Bit tricky to park sometimes as had to park further away from property as other cars in spots outside house

location was fantastic, large house, very clean, good beds, well equipped kitchen, en-suite and a bathroom,
nothing that would stop us going again
when cooking have extractor fan and back door open as smoke alarms sensitive, macerator toilets as expected noisey at night

Very helpful host. Accomodation was very good quality and beds and kitchen were of a really high spec. Good value and parking outside.

Had great communication with the owner prior to arrival. Very prompt replies regarding queries. Well appointed property including well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for relaxing and socialising with friends and family - good Wi-fi connection. Nice touch having logs for the log burner

The location was only a few minutes from the town centre, excellent walking area for the dog within minutes of The accommodation The host was brilliant after a very last minute booking due to the booking of another accommodation fell through.

The layout of the property was excellent with an open plan well equipped kitchen, lots of cleaning materials and a large dining table. The locked yard which was great for keeping our bikes safe.
The en-suite bathroom had a dirty toilet brush and had not been cleaned behind.

Great communication at all times. Lovely and clean, comfortable and great location also dog friendly.
Loads of things already supplied when we visited. Tea, coffee, milk, towels, toilet roll, logs and kindling cleaning products.

Great location for the town even though there was not a lot going on in Barnard Castle

Lovely place, and well equipped with everything you would need. Clean and comfortable with parking right out front. Close to everything in the town so didn't need to use the car with a fantastic restaurant just across the road.
This only issue we had was we could not get the front door to open but the back door was so easy to get to we just used that instead.

Very well equipped with various extras, wasn't expecting a full freezer and smart TV! Incredibly responsive hosts and love the central Barnard Castle location!
Could do with a blind in the bathroom- felt a bit exposed at night! Parking was a challenge, had to carry things a fair way to unpack and keep an eye out for a closer spot during the stay.

Lovely house, tastefully decorated, close to cafes, shops, Castle and River.
There was building work happening in close proximity, not the owners fault but did spoil the opportunity to sit out at breakfast / lunch.
