The Lumberyard condos are close walking distance to the Ouray ice park. This was our second stay and we were in an upstairs condo this time. Cam was super responsive and willing to accommodate our three dogs … and even warned us about the metal stairs. The condo was very well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. We will definitely stay again!

We had a lovely experience. The location was easily accessed, and the description was accurate. The host was very accommodating. My daughter and I were very comfortable in the condo.

3rd time staying at this property. Amphitheater view with deck is a big draw. Always clean, quiet and well equipped. Cam is a great guy and appreciated his help parking my trailer.

Really enjoyed our first day in Ouray. Loved how we were so close to town. Nice views, easy check in, clean. We stayed in Amphitheatre. The staircase going upstairs is metal and there is kinda an awkward step at the top that made me nervous about one of my kids not paying attention and missing it. If you have trouble with stairs, this may be a challenge. Only negative for us was that the beds were a little in the hard side, but that may just be a preference thing. Would definitely stay again.

We would not stay at this property again. The porch did have an amazing view, and we really enjoyed our time sitting outside, staring at the amphitheater. However, the furniture outside was not comfortable at all. As far as cleanliness, the tools to the grill had been used and not cleaned. There were dead bugs around all the windows, and the fans were dirty and most likely throwing dust into the air. This is on us, but we did not realize there would not be air-conditioning and it was brutally hot that week. It was very uncomfortable the first night, especially. We also brought dogs, which we really appreciated the property accommodating; however, the stairs leading up to the unit were steep and like a fire escape, and our dogs were terrified to go up and down for three days and three nights. We have stayed at rentals for almost a decade now and I’m surprised this unit has a 4.9 rating. It’s fine and I think for some people who don’t need much it’s going to bean adequate stay. I would have preferred something with more comfortable outside, seating, air conditioning, more updated Appliances and kitchen tools, and less of a hike up and down the stairs. For what we paid, I would have expected more.

An amazing view of the 4th of July fireworks. Very comfortable. Awesome patio to sit on in evenings. Well stocked kitchen. Great for my family. My son found puzzles that kept his attention. I loved the small town and walking everywhere. Great atmosphere.

This condo was great for a family. Fabulous deck with views of the mountains. Not far from Main Street. Would stay here again.

We loved the property. The comfy, cozy 2 bedroom was just perfect for the foot of snow that came down. Views were breathtaking and location was close to ice park, hot springs and delicious eats!

Great location, friendly, and responsive host, and well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and TV with a lot of channels for when you have that downtime. Will be back!

We loved our stay at the Lumberyard. It was perfect for 2 couples. Everything was perfect and so easy. We absolutely loved Ouray! Enjoyed relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful view. Even got to see a bear run through the neighborhood one afternoon! Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

The condo was very well appointed, comfortable and in a great location. The area beside the river was an awesome hang out space. The only disappointment is that the view from the balcony is not as pictured--it is now a parking/refuse space for nearby construction and ORV parking. Overall, not a huge deal since you have the communal area by the river, but not a great view if that is what you are expecting. Would defintely choose a unit in this complex again.

We loved it and would definitely stay again

It was easy to check in and we were blown away by how nice the condo was. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with the views and relaxing inside after doing the Ouray perimeter hike! We also had our dog with us and she loved it! Everything was walkable from the condo as well. We’d love to come back!

Ouray is pretty small, but we loved the location of this property. We had walking access to multiple entry points to the Perimeter Trail and could walk to Box Canon. As mentioned in a previous review, the condo itself is nothing special, but did the trick. A couple of FYI's--the condo is on the second floor and the stairs are metal grates, making it tough on dogs and the walls are pretty thin. If you're used to apartment life, this probably isn't a big deal.

We had the BEST stay! We have little boys and the washer/dryer was so convenient. Communication with the owner was easy and they were polite and friendly. We booked the amphitheater room and it definitely felt like a home away from home. The grill & kitchen cooktop were perfect to use for breakfast and dinner. The view is breathtaking!! Bring binoculars so you can see the mountains. We will be booking at the Lumberyard again and again!

unit worked out well

Overall great property. Walking distance to everything including several trails. The check in and access were very easy. The interior was slightly dated, but not enough to take away from the stay. We had a few small issues, such as my daughters front window was jammed and would not open. I actually ran into the owner and mentioned these issues and I have no doubt they will be address. My wife also left a high dollar item behind, and the owners are currently working to return the item to use. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location and well apportioned.

I loved sleeping at night to the sound of the river. This location was only two blocks from the start of the Imogene Run. There are four other units in this lovely historic building and the upstairs unit with the deck and view of the Amphitheater was gorgeous. Will definitely try to stay here again on my next trip to Ouray.

Can and company were great.

Our room was named "The Amphitheater" - and the views were as promised! It was also quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. We loved the wide array of local spice blends, as we often barbecue on vacation. They thoughtfully provided a hiking book, which was very helpful to us. The location is perfect for anything you might want to do. We hiked, did a jeep tour, and ended our visit with a soak in Ouray Hot Springs. We even visited the local museum on a particularly rainy morning, and we highly recommend it! Lots of local history, arranged in different rooms with different themes. Highly recommended.

Great condo for family of four. Conveniently located in Ouray. Stocked with great spices and games and puzzles on hand. J Lovely views. Beautiful town and great hikes.

We loved the location and view from the patio of this property. You're able to walk to just about everything: hikes, restaurants, hot springs, shops and more.

The condo was nice and spacious. We only stayed for 1 night. I had a great night sleeping 😴

My husband, girls, and I stayed in this unit for 5 days and loved the location to not only everything in Ouray but also surrounding towns. The unit was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel like home. Highly recommend this place and hope to visit again!
