We loved the cleanliness, location and size of this house. We visit the Cape every year for Oysterfest, and this was the best rental that we've had in several years.

The actual VRBO home surpassed our expectations. It's even prettier than the pictures. Extremely comfortable home, lovely property and gorgeous view. The cleanliness of the home was outstanding - one of the cleanest rentals I've been in. The communication and courtesy from the Del Mar Management Team was excellent. Very detailed, timely and helpful information and communication continually from them. We loved everything about this home and location. Highly recommend it to everyone - and we are looking forward to returning again in the future. Extremely satisfied on every levels. 5 Star all around!

Everything worked as described except for the jacuzzi and the broken blender…I assume it will be fixed by our next visit.

Overall, this place is truly a gem! The location is PERFECT. Close to everything, walking distance to restaurants and stores and the VIEW!! Sunrises from the multiple decks are just perfect. The only complaint I had was the master bedroom carpet was awful, full of stains and smelled of urine. I informed the property manager immediately and they did offer to come out and have the carpets cleaned. We didn't want to deal with the smelly and wet carpets during our stay so we had enough space to just not use that room. I assume this will be remedied by the next stay.

We loved the house! Location was ideal!! Our only issues were with the master bedroom and bath. The jacuzzi tub did not work, which was disappointing. The linens on the master bedroom bed were a disaster. Poorly fitting mattress pad bunching up all week. Unfortunately we did not sleep well in the bed.
However, we had a great vacation, and truly enjoyed the location of the house! The songbirds in the morning were delightful!!

If you enjoy watching the sun rise over a beautiful cove without leaving your cozy bed, this is the house for you. The rooms were spacious, bathed in light, and furnished with comfortable furniture. The property is easy to find, and is on a quiet street. We walked to the shops in Orleans, and getting on Route 6 was a breeze. Our group was all adults, but this would be a perfect house for kids. The bathrooms were dated, but everything (including the outdoor shower) worked. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. We were locked out once, and immediately reached the managers who fixed the code and had us back in within 2 minutes. I would rent this house again. Note to the new owners: If you could find a way to add a bath on the 2nd floor, (perhaps in the laundry room), you wouldn't have up to 6 people sharing the upstairs bathroom. OR, you might add a wall in the 1st floor bedroom to make that bathroom accessible from the hallway.

Very well-maintained and clean. We were here for a soccer tourney weekend, so we were not able to avail ourselves of the waterfront options. Very comfortable and well-stocked with necessary items for cooking, etc.

Cove summer home
Property was very clean and comfortable. View of cove from the back deck is amazing. Kids loved the bunk beds. Much more amenities offered than we realized. Del Mar was very quick to assist with our needs.

Fantastic location. House needs updates, but was spotless. I would not recommend for children under 12, just because of safety. Width alart of banisters, loft, etc. We have tight eyes on our kids, but not all people do. Just a suggestion

Six of us stayed at this home in July, 2021. We loved the house and had a great time. The house combines a fantastic location with waterfront views. A private dock makes for an easy put-in for kayaks as well as a place to park a boat. Sunrises over the water are in plain view from the house. Wander through a couple of local roads and you can be on the bike trail in a couple of minutes.
The interior needs some upgrades but is generally large and comfortable, with really good A/C.
We had most of our meals on the deck, which is fairly private and has great views of the water, a.k.a., Town Cove.
The cove is beautiful and a nice paddle, even for beginners. We rented a boat from Goose Hummock and traveled out to the ocean, where we anchored up on what I believe are the best beaches in all of Cape Cod. Dozens of seals kept us company.
The house was spotless upon our arrival. Our interactions with the realtor were great; when the microwave broke, they had it replaced immediately.
I'm amazed that houses at this price point frequently provide plastic wine glasses and antiquated pots and pans, but that is a small complaint for an otherwise lovely property. Besides, it is just 1/2 mile from the pretzel aisle of Stop & Shop. :-)
