I took my mother to visit my brother and rather than stay in his tiny apartment, I thought it would be nice to rent a house on the beach. This was perfect with 3 queen beds and 3 bathrooms. We loved the easy walk to the beach. I would stay here again.

This was our first time in Dauphin Island and it was wonderful! My husband I came down for some R&R and the house was just perfect for that! We brought our pups with us and were happy to see that the porch had a gate on it! I loved the open and airiness of the house. We had zero issues with anything at the house while we were there! We brought all of our own “beach necessities”, but was pleased to find they have a closet full of things! I thought this was so neat and nice for them to have, whether they provide or people want to leave stuff for others to use! Will definitely look at availability next time we come down!

We stayed at Beach Haven for 8 days at the end of January. The weather was different every day, but we enjoyed it all. The bedrooms were comfortable and the living space accommodated us comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Our favorite thing was walking on the beach. We like the casual, quiet atmosphere of Dauphin Island.

Nice place just step from the beach and a good view of the waves and sunrise from my pillow. Yes, there is a house between this one and the beach, obstructing some of the view, but not all. The beach itself is beautiful here, nice amd briad unlike cliser to west end. A mile walk east to Pelican Peninsula where you'll find natural beauty and solitude. The house was well equipped with just about everything you could possibly need. I'd stay here again.

Easy steps to the beautiful beaches and our immediate needs were addressed timely. However, we had to do laundry daily as there were not enough towels for kitchen or bath use. The home was quiet and so was the neighborhood which was great. The home needs some attention to small details and supplies but we made it work.

Location to the beach is perfect, and the house is nice. This is our second visit to this house, and this time the washer was finicky, dryer didn't heat well, and dishwasher didn't clean. Inconveniences, but overall enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

The house was really nice with a great beach view, was super happy with everything. There was a ton of beach equipment (chairs, shovels, stuff to build sandcastles). The only complaint I have was that the propane tank for the grill was empty (but we did an exchange and it was fine). We stayed for 12 days and it was awesome. The house was clean and literally right on the beach.

Absolutely loved it! Stayed with my Mom and two toddlers. Just a few steps from the porch to the ocean. Home was stunning, bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces so comfortable. Very family friendly. We will be back soon!

The house has so much natural light and is very pretty and light.The rooms are all a very good size and the kitchen was very large and we came during the weekend before Thanksgiving and enjoyed the deck and the view of the water.There is a home in front of it but the way it sits, there is still a view and you can be at the water in less than 5 minutes. We enjoyed the deck and being outside .This home was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and will be back

We had such an amazing trip. This home is in a perfect location. Just a few steps and your feet are in the sand!!! The view is great and the beach is quite! The home had everything we needed to make the week amazing!

Our stay was great! The house had everything we needed and was good views to the beach even tho the big house is in front. The walk to the beach is a bit further than we expected but we got plenty of exercise. Some houses dont have enough beach for your chairs. This was very spaced out. Saw dolphins stingray fish crabs. Water was perfect. Great weather. Missed Dinners Ready. They’ll be back in couple weeks and missed Foxys smoothie bowls. Get those next time 😂. Vacasa is always extra. We will book here again

We needed a few days to collect ourselves so we took two teenagers our grandchildren to this place we loved it there was plenty of ocean front and the breeze was so refreshing we will visit again

Terrific location in great shape! Loved sitting on the deck with a bottle of wine in the evening.

The home will clean and well maintained. The beach was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for Christmas and it was amazing! The house was clean and plenty of room for my whole family and for the kids to play. The beach was quiet and beautiful! There is a house in front but you still can see the beach and hear the waves. We will definitely be staying here again!

Everything except there is a rental home apparently built this summer that blocks an open view of the coast.

Had a great time. Location was perfect. House was very clean and lots of room for my grandson. Spent the week there, which was not enough time.

One tub did not want to drain but otherwise we had a great stay. Thank you!

Spent the mornings with fresh coffee on the deck watching the dolphins. Kids enjoyed their spacious rooms and the close proximity to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a cleaner rental. Property was well maintained and we loved the character of the house. The wifi had no noticeable lag and the large dining table provided a great space for our game nights. We know our next trip to the island won’t be soon enough. Thanks

DO NOT BELIEVE THE ON-LINE PICTURES from Vacasa properties. This IS NOT an “unobstructed beach view” - and we just paid $5000 for a week’s vacation in a construction site. Vacasa’s misrepresentation of this house is criminal - they should have made us aware that there was a complete home construction going on right off the porch/beach view. We spent the week listening to beeping heavy equipment, nail hammering, and continued hassle by the “owners” for passing through their property to get to the beach (rather than walk through the nails and wood piles that were to the right of the house where our beach access line is). The house is beautiful - but Vacasa’s cleaning team left all the dishes/pans dirty- just adding to the vacation stress. To the home owner: change your rental management company - you ARE NOT getting your monies worth!!
