The lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It is surrounded by stunningly beautiful countryside. We found plenty to do during the day: walking, mountain biking and visiting Llangollen, Castell Dinas Bran and the aqueduct, but loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings. Bed linen and towels were provided and, as there was a kitchen, we were able to cook and eat breakfast and evening meals at the lodge. All in all, a very enjoyable short break in a peaceful location. For us, having a car was useful.

The lodge was stunning! Location perfect with beautiful scenery and very peaceful, everything you needed was provided for you and more...hosts very welcoming ,friendly and helpful, what a lovely break we had, it couldnt have been any better!!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about our stay here at the lodge, you would have to be very choosy to find anything wrong with this place!!!

The Lodge is exceptional with all the facilities you could need. Lovely personal touches of welcome gifts. It’s situated in the middle of no where which was perfect for us with no distractions. The children loved being outside and making friends with the farm animals, especially the pony! You can see the quality in everything, well worth the money. Would love to go back.

The Lodge was modern, clean and luxurious. placed in a beautiful, peaceful and private setting made it very relaxing. the owners were very helpful, responsive and friendly.

The Lodge is on a farm, with a few animals round about which we loved. The place is quite small put has everything you need with a huge bed and a gorgeous outlook. The water pressure wasn’t great but obviously this was to be expected with it being off the beaten track, which was part of its charm and was manageable anyway. The owner Angie , greeted us and enquired if we were ok, so helpful without being intrusive. And the WiFi was surprisingly very good. Thanks for a great stay and the lovely welcome pack was a bonus!

Pictures don’t do it justice! Absolutely stunning, no disturbance, gorgeous views from everywhere didn’t want to leave. Lovely little welcome gifts, owner was so helpful too! It was that nice my parents even came to stay the last night, which the owner was more than accommodating with!

Felt like home. Did not want to go home. Really good quality fittings, attention to detail and thought out impeccably. Peace and quiet only disturbed by a small running stream. Truly gorgeous. A wonderful break.

Now I am being really picky here and by the nature of my comments you will realise the lodge was all but faultless. However for me and this a personal statement. The TV was too small and on the wrong wall and if I craned my neck the leafless tree in autumn failed to hide some mobile caravans in the field behind. Perhaps for the rest of the year the leaves do their job.

Lovely lodge, highly recommended. Nicely presented, very clean, super comfy bed and sofa. good storage areas. full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher and oven. Extra towels were available if needed. Contactless check in. Great area, we visited castles, Portmeirion, liverpool and llandudno. the area has many lovely relaxing walks, it is very peaceful and rural, just fabulous. we found that the wifi worked really well and had no trouble with it. there is no mobile phone signal, but picked up the wifi to stay in touch with family. i saw a comment that there is no recycling here, that is not true the chap collected the recycling while we were there, it just goes in a separate bag in the big bin.

Highly recommend The Lodge. Such a High standard . There is everything there that you need. Just take yourself and a few clothes and food ❤️ I went with my daughter, grandson age 12 and 3 year old granddaughter. It is situated in peaceful rural surroundings with sheep and horses to observe and fantastic views. We also are great full that it is dog free having my grandson with a dog allergy. I could go on and on how beautiful it is but go and check in and find out for yourself! ❤️❤️ Thank you to Angie and Patrick We loved it. Xxx

Nothing apart from a rural place so phone signal intermittent and expected. It’s nice to put the phones away and have family time.

Peace and quiet, just what we were looking for, well equipped with everything you need and more, bed super comfy, great patio area for when the sun shines, views are awesome, we’ll be back.

No TV reception n the Internet connectivity was intermittent. Having a dish rack would have been helpful.
