Loved being right on the beach. It was super convenient with kids. We did not realize it was right next to a public beach access. The beach in front of the house was super busy with people because of that. But we still enjoyed our time and would recommend it to others.

This house was everything we needed and more for our vacation. Great location and very clean!

The home was a perfect location to walking downtown and walking home. Perfect to the beach lovely space was lovely, but I definitely would expect better furnishings not feeling like I was in a college dorm for the price and the level of house. The house itself is to beautiful for the type of furniture there. I was disappointed that bedrooms didn’t have TVs. I know you’re on vacation, but relaxing in the morning watching TV in bed it’s part of enjoyment on vacation play in our opinion. Updates to floors and deck steps will have to happen soon, but again very nice location!

Nothing like waking up to the sound of the waves and putting your feet in the sand. Lovely view and location!

The location of the house is absolutely perfect in relation to downtown. Also a wonderful spot on the beach and the view from the house to the water was beautiful. The house had wonderful space with plenty of room for our family of 6 and grandparents. We arrived to doors unlocked and the back doors wide open. The front bedroom window was also open and stuck open. They came to tape it off for our stay. The kitchen floor was filthy upon arrival and we had the cleaning crew come back. We were told we were receiving a refund for the cleaning fee but have yet to see the refund. The place is in dire need of upgrades. The two master bedroom beds are terrible. The furniture is dated. The house was properly equipped otherwise. The worst part is that we were burglarized. They stole my bag, my moms bag and my husbands cologne. There are no cameras on the house. I understand not having interior cameras for privacy, but there is no reason there should not be exterior cameras. It took hours to hear back from management because they were dealing with a more important issue of a pipe burst in another house. It really put a damper on our trip and we felt uncomfortable the rest of our stay. Bottom line, beware of your surroundings

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It is right on the beach with its own private beach access. The house is very clean, perfect amount of space for a big group, and we loved the layout. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street with bars and restaurants. There is also a 24/7 market 2 blocks away. The beach is super clean and very peaceful. I absolutely recommend this house to anyone staying in Folly Beach. We would love to come back again in the future.

So much room to spread out and a view that cannot be beat. Loved the direct beach access and Folly Beach overall.

The home of as wonderful and comfortable for a weekend away at the beach. We greatly enjoyed the open space and ocean views. The home is comfortable for a group trip. Having 3 full baths is a plus! We did however arrive at the check in time and the house was not ready. It hadn’t been cleaned, the beds were not made the dishwasher was running… just be aware!

My friends and I loved our time in Folly Beach. The house was perfect for long chats, walks on the beach, good rests, and close to all the town has to offer. Everything we needed!

This home is beautiful & was perfect for our stay! The host was great; communication was immediate & the location was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

We loved the home's location close to town, open floor plan, beach, deck. and would highly recommend and return IF property better maintained. Vacasa eventually fixed kitchen plumbing; other reported problems were unresolved. The kitchen sink was out of commission, washed dishes in bathtub SA-TU. Other unresolved issues: elevator arrival/departure days (someone came to fix this, but it remained broken), sofa bed (missing springs/screws, adults couldn't even sit on it due to sagging), ice maker broken, upstairs shades not working, plus safety concerns due to lack of maintenance outside and inside, too many to list here. A contractor came to assess situation. He said to report the many issues in hopes the home owner would be aware, that this was a common problem with vacation rentals. All were reported with photo documentation at the beginning of our stay. This was a very frustrating week, knowing our concerns were not fully addressed. Even so everyone agreed we had a great time. Vacasa compensated us for one day's rental due to these problems. We hope this property can get back into first-rate shape. It could be a wonderful vacation home.

This was probably the nicest places I’ve stayed on the beach. Pros- On the beach. Easy to get down to the sand but back up to the house for drink runs, potty breaks, cranky toddlers, etc. well appointed kitchen. We didn’t have an issue with finding different kitchen items for whatever we needed. Appliances worked well. Was impressed it had gas Spacious- a family vacation is a time for togetherness but sometimes being able to spread out is clutch. Plenty of bathrooms. Great parking Quiet. Cons- Some normal wear and tear issues part and parcel of a rental. Not deal breakers just a sign of a well loved home. Example- slow draining upstairs shower/tub. It is a bit of a walk to the main drag for dinner. No big deal for an adult but slightly more difficult with children. Would love to stay here again!

A great location on the beach! The house was beautifully furnished. Whatever a guest might need was readily available. Our family, adults and kids, spent enjoyable hours on the beach using the beach chairs and toys.

Overall we enjoyed staying at this property, the location, beach access, and the views were fantastic. The elevator works great as long as you're smart enough to read the instructions. We did have issues with the downstairs TV, I think it's probably time to replace it as you could barely see it during the day and at night the colors are way off. Some locks on the upstairs bathroom doors would be a nice addition in the future.

The beach view is amazing! There’s nothing better than waking up to a beautiful sunrise. The house was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals too.

We arrived to a filthy house with broken furniture (bed and chair) and an unsafe deck area with multiple missing and broken spokes on the multiple decks. It was a huge safety issue with our small children. We ended up cleaning for the first few hours we were there just so it would be sanitary for us to put our groceries and clothes away. While management was willing to send housekeeping out the next day, it was not acceptable to wait as the house was dirty when we arrived. Until Tuesday we had someone other than our family in the house fixing something that was broken. The coffee maker didn’t work and was replaced several days into our stay. The carpets were filthy including all of the rugs in the kitchen and bathrooms. The hardwood floors had hair, food and sand all over them when we arrived. The grill had 2 empty propane tanks and was so filthy inside we decided not to attempt to use it even after the propane tank was replaced. The air filters had not been changed in so long that the air vents were completely covered in dust (maintenance did replace these while we were there). While the view from the house and deck were beautiful it was hard to relax with multiple people in and out of the house and the furniture being dirty and worn. As a family we have have been visiting Folly Beach since 2017 and never had a bad experience in any rental until now. While wear and tear on a rental property is to be expected this house was far from a normal wear and tear. We were very disappointed in our stay.

We had a wonderful time at The Lighthouse Keeper! The home was very spacious for seven adults and had amazing views inside and out! The home was well equipped with kitchen items, very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. I am consistently impressed with Vacasa’s customer service. We had an issue with the elevator when we got there which was very quickly rectified by the great maintenance folks. Overall a truly fantastic experience!

We had a great time at the Lighthouse Keeper! The house was very clean upon arrival. This house is a perfect location on folly. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the restaurants and bars. This house had an amazing view of the ocean. Would highly recommend!

My family had a wonderful vacation at this home! We had plenty of room indoors and out to bring multiple generations together for a joyful week celebrating a graduation. I highly recommend this home.

The master bedroom bedding needs to be replaced

The house is beautiful and the front beach location is wonderful. Being close to downtown Folley is very convenient and the location is far enough away for the beach to be relatively quiet. Great kitchen and dining area for the 7 foodies in our family. The negatives were an elevator that refused to work reliably. A bedroom upstairs with a window in the stuck open position and no screen. Multiple downstairs windows with no screens and many unable to open when we wanted the seabreeze and the sound of the ocean. The king beds were basically on the floor with no apparent frame and some of our senior members had trouble getting out of bed because they were so low. For the cost of the house I expected no issues.

Location was the best! This house needs upgrades. The furniture is dirty and worn out the railings are all dangerously loose and unsafe. The kitchen has everything but in organized and hard to find anything it’s so jammed in cabinets and drawers. The bathrooms need locks on the doors. The downstairs has a lot of rusty and broken chairs that need to be removed! Beds are comfortable. We had a marvelous week but won’t rent this space again because it is in dire need of attention.

We really enjoyed the house. The view of the beach is amazing, and the porches are big enough that you can spread out and relax. Great location, beside the public beach access so we had two options for getting down to the beach. Spacious rooms, very well maintained. Had some questions about the elevator and were able to resolve it quickly with the property manager. Would definitely recommend!!

Very spacious beach house with all the amenities and spectacular views. Everything was great although some little maintenance on the deck, gates and locks might be due. Short walk to great restaurants and bars and 30min drive to Charleston. Anyone booking this will not regret it.

Perfect location. Perfect setup. Only critique was a lack of beach towels provided, but as long as you plan for that it was great weekend away with plenty of space for my group. Thanks!
