awesome villa. This was our second visit to Casa Yaya. The view from the patio (with pool and dining area) is unbeatable. The air conditioning kept the bedrooms nice and cool. Two of the bedrooms are on the main living level of the house. A loft area (accessible by a ladder) is perfect for kids. We love the Coral Bay area of the island. It isn’t crowded, there are restaurants and a few grocery markets, and so many great natural areas.

This is our second time to stay on this property, and we absolutely love it! Jeff and his team did a phenomenal job of communicating and taking care of us. I highly recommend Casa Yaya as a vacation home if you are thinking about traveling to Saint John. He will not find a better place to stay.

From the views to the amenities to the responsiveness of the owners and managers things couldn’t have been better. Location is close to the most beautiful beaches, great restaurants and yet completely peaceful . VIEWS, VIEWS VIEWS

We spent two weeks at this fantastic villa and will book again. The views are more beautiful than pictures here! It was a pleasure working with Jeff and the on-island crew - their communication was perfect! The airconditioning in the bedrooms was great. Also, the angle of the villa is perfect so that the tradewinds cool the house very welll. The villa is nicely set up with two well separated master suites so we had plenty of privacy. We loved the villa. Indeed it is very well stocked. In addition to a well-stocked kitchen, we appreciated all of the pool toys, coolers, snorkel equipment and beach towels. It might be nice to have a couple more bath towels and perhaps some extra soap for each bathroom, but we were there for two weeks and this is very, very minor and we didn't ask for more, we were just fine. We loved the morning sun and appreciated that in the afternoon the pool was not in full sun - especially after a full day at the beach! The pool was plenty warm for us. Jeff also gave us recommendations for jeep rental, grocery provisioning and boat charter (as well as resturants and beaches). All of his recommendations were excellent and really helped make our trip very smooth and relaxed. The road to Villa was fine - steep the first time and fun and easy after that. We thought that the Villa was nicely located to everything we needed and wanted - beaches, resturants, grocery store, ice cream :-) What more can I say other than it was perfect! Thank you!!

This is our second time to Casa Ya Ya and it was just as great as the first time. Loved the pool, View, and Coral Bay. If you are looking for the quieter side of things, this is the place!

This was our 4th trip to St John and our first visit to Casa Yaya. The view is amazing and can't be beat. Incredible sunrises! We traveled with our 4 kids and extended family. Outdoor area was great, and the villa is well-stocked with games, beach equipment, etc. (anything you would need during your stay). We love the Coral Bay side of the island. We find it quieter but still has a lot of great eating options, grocery, and a quick drive to the north shore beaches. Owner and property manager were great with communication before and during our stay. Loved it!

This home has it all. Close to beautiful north shore beaches, Coral Bay restaurants and a very large outdoor space with the most incredible view! We will definitely be back.

Spectacular, and definitely the biggest "pro" of this property. The others are a kitchen that is well equipped and stocked including spices. It was also nice to have a separate beverage fridge. Coolers, chairs, beach towels and lots of snorkel equipment were provided. The property layout was perfect for two couples. The owner was great about communication before and during our stay. Unfortunately, a "con" was the communicaton with property manager on island, making our arrival after a very long day of travel quite stressful. Smaller irritations were a maintenance issue with the grill, and an extremely squeaky bed in the north bedroom. Our biggest issue was the cold pool. We simply were not able to use it as we had hoped and would have to give careful consideration to paying the premium a pool property comes with when we return to St. John. As much as we liked everything else here, we would look for a property where the pool was not on the east (shade in afternoon) side.

We enjoyed staying at Casa Yaya during our week-long vacation to St. John. The house had all the amenities we needed, was in a good location --- and the view was spectacular. Jeff and Maria provided details on everything and anything about the house and nearby attractions. They were very responsive to any questions we had and were proactive about making sure we made the most out of our vacation. What can I say about this property? Views, privacy, clean, comfortable beds, easy to work with owners, it truly has it all! This gem of a house has enough room to spread out and feel like you’re at home. We loved our stay here, and can’t wait to come back!

We loved our time at Casa Yaya. This was our 3rd visit to St John and this has been our favorite place to stay. Every morning we were treated to a sunrise pouring in the large windows. The house was comfortable with AC in bedrooms and main living area had plenty of breeze with large doors and windows. The kitchen and grill were more than sufficient for us as we ate in most evenings. We really had everything we needed. The deck and pool area was a wonderful place to relax as each day faded away. The house is at the top of a steep hill giving the incredible views. Also the Coral Bay side of the island is much quieter and closer to the hidden gem beaches off the beaten path. We had incredible days snorkeling at the south beaches around Lameshur. Maho and Francis are a quick drive away and shouldn't be missed. It was pretty common to have entire beaches to ourselves in the morning. We also hit most of the gorgeous north shore beaches which were uncrowded in late September. Jeff the property owner has been great. He is sincerely interested in guests having the best experience at the property and around the island.

Property was as advertised and very clean. It was exceptionally nice in the evening with the doors opened and letting the breeze come through the house. The property manager also touched base to make sure all needs were met and made several great recommendations for local restaurants.

Casa Yaya The whole Casa Yaya experience was awesome. 9.5 out of 10. This house, patio, pool, and grounds are very clean and well maintained. The house is spacious, has modern amenities, has a GREAT view, 2 nice King sized beds, and a fun loft area for kids. Best of all, are the private patio and pool. The pool itself is a vacation game-changer. The pool is just big enough for lots of kids’ fun and casual grownup relaxing. Having a private pool mere footsteps away from getting out of bed is infinitely more convenient and saves a significant amount of time from a typical pool/resort scenario wherein you have to pack a pool bag, wake up early, walk through hallways, find pool chairs, plan how long to stay, and walk back to a room to shower and change. At Casa Yaya, the whole pool is yours, complete with high quality pool chairs, floats, and incredible views. It makes me question ever going to a resort again. Casa Yaya is in Coral Bay, and is more chill than Cruz Bay. Two grocery stores, a pizza place, a couple nice restaurants, gift and jewelry shop, and a VERY COOL charter boat (Salt Deck) are all within 5 minutes of the house. My only wish is that the trip from Cruz bay with a rental car at night on somewhat adventurous roads on an island I’d never been to before l, was more seamless. Our instruction was to meet someone near the house who would show us the last few minutes of the drive, but our gps took us directly to the house, accidentally bypassing our liaison. It was dark and had to wait for her to find us and open the gate. That being said, only .5 deduction out of 10. Once we got the lay of the land during the daytime, the scenic drives were amazing. We love Casa Yaya, and now that we know how to get there from the dock in Cruz Bay in day or night, we’d love to go back.

The reviews don't lie. Casa YaYa did not disappoint with the pool, the views and thoughtful layout and amenities. We wanted for nothing during our week stay. One of the most special days for me was spent alone in the villa where I spent the entire day on a floatie in the pool with music and drink in hand - while my husband and daughter were on a snorkel tour. Family time is great but so is some 'me' time and this was as good as it gets! Coral Bay and it's views are priceless- get the jeep, stay left and head up and over to paradise! Thanks for having us!

Great property! Fantastic view! Property was ideal for family getaway w/ privacy for adults and great sleeping space for all the kids.

Stayed here with my family, including a 7 year old and 12 year old. They had bug spray, beach chairs, and lots of snorkel and pool stuff to use. The kids loved the pool and the loft area. The view is amazing, and there is also a gas grill on site we could use if we wanted. Water is delivered, so we were encouraged to flush after taking a #2. But with the heat and all, you can imagine how well it went with not flushing after a #1. We were worried about using too much water and I think that stressed us out a little because we didn’t want to use more than normal. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Washer and dryer are on site but again, since we were worried about using too much water, we only washed one load of clothes for the 4 of us. TV had Netflix, good internet to use. The house is beautiful. Water isn’t potable so make sure you grab water bottles before you get on St John.

The house is exactly as described. Loved everything about it. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed plus more. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor showers were great. My favorite part was the view. It just couldn’t have been any better.

The view was perfect. The house was very clean. Everything was there. There was nothing it didn’t have. It was better in person than the pictures. This is the quieter side of the island which we loved. Owners were proactive in communicating. We never needed anything but felt we would get good care if we did. I would definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed staying at Casa YaYa. The view is amazing. Although the bedrooms have ac, we didn’t need it because of all the screened doors and windows. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Casa YaYa for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better place! The second we walked in we knew we made the right decision with the panoramic views of Coral Bay. The pool was perfect to relax in on a hot day. The hosts were very responsive and even met us down in Coral Bay to take us up to the property because it would be very difficult to find on your own. I definitely recommend renting a jeep if you’re staying in St John as the roads are steep. Overall, it was an amazing honeymoon spot and we can’t wait to rent Casa YaYa again once we make our return!

Went in early May. Beautiful views, very quiet, clean house, well equipped. Loved that the beds were both king sized and loved the views out of both bedrooms and living room. The a/c in the bedrooms cooled quickly and beyond sufficiently, and did so quietly, which was important. Snorkel gear and washer and dryer were convenient. No bugs to deal with inside or outside. The outdoor shows were nice, spacious, and had sufficient hot water watch was nice and loved that there were 2 large showers. I was never able to get into the pool in the mornings or evenings because I have a low tolerance for cold water (I would only force myself to get in the ocean to snorkel) but if I had gone swimming in the early to mid afternoon when it was hottest outside I'm sure it would have been fine, but we weren't ever home at that time. But I think most people would not have that issue..my body is just abnormal apparently. Jeff was helpful with reaching out with information and checking in, and reminders about check out. I've stayed in Cruz Bay previously and now Coral Bay, and I appreciate the quietness of Coral Bay. There are many good restaurants around in Coral Bay, so there was never really a need for us to go to Cruz Bay, but we did go in 2 nights for dinner. House was clean, sheets and towels were clean.. Which is always super important. I plan to come back and stay again! I had some trouble recognizing the property the first night when we drove back to it after dinner, so remember to drop a pin to help you in case you need it before you leave the first time. The property manager was nice and sent me a pin when I reached out. As I said before, I was able to contrast my experience when I came to st john years back at the house I stayed at in Cruz Bay compared to Casa Yaya, and this house has a lot going for it that isn't easy to find in other properties: the beautiful views that aren't too far away, the quiet location, the king sized beds, the quiet and efficient a/c in the bedrooms, the large double bathrooms, cleanliness, well stocked, no bugs, and of course the pool for most people. Will stay again. Thank you to the owners for pouring time, love, and money into this property so that all of us can share in the enjoyment of it.

We absolutely loved our visit to St. John and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Casa Yaya was all we had hoped for and more. And that view......unbelievable! Thank you!

My three kids and I spent 10 nights at Casa Yaya in early April. We all had a fantastic time. The view of Coral Bay is truly hard to beat and we saw some awesome sunrises. I loved how open and spacious the property is. The fully furnished kitchen was used for all breakfasts and a handful of other meals. My kids loved the swimming pool. And the beach chairs were great as we explored a different beach each day. The East end of the island is so nice and quiet but still only about 35 min from Cruz Bay. And quite convenient to beaches like Salt Pond and Maho. And Cruz Bay has several great dining establishments including Skinny Legs and Salty Mongoose Pizza. We highly recommend Casa Yaya for your next stay on St. John.
