The rooftop pool was great, fantastic view.

Power was out for about 8 hours...coffee machine didn't work but was fixed promptly after notifying staff.

perfect location with everything you need in the apartment (even a washer/dryer) incredibly clean, and the staff were fabulous. the rooftop pool and sunset hour were stunning- and the pool /bar staff incredibly accommodating. would definitely stay here again

Room was very good, modern, clean and well laid out. Kitchen had everything that was needed with full fridge with filtered water which was necessary as tap water not recommended for drinking. Rooftop heated pool was excellent with fantastic views of Bandera Bay. Pool staff was excellent. Cleaning staff excellent and evening room service also provided bottled water if wanted, nice to have for day trips. Location was excellent as once walk down hill and head right, everything in Romantic Zone and Malecon within blocks. There is an excellent breakfast cafe just half block away on entry street to complex. Interestingly, they don't post a lunch or dinner menu but they actually supply the rooftop pool with a very good lunch/dinner/snack menu. I used the concierge VIP taxi service from the airport which was excellent and saved a lot of hassle, but not cheap ($US 43, charged to your room). I think taxi is normally around $US 25-30 from airport terminal as special taxis used have only access. Bellman was excellent to call for taxi back to airport which cost only about $US 16 with tip (250 pesos + tip). Bellman actually got taxi to agree to 200 pesos but driver was not pleased and since he was very friendly and good, I agreed to give him the 250 he had originally requested. These normal city taxis drop you off half block from airport terminal entrance in general parking lot.

The only thing that prevented me from giving excellent rating was lack of hot water for 3 mornings - only lukewarm. Everyday I asked for it to be attended to and reception desk said that it would be fixed each day. Took 3 days before actually fixed, so manana definitively still alive and well in Mexico. Not a big deal but main reception at back of lobby of building across street at other Pinnacle building. Also not a big deal but worth noting for those not able to climb steep stairs - the last block up hill to resort is straight up. Fortunately there is a funicular that operated until 10pm each night that is useful - no cost but tips welcomed. There is also a back route (walk east towards hill and take left onto stairs/street) that is more gradual climb but is dark and isolated at night so a little sketchy if alone.

Overall, it was a great experience to enjoy PV and right in the heart of Zona Romantica. The unit I was in was well appointed, clean, and perfect for a single or a couple.

The guest/visitor policy was iverky restrictive, especially given the location in PV. It may work for some but unfortunately will be why I don't return there.

Fantastic location for beach access and many food options.

Lack of service at pool and restaurants. It took more than 90 minutes to get food three of the four times we ordered, the fourth it never showed up. Extremely loud rooms. All doors slam constantly accompanied with the sound of water draining through pipes next to the bed all hours.

exponentially more expensive for what you get. Staff gives no leeway with basic things like guests visiting, late checkouts etc. They don’t let you use the pools from the other buildings which is very strange.

Great view from the rooftop swimming pool. Well located and has easy access to food/groceries, nice bar with good food and drink of fair prices.

A lot of noise that disturbed the sleep, the administration disabled our electronic key before due time (which was annoying), poor reception of customer’s request.

Be careful using a third-party booking source with this property. The front desk personnel have a clear adversarial approach with Booking.com and Hotwire customers. They argued that I booked a street view on the lowest level when there was zero mention of it when I booked. The room was fine, but it overlooked the street and was on the first floor. Noise from neighboring construction and music from the security desk was a huge distraction and prevented restful sleep - NO VIEW. Of course there was an upgrade charge for a room away from the mess. Frankly, I was too tired to argue but will infiltrate SM with commentary about this property so folks know what a disappointment this place is. Pool deck is spectacular. Team upstairs are awesome.
