This rental is in an old building that has been renovated to accommodate some rentals. We loved the high ceilings and windows that let in a lot of light and made the rental seem very big. It is very spacious. We made use of the well equipped kitchen and there are plenty of all kinds dishes to use if you want. We had gorgeous weather when we were there and so we walked everywhere in town. It is a very clean and pretty area. If you are a light sleeper the rental is close to the road so the traffic noise might affect you. It is a light traffic area, so it’s not too bad. Wonderful stores and restaurants all in very close proximity to the rental. We felt very safe walking around town. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location was excellent for walking in the downtown area and marina. Apartment was furnished with everything we needed. Will stay again next time I'm in Alpena!

Property was super clean and very nice! We appreciated all the little touches and extras to make our stay more comfortable. Owner was super responsive to an issue we had upon arrival and he had had lots of great info about the area. Walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the water. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This is a 100% perfect place for anyone to stay. It's gorgeous inside, elegantly decorated, for downtown strolls to get coffee or a short walk to the beach. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay as the property was on the edge of downtown Alpena, which has developed into a nice evening destination. Recommend dinner at Fresh Palate and Red Brick.

Booking and communication with the owner was an easy process.
We were really impressed with the property! The rooms were very clean, large living area , fully stocked kitchen, nice shower/bathroom, comfortable bed - really all was beyond our expectations.

Highly recommend! Clean and super spacious. Located right in downtown Alpena so you’re close to restaurants, shopping, marina and nightlife. Chad was easy to work with and helped me out with some limitations due to my job. I will definitely stay here again in the future if it’s available.

Fabulous place! Squeaky clean, beautiful and within EASY walking distance to everything we love in Alpena. Lake Huron sunrise was amazing.

The owner was very responsive with questions and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

FROM NY TO ALPENA!
My brother and I drove to Alpena to meet his 4 month old grandson for the first time . I didn't want to stay in a hotel and finding this diamond in downtown was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is so well equipped. I even brought, NY Italian food in trays and was able to easily provide dinner for 4 visiting adults and the baby and his Aunts. I will absolutely stay here in the future if I could! Thank you thank you! Family is everything.
