Everything was fine

There was an excellent choice of cereal, teas and coffees for breakfast. We ate outside in a beautiful spot under the verandah and next to the garden. We had loads of room - effectively a four-room apartment for us and another apartment for our daughter. Our hosts, Vanessa and Geoff, were very warm and hospitable. The house was an attractive 19th century mansion, very thoughtfully restored, with high ceilings to keep out the heat. The location was superb - in the centre of town but also peaceful - a short walk from a beautiful park and impressive town hall and churches.

It was comfortable, clean and we felt very much at home. There was ample room for us to sit and enjoy each other’s company. Close to all amenities. Walking distance to CBD. Lovely outdoor area situated in well kept gardens. A quality property which is well maintained. Thank you Vanessa and Jeff! We enjoyed our stay.

Anglesey House was impeccable. Vanessa was a fabulous host who showed us around and made sure we were set to go. The house was beautiful and so well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was spacious, the towels were big and soft and everything was so clean and welcoming.

The house is beautifully decorated and you feel very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend staying and enjoying the wonderful home.

This late 1800s property was exquisite in every way. Beautifully furnished, very spacious and loads of surprises from biscuits on arrival and lots of thoughtful goodies. Absolutely one of the best properties we have ever stayed in.

on arrival we where greeted by Vanessa very welcoming and helpful , this beautiful heritage home is a great place to stay a short stroll the Forbes Club and just around to corner to the shops . will definitely stay again😁

Historical house with all the required faciliities. Host met us on arrival and ran us through the property. Amazing slyling and comfortable beds highly recommended

Anglesey House is a beautiful Victorian home located right in the town centre. The ground floor apartment comprises the former ballroom complete with ornate period detailing, a marble fire place and original windows, and is tastefully renovated and decorated. Vanessa is a warm and delightful host who welcomes you to her home and town with plenty of tips what to see and do and where to eat. Lots of special touches too such as a lovely camellias fresh from the garden.
