Nice view of the mountains, washer / dryer and the kitchen facilities were great. Bedrooms were nice and spacious.

Yes it was described as steps, but without anywhere to set down to unpack luggage or a car space, at $805 per night is very overpriced. The condition of the property was terrible, mouldy awful smell in the bathroom. I cleaned the sink plug myself including the black gunk underneath the vanity sink plug!!! The toilet brush had dried used toilet paper on top of the brush and when I went to clean it myself there was brown (shit) coloured and smelling liquid in the brush pot. Black mould on the window sill and shower cubicle tiles. The tiled bathroom floor was in a poor state with chipped and damaged tiles. Couches is living space very old looking with lots of stains. Oven had alfoil with grease on a tray on the bottom of oven, previous guests??? The balcony floor was dirty including bird poop, and a old broken fly screen was laying on the balcony floor. Damaged carpet to steps leading to apartment and low lighting on wet metal steps, very dangerous in wet icy conditions. Cleaning equipment located outside entry door of apartment, very untidy and not what I expected of a apartment costing $805 per night. A old dirty table was outside on the balcony but no chairs to sit on. This was supposed to be a lovely rememberable experience and I didn’t mind spending extra money, we have stayed at much nicer accommodation in Thredbo for a third of the cost. Very disappointed, this accommodation was terrible, and very overpriced. it enough power points, power boards in the bedrooms, only one power point in bathroom with the washing machine and dryer not able to be run at the same time, was very substandard considering the very high cost of the accommodation.

The views of Thredbo were epic and the whole apartment was warm and cosy.

The lack of communication of no where to park and how steep the property is to where you can unload your car. Everyone excluding myself also fell down the stairs inside the property and shortened our experience of being able to ski due to the high gloss of the timber it really needs grip tape. The kick board near the fridge was also removed damaged or not complete so when my daughter fell off her chair she didn’t just hit the floor she also cut open her back.

The amount of stairs, up to and inside, the position on the hair pin bend, lack of safe parking to off load and pack up. There is no “legal” parking near the property. As moderately fit late 50 and 60 year olds, the number and steepness of the stairs was doable but very off putting. we could have dealt with either the steep ascent to the base of the property OR the stairs, but both was excessive. The lack of disclosure and understated mention of “some stairs” is a big problem. it was also very wet and this did not help with negotiating these exceptionally steep stairs. The staircase within the apartment were also very steep and narrow- difficult to negotiate at night if the toilet was needed. Bathroom was very out dated. the couch was badly stained. I was very upset by the $1000 bond that was required, after paying the full amount and after the date I could cancel without penalty.

Lovely apartment, great stay. Before staying, I had read some comments about the long walk - but it really isn't that bad at all. We left our ski gear in the car so we didn't have to carry the gear and wear our boots up the hill :)

Other than the price, it was great.

Our friends stayed in a much bigger apartment for less money. So I think the price was quite high. They also had parking, to bathrooms.

View was good.

No car parking within a 1klm walk, nowhere safe to unload luggage, drive around for 45 minutes trying to find any park at all, copped abuse from snooty locals for trying to unload luggage, property was on a massively steep slope with awkward access to get groceries and luggage up to the property. Got completely drenched in freezing conditions trying to reload car to leave, property was in was in unhygienic conditions when we arrived. Dirty clothes in washing machine, dirty dishes in dishwasher, Gas heater cut out as filter was so Seriously blocked. Fire hazard. Seriously want a refund.....

Location and views. Close walking distance to everywhere and also free shuttle buses run in the winter which was great especially with smaller children. Plenty of wildlife around also (wombats, rossellas, rabbits). Apartment had great heating and was warm and cosy.

Check in was at 4pm due to covid clean so having to check in at 4pm and not 2pm we were expecting property to be spotless but there was an inch of dust under both beds, hair on the bedding, heater was found under a bed covered in thick dust, washing machine was filled with wet towels and sock. Some of the glasses in the cupboards were dirty and Some kitchen shelves dirty. House keeping requires more attention if check in is to be delayed by 2 hours for cleaning.
