This was a very lovely place to stay. Differently will stay again. Communication between the property manager was excellent!! she was very helpful. The place was very clean and had plenty of space and all the necessities. Very close to MTU. And I really like that they turned and old building into something new.

The property was beautiful and modern with everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed on our vacation. Wonderful view of Portage lake and conveniently located to all the things we wanted to do in the Keweenaw. We felt very much at home there.

Stayed for MTU Winter Carnival Weekend. Close enough to campus to be an easy drive. Great location. Beautiful home! So much space & everything was provided. Comfy beds. The view of the lake was amazing!

Lovely property! Former community center that has been converted to 5 units. Very clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. Next to the lake and park and close to the Chassell General Store. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again!

This venue provided my family with a very comfortable stay. It is very clean and well stocked with toiletries, laundry abilities, and kitchen needs. The hosts have provided great communication within the unit - instructions on wifi, local favorite picks, and check our procedure. There is a wonderful view of the lake and park within a few steps. The listing is very accurate.

This place is great! My family and I stayed here. Lovely location right in Chassel. The property is only a couple hundred feet off of the water. Can't say enough great things!

My husband and I rented this beautiful and well equipped townhome as our “base camp” for our exploration of the Michigan UP. The townhome provided a relaxing place to come home to every evening after our excursions to Porcupine Mountain, the Quincy Mine, Copper Harbor, Bond waterfalls, and Pictured Rocks. Portage Lake is quiet and fun to see the fishermen out on the lake. The trails near the house were an excellent place to go for a walk in the evenings and the stars are amazing from the Chassell townhomes!
The beds were comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. We definitely recommend this townhome!

This is a nice property for families. The beach and playground and right outside and even with the crowds from Strawberry Festival it was quiet inside. The layout is great and gives everyone their own space. Really convenient check in and check out and very minimal tasks to complete prior to leaving. The finishes also made it super easy to clean up after our kids.

This is our second stay in this townhouse. The townhouse is near our family but it allows for our own space and cooking facilities. We thoroughly enjoy watching all the activity at the Chassell Township Park. The location provides many safe places to walk.

New, clean, super easy to access. Even though it’s right by the park and there was plenty of traffic from the ice fishermen, it’s quiet in the townhouse. Perfect location for spending time with our Tech student 😁.

This condo is in a great location for visiting Michigan Tech... 10 min drive. We only had 3 individuals in our party, which was perfect as we each got our own room and there are two bathrooms, but it could handle 6+ people. This unit is on the ground floor with parking right outside the door. Very convenient, great kitchen (missing a few essential utensils... so you may need to visit WalMart in Houghton), and very clean. Recently renovated. Good internet connection, Smart TV, etc... pretty new appliances, dishwasher, washer and dryer etc...
Hoping it's available next time we visit Michigan Tech!

This townhouse is beautiful and had everything one would need while staying in the area. We enjoyed our stay here very much while visiting our sons at MTU. It was the perfect location and had the perfect layout. We loved the views of the water. The only complaint we had was the mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable, extremely firm.

Brand new unit so lacking a few things- needs coasters, spaghetti pot, griddle, crock pot (for snowmobilers), hooks to hang wet gear, more hand towels, and WINE GLASSES! Lol! Beautiful place in a great location close to Michigan Tech! Definitely will try to come back. Thanks!!!

Their townhome is immaculately remodeled and the location on the lake is just lovely. We were there too short of time to take advantage of the lake, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We were in unit 5 with a great veiw of the park and lake. Nice patio for enjoying coffee with the sunrise. Comfortable. Bedrooms, baths and living room were spotless but we had to wipeoff the countertop.

Modern, interesting location, and convenient to groceries etc.. Did expect a set of twin beds in one bedroom, but there were three queens. Worked out okay because one of invited family was not able to come.

I have never personally booked with VRBO until this trip. This property was perfect. Very stylish, and the pictures although accurate don’t capture how beautiful it is and feels. There’s a peaceful, warm, comfortable energy as soon as you enter the townhouse. The walk to the water is short and wheelchair accessible if that’s a factor. The hostess was very accommodating and quick to respond to texts, offered suggestions of places to visit and made our visit even better. Thanks so much!

We rented this beautiful home while our son was at hockey camp at Michigan Tech. The home was absolutely beautiful and fulfilled all of our needs. The owners were amazing and extremely communicative. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area!!!!

Beautiful quiet contemporary
The townhouse is spacious, modern, lovely in every way. We can tell that a lot of thought went into repurposing the old Chassell Community Center. Every detail makes the townhouse feel like home. Thanks for sharing your place! Will be back.
