I had friends coming from the Upstate and NC to attend with me the Night of 1000 Candles at Brookgreen Gardens. I live 1.5 hours from Murrells Inlet but have never rented at beach house. My stays included hotels and camping. Now, because of THIS house, I don't want to leave! The house exceeded our expectations! Beautiful decor throughout the entire house but not overdone. It was very comfortable. We all slept well and felt safe. The availibility of parking was a plus, not that we needed it. Location, we hit the jackpot with this house. Although it is a block off the beach, you still have a nice view of the ocean. The beach is just a short walk across the street. I must say the Guest Host was available when I had questions and was very accomodating from the time before check-in right till the end when I got home. Would love to go back. Our two-night stay was a great experience. The gracious host made it come full circle.

This was the perfect location to share Thanksgiving with family from near and far! We would definitely come back to this rental! Perfect for two families with adult children. Great bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and nice big living-room and kitchen to hang out in. Walkable to the beach, plenty of parking, great porches to soak up the sun and views.

View of the beach without paying oceanfront prices was great. Fit 9 cars and 2 golf cart underneath easily. Easy beach access. Note this is a duplex. In the original listing, it wasn’t clear that it was. The owner was Very nice to let us into the house prior to checkin time since it was ready.
Stayed mid-Sept after high season so it needed a deep clean.
We enjoyed our time and loved riding golf carts around! If you rent, ask for extra extension cords as you have to plug in from the balcony and drop it down.

This is a great home for a large group of people! It’s so close to the beach and the beach was beautiful. The host was very accommodating and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

The property didn’t let me down it was exactly as advertised. It exceeded my expectations and I’m greatful that it did. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Only five adults slept there but the space was perfect for those who live in the area..
Perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner. We needed to bring extra folding chairs and a portable table. Would highly recommend to friends . Sue was great to work with.

Perfect beach house stay
Beautiful property by Garden city beach, just 1 minute walk to the beach. House was well maintained, spacious and easily accommodates 16 people. Owner/property manager Sue is the best. Very responsive to queries. She contacted us proactively to give us check-in and other info about activities in the area. She also provided complimentary beach towels voluntarily. My family all including kids had a wonderful week at the home. We certainly recommend this house and will return in future. Thank you Sue and vrbo.

We got to work directly with the owner. She was great! She gave us advice on local places for food and drink. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay.
