The condo was clean, in a great location, private and just right for a family vacation! Staff was very helpful and friendly!

A great place for family of 6. Fantastic location, close to all the great things Turtle Bay has to offer, beaches, restaurants, small hotel shops and nature hikes. The rental was comfortable with kitchen stocked with all the basic dishes etc. This is older 70's development so air conditioning and fans not the best, but we didn't need them with breezes blowing through. Washer dryer available. Instructions from rental agency clear and concise for arrival and departure. This is a great escape without going to neighbor island.

Air conditioners in bedrooms didn't work really well but due to the temps during our stay they weren't a problem. the stove burners need to have the connectors replaced after using them a couple of times we had to readjust them to be able to cook. Location was great for the price off the beaten path and quiet kids loved the pool.

all good. if you want to cook a fancy meal, you might have a problem but all the basics were there!

Although this unit located in a fantastic location. There were some issues with the unit itself. The circuit breaker tripped when we try to use the upper room ceiling fan. The down stairs bedroom AC turns on but no air blows out. The bottom restroom bath tub drainage plugged it took awhile for it to drain completely and the stove....only 2 out of the 4 burners worked. We made due and tried not to let this bother our stay.

Amazing value overall...the location was perfect, close enough to the action without being IN the touristy part of the North Shore. Extremely convenient for families, surfers (5 min drive to Sunset, 8 min drive to Rocky Pt and Pipeline), couples, golfers, and virtually anyone who wants a perfect place for a great, very reasonable price!

Arrived on Sunday night, 1/27/13 in a rain storm. Did not have the gate code or lock box codes (found out later that they were send via e-mail on 1/23/13); however our Hawaiian vacation started on 1/20/13. Fortunately, we were able to contact the turtle bay web site and secure the after hours emergency contact number to obtain the neceessary codes. Had we known in advance via the confirmation e-mail that a follow up e-mail would be providing the code information, we would have checked our e-mail account. The place was clean but could use an update in the applicances. Our unit did not have a hair dryer. Some ants and bugs were found sharing our condo.

Clean, well maintained. Close proximity to pool. Relaxed environment. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

detergent for washing machine was barely enough for one wash. garbage bags were too small for the garbage can in the unit.we live here and have learned to bring out own stuff. for the summer months a couple of pedestal fans would be great as loft and dining area stay really warm and dont catch the overhead fan breezes. there were no directions that we saw on how to let others in once we were in the unit. we finally asked the security people.

Everything was good as usual. The only "not so good" this time was the pool wasn't as clean as it usually is. The pool water didn't seem filtered as it should be.

For the same price as a hotel room, we had two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Very quiet, we couldn't hear noise from neighbors on either side of us. The landscape was peaceful and beautiful, the beach a short walk. And LeiLeis restaurant was great, as well as the BeachHouse at the resort.

Good location , nice and clean. Fan in the bathroom was noisy, only one switch for light and fan.

Great place to stay for a family of 5. The stay was only for 3 days so we did not do any cooking. The condo was very spacious. The beach was close by and the little town a few miles away was great. Our 7 year old Granddaughter did not want to leave. The rest of our vacation days were spent in Waikiki.

great staff, clean, will use again!!

I am not terribly picky, but there are a few maintainence issues that need fixing:1. the drain to the diswasher will overflow onto the counter and onto the floor. This has been happening for years according to the welts in the baseboards in that area.2. The curtains in the bedrooms filter out no light and the light from the parking lots is BRIGHT.3. Only the two small burners on the stove work. It made it really hard to cook without the big burners.On the positive side, the location is terrific, the staff is awesome, the place was clean and we would probably stay here again- if the things above were fixed!

I gave a low scoring on the maintenance part...there was several things wrong with the unit...dvd was broken, phone dead, downstairs toilet flap, lamp switch, upstairs remote not for tv, kitchen sink faucet wouldn't stay in place...overall I would stay again if all minor repairs are done.

i love the serenity, the nice greenery vs LA,the beach is a few feet away and can go for a nice walk..the best is when you have a caring staff at your office in kahuku. i love hi..

It was difficult to recover from the arrival evening and the requirement to clean up existing food, kill cockroaches and generally do a bit of housekeeping. I know it is difficult when these types of pests become established but that is an honest assessment of how our party felt.

me and the family had a great time again, the condo is nice , could use some new furniture, but the value is great

my family and I loved the stay at Turtle Bay. We surfed, rode horses and laid on the beach. We also explored the island from the convenient location of the estates. Had no problems with any aspect, beds were great, kitchen functional and views beautiful.

My family gathering was a huge success. We rented several condos in the area and made one condo as our home base. Many family members came from themainland with their children. We BBQed at the pool area and watched the young ones swim. Thank you for a great time.

My family has stayed at the Estates of Turtle Bay in the past. This year we were surprised by the many rules the property security seemed to have, the most surprising being no pool floats. I was disappointed in the lack of friendliness we experienced. We were there in July, high tourist season. The full time residents seemed annoyed to have renters. The location is convienent for all the sights Oahu has to offer. My family has always enjoyed the ocean at Turtle Bay. The condo is a bit of a trek, at least a 10 minute walk to the bay while carrying beach gear and coolers. The resort did have plenty of parking for the public using the beach.

My vacation rental experience was great! The place was very clean and it was so convenient to have a kitchen. Overall, my boyfriend, sister, and I had an awesome stay.

Nobody picked up our rubbish. No change of towels no bedding change and we stayed four nights. To wash our own towels is insane for paying what we did

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Estates at Turtle Bay. The location on the North Shore is fantastic; it's a short drive to wonderful beaches, shopping, hiking, etc.. The property is secure and required a key entry, so felt very safe. The unit was in a great location overlooking the Fazio golf course, and the ocean in the distance, a five minute walk to the beach and the amenities of the Turtle Bay Resort (restaurants, bars, snorkelling, tennis, golf, etc.) Our unit, #81, has a newly remodelled, well equipped kitchen. The owners provided everything you will need for cooking, including coffee filters and salt and pepper. We brought our own cooking spices with us, which I would recommend. (The can opener did not work and should be replaced) The rest of the unit is older, but in decent shape and very clean. The beds provided were a bonus for our family (2 queens and 2 twins in the loft, so all 5 adults had a bed rather than a fold out couch) and are pretty comfortable, although one of the twins is tilted and in need of fixing) The fans in the bathrooms are very loud, and perhaps need replacing. The furniture was comfortable enough for the amount of time we spent at the condo. The lanai has a wonderful view, we enjoyed watching the golfers come by every day while having our morning coffee and evening drinks! The outdoor furniture is old and not very comfortable and should be updated, but it served the purpose for the 5 of us. One of the 3 pools on the property is right outside the unit which was very clean and well kept. We used the pool areas a few times, and were often the only ones there. (Note: There are no BBQ's on the property, only old fashioned grills at the pool area that require briquettes). All in all, it was just what we wanted in accomodation and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it for family and friends.

Our family of 5 (3 kids 13,8, and 6) had a great time staying here for 5 nights. The condo has 2 bedrooms and a great loft which our two youngest enjoyed. The view of the golf course and ocean in the distance was relaxing and beautiful. We did not see any bugs or insects on our stay and the condo was very clean. As with any condo or home there are some signs of wear but nothing that prevented our stay from being great. The pool is steps away and warm for swimming. Kitchen worked well and saved us lots of money compared to eating out. We had a parking spot each night when we came back from exploring the North Shore. Loved our stay and we hope to come back again.

Overall the property was in pretty good condition. It definitely met our needs for a weekend getaway. Very quiet and peaceful, great golf course view

Overall this was a nice place and I would recommend it to my friends. The only draw back were cockroaches found outside the premises. The other flaw was the WiFi not readily available on the first day.

Property was petty much as advertised. No disappointments. Great location and well maintained.
