This was a fantastic property with plenty of space. It was nicely updated and clean. Nice distance to beaches.The pool was absolutely fantastic! Perfect for playing all day and keeping cool! The ferry to a private beach is no longer available to guests which is a bummer. Also, we would have liked to be able to control the temperature in the home during the stay. However, the owners were very responsive and helpful. Other than those two things, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to others!

Our family stayed at the house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house was spacious and located in a quiet street, so we had no complaints. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and organized for us upon arrival as well. We were happily surprised to find a whole row of bicycles available for us to use, which we enjoyed on early morning bike rides to Shamrock park and to see the town. The pool was also very nice and had a lot of toys available, which the kids played with to their content. There were plenty Beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella that we always appreciated having on the property for our trips to Venice Beach. The grill that was available was used almost everyday while we were on vacation, and it help up well. But most of all, communication with the owner was super smooth, and we were always one call away from any questions we had being answered, and the service was excellent. Thank you for helping our family have a relaxing vacation we won’t forget.

We travel to and rent in Venice several times a year. This rental is on our top 2 rentals. We will be back. The bottle of wine is a nice touch.

Aneta your home was clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming. The pool was a lifesaver because of the red tide. You’re location was great and close to everything that Venice had to offer. The notebook you have with information and numbers was great, it helped us see what Venice had for activities. Hoping to visit Venice again and stay at your home!

This house was immaculate and had everything needed for a relaxing vacation. I've booked several houses and this was the BEST! The house is in a quiet area and has a heated pool and outdoor area to relax which was very private. Will definitely return! Patricia

This was the cleanest and nicest place we have stayed with VRBO. Host was always very responsive when I had questions. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. Short distances to the beach. We are very pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Experienced Venice and surrounding areas while staying at this very comfortable VRBO. Short driving distances and access to many beaches and shopping areas. Owners were easy to contact and responded immediately. Great vacation!

Nice home, remodeled, with privacy for each couple. Pool was wonderful. Nothing that we needed beyond what was already there. Beach chairs for the beach. Several items for the pool. Owners were available any time we had a question. Would definitely stay again!

This rental is extremely clean and in a great neighborhood. The pool and deck is beautiful. We were outside on the deck or in the pool the entire week. Paul the property manager is amazing and top notch professional. The owners are awesome and reply to the emails quickly. The rental is close to downtown Venice with great shops, dining, beaches and the fishing pier. Also very close to Englewood. We would definitely stay at this rental again. Great job to everyone.

We booked this property for a place to vacation and visit family. It was very relaxing and my Kids loved the pool. The was pool clean and the temperature was nice. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed. We had a minor issue with the bathroom plumbing and Paul came over and quickly fixed it. The couch was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing on It while watching Movies. The only things that I would of liked was a full length mirror for getting ready, but that is a personal preference. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at La Victoria this summer! The location is great; close to everything. The sleeping and living quarters are spacious and the pool is really nice. The house has nice bathrooms, appliances, and cookware. It also is stocked with basic supplies so you can get a jump start on your shopping trip. We took long walks through the neighborhood, surrounding streets, and Shamrock Park every morning and really enjoyed the mix of old and new homes in South Venice. There are plenty of bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, pool floats, and noodles for you to use. Aneta and Tom are fantastic hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be happy to rent this property again in the future.

Pros: Excellent salt water pool (claims to be heated but I don't believe it was). Somewhat updated kitchen Beach items were helpful Appreciated the baby high chair Great washer and dryer Plenty of fridge space Decent master shower Nice TV with Netflix Cons: The beds were awful! First of all they were nearly directly on the floor. I had to ask for box springs to be delivered so my parents could get out of bed. The mattresses were terrible. No joke, prison mattresses (we have family that works for DOC, they are the same brand they use in the prisons). I would challenge the owners to sleep on these. Mattresses. I did appreciate the box spring delivery and mad the manager aware of how terrible the mattresses were during our stay. Visited friends at similar VRBOs in Venice (one being 3 minutes drive from this house) that were much much nicer and the same size. The tiniest of dressers in the master with no furniture to put your luggage. Not a fan of rummaging through my bag on the floor for a week. The water smells of suffer and tastes bad. You must by bottled. Half of the electrical outlets in the master and twin bedroom did not work (manager made aware). My dad with us is a licensed building inspector and contractor, noticed quite a few odd construction flaws. I'm guessing this was a flip house with a mediocre remodel. Needed dish towels and dish cloths (which we purchased and left behind for the next guest) I have stayed in quite a few VRBOs as its often our preferred way to travel. This place was the worst one. Will not stay here again. We enjoyed Venice and (other than our tine in the pool) glad we had many reasons to get out of the house.

We wanted to stay in Venice as our friends live there. This was one of the closest rentals we could find for the 2 weeks required (end Apr beg of May). It wasn't cheap,$4600, but looked good in the photos and was in the right location. Communication from the host was fine prior to arrival with details of how to access etc. Once we arrived and settled down we started to notice the issues. The beds are very low, whilst not a problem for my wife, daughter and I, our parents in their mid 70's struggled to get in and out. The beds had been made but we were not convinced they were clean, we ended up putting one of the sheets in the wash. The sheets are very old, thin, faded and look dirty even after cleaning! Some new sheets wouldn't go amiss! When you arrive late after a long day traveling all you want is a good bed and nights sleep. To top it off the headboards were all dusty and hadn't been cleaned for a while. Facilities in the house were good with all appliances, coffee machine etc and there was also a good washing machine and tumble dryer. There were also 2 fridge freezers but neither are connected to make ice. The swimming pool is a good size the pool guy Robin calls round once a week. He is a great guy and did a good job. The house can accommodate 6-8 people but there are only 3 loungers and 2 inflatable / lilo beds so not everyone can sunbathe at the same time. Whilst there the smaller bedroom with the 2 beds, the power sockets stopped working so the bedside table light and our daughters nightlight didn't work which was very annoying. The house manager/maintenance guy, a really good guy, arranged for the electrician to call round the day we left, we asked for this as didn't want the house being worked on whilst we were there. There was only a few days left so we managed without. The water also stopped working late one evening. In the morning we checked with neighbors ands theirs was fine, we didn't realize each house has its own supply. We called the maintenance guy but didn't hear back. Another neighbor called round but as the fuse board had no circuits marked he wasn't sure where to start so we told him to leave and we would wait for the maintenance guy. Fortunately our friends called by to and were able to reset the system and get the water running again. Another gripe was that we only had 3 bikes not the 8 in the picture and there was no cool box. We did get one after about a week. Alot to improve on to make it anywhere near good value!

The house was great and we loved our stay. Perfect for a family vacation. Really appreciated how clean the house was. Could have used a few dishtowels in the kitchen and some instructions for the air/heat but these were minor details.

We can travel to many beaches in a max 20 mins drive (Manasota and Venice beaches are less than 10 mins). Paul was one of the most helpful property managers I have ever met. Whenever you need him, in a couple of minutes he responds and fixes it (which we almost need nothing because everything was in perfect condition). This house was clean and set up nicely. Had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Had a few very minor concerns with the pool and the air conditioning, but the property manager took care of them as quickly as he could. We really enjoyed our stay!
