Our family used this beautiful home for our annual family trip. The home was just as listed and it suited our family perfectly! The porches, the pool, the paddle boards, the kayaks, the game room and, especially, the pontoon boat, made it ideal for all of us. The kitchen was as complete as any VRBO we have ever stayed in, so feeding our family was a breeze. We would recommend this home for any family or group that wants a relaxing vacation. Thank you Jared for everything! We had a ball!

Our family really enjoyed this home and all the amenities! From the boat we also rented, to the kayaks and paddle boards, the pool and pool area, fire pit (and s’mores kit!), the screened in porches and deck, all the bedrooms and lots of space! We loved the convenient location and had a wonderful week! Thank you to the property manager for his responsiveness and help with a few items!

We had an awesome time! There was a lot to do…swimming pool, corn hole, s’more, fishing, swimming on the lake, paddle boards, kayak, board & card games. We did it all! The kitchen had all the amenities to cook in bulk for the entire group. Communication with the property manager was very good. Any questions I had were answered within 24 hours.

This house matches its pictures! We vacation to a different spot every spring. We commented the entire week that this house might be our favorite! So many outdoor activities for kids and adults. We kayaked, paddle boarded, cruised around the lake on the pontoon boat, tackled the culvert (!!), jumped off the boat and swam in the lake, had drinks at the Pointe by boat, floated on tubes off the dock, fished off the dock, kids swam in the pool, and we had a fire every night! All while relaxing on the comfy couches, visiting the Food Lion daily, walking the neighborhood, and playing games at the awesome dining room table. We took a short road trip and visited the dam as well.
The owner and the property caretaker were great.

Beautiful property with everything that we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed without having to pack extra stuff.
Even the neighbors were awesome and hooked us up with some firewood.

The ladies in my Bible Study Group stayed 2 nights. The house was clean. Everything we needed was supplied. It is a lovely home with a beautiful view. All of us had a great time. Jared was a great host. You will not regret booking this home! We would love to go back again. Sime in our group are considering booking for their family vacation!

We had an awesome time at this beautiful home! Jared, the owner is amazing to work with and responds in lightning speed for questions you may have.
You can’t beat the location of this house either, it sits on top of anything you need in the area. Additionally, the home is beautifully decorated, clean and just very cozy. There was plenty of room for our party of eight to spread out & we all thoroughly enjoyed the two Christmas trees that were set up when we arrived- such a special touch!
It rained the majority of the time we were there but the views of the cove were amazing. We’re already talking about going back during the summer months to take advantage of the pool and other accommodations. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were in town for a nearby wedding and loved every second we were in the house. It’s a great size, full of games and fun things to do, while outside has even more: kayaks, paddle boards, hammock, fire pit and hanging chair. It was a little chilly for extended pool time but we did use it a bit.
Jared was quick to respond when I reached out - he was wonderful to interact with.
I highly highly recommend this beautiful home!

We had a family vacation here with 5 adults and 4 children for a long weekend. It was everything we wanted! The pool was fantastic for our kiddos. Boat was easy to operate and access! The house has many nice touches like s'mores items and plenty of cooking supplies/spices. Tons of fun water toys including kayaks, SUPs, tubes, noodles etc.

Do not hesitate to book this listing for your next lake vacation! The property and lake view are spectacular and just what we needed for our family summer vacation. The pool was an added bonus! There is a large fire pit and s’more fixings provided by our host. We also enjoyed the use of the kayaks provided and rented the pontoon for 2 days. The house has everything you could need for your stay and if you forget anything, a grocery store is about 2 miles away. Jared, our host, was very quick to respond to any issues or questions that should arise. The house and cove are in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of room to spread out in the house and it is so nice and peaceful sitting on the various porches or by the pool.

The house suited our party of 7 perfectly. The mattresses are very comfortable, the window coverings block out the sun which is great!, kitchen is fully stocked, 3 minutes to Food Lion & ABC Store & ice cream store! The house is well appointed with furniture, lighting and ceiling fans. Nice neighbors! We used the 2 kayaks and the pool, there are alot of floats there for the pool & lake.

Our family had so much fun at this property; it had EVERYTHING & MORE than we needed or expected. My grandson and great nephews had a blast on the kayaks and in the pool. We loved it so much we are planning another trip in the fall. Beautiful property and amazing location. If I could give a 10 star rating I would.

It was the perfect home for a weekend family birthday celebration with six adults and two grandkids! Everybody slept comfortably on the three king/queen beds and four double bed bunks. Plenty of space to dine together and a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed during the colder off season, so we didn't use the pool, but we did enjoy the kayaks and the fire pit. All my family members encouraged us to return here for a week one summer.

It was February- so definitely not using all of the amenities, but the house was very nice, plenty big for our 2 families- feel like you could comfortably fit 3 or 4 families- and the arcade game downstairs was a hit! Perfect location and beautiful views. Would love to come back

We enjoyed our Christmas gathering at your lovely home with wonderful views of the lake. Relaxing, playing games, football, creating memories across four generations. Jared was very flexible and accommodating and prompt to respond to any question.

It was the perfect place for our family get together over a long weekend. We could fish, boat, hang around at the fire pit and the crazy teens even made use of the cool water in the pool. We want to stay here again next year for what has become our annual Fall Lake Trip. Thanks for the great spot!!

Absolutely loved the house, the layout, the amenities although the water was too cold for kayaking. Nice to have them provided. Would love to come back and stay longer. Providing s'mores ingredients was a good surprise.

Paddle boards, Kayaks AND a pool. We had such an adventure and it was so fun. We even were allowed to bring our dog and he was able to run in the huge front yard and go on the deck with us. Loved the screened porches as well. The house had so much and more!!!!!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Lake Gaston! The house and property were exactly what we were hoping for with very comfortable beds and bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, and lots of space to spend time together. The pool was perfect and it was so nice having access to the private dock with lots of activities to do on water. We look forward to coming back and renting again soon!

My family and I had our annual reunion here and it was one of the best we ever had. We rented the boat and drove around the lake and we did not notice any other house with a pool which was a must for us, so we were thankful for that. Jared was very responsive and great. Wonderful vacation at great lake house!
This lake house was clean, fully equipped, and the owner was quick to respond and handle a few unforeseen issues. The pool was a plus, and if we had needed a boat, the owner had one at the house to rent. The yard was spacious to play games. It was a quiet location and Lizard creek is our favorite location on the lake. It’s convenient to the grocery store also. Great vacation experience. A big thanks to the owner for sharing his lake house for others to make wonderful memories.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. After pandemic this was our first family vacation. The house was clean and beautiful. The pictures don’t do justice to the place. In reality it’s much more beautiful with natural light. We enjoyed the arcade games and the board games that the host left for the guests. Tv was also hooked with Netflix and other streaming application and we enjoyed our movie night. We truly enjoyed And had a great time.

Nice house in good location
Nice home with great amenities (pool, firepit, paddle boards, boat house and dock). Very close to grocery store, gas station and pizza place. The boat that is at the house and can be rented for an additional fee ran great although it is a little beat up and older but worked fine for cruising the lake. I would stay here again.

We had an amazing time and the property was very nice! We enjoyed swimming in the pool, making s’mores by the fire pit, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing & to top our great vacation off, ice cream at Wakeboarding Willie’s! Many memories made ❤️
