Das Hotel ist Teil eines weitläufigen, mehrere Quadratkilometer großen, abgesicherten Resorts. Das Zimmer mit fantastischem Meerblick war sehr sauber und geräumig. Der aufmerksame, freundliche Service im großen Hauptrestaurant ist bemerkenswert, aber auch die Rezeption zeigte sich immer hilfsbereit. Zum Frühstück werden die Eierspeisen frisch auf der Pfanne zubereitet. Das Buffet besticht durch seine große Auswahl, da ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Wir haben den hervorragenden, gepflegten Golfplatz mehrfach gespielt, er ist vom Hotel aus mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle zu erreichen. Im Umkreis von einer halben Stunde Autofahrt kann man auch auf mehreren anderen schönen Plätzen golfen (aber der Zimbali Country Club ist eine Perle).

Am Wochenende wurde es deutlich voller. Viele sicherlich nicht arme einheimische Familien machten Kurzurlaub mit Kleinkindern. Da wurde es etwas lebhafter aber überhaupt nicht störend.

Everything about the property was perfect, from the restaurants, to the rooms to all the other facilities. I definitely enjoyed my stay

One of the staff members barged into our room without knocking on the door luckily we had the protective latch on, for me this was unacceptable and staff should be better trained next time. The staff in question used her key card and entered without knocking .. this came as an extreme shock to us as we have never experienced this in any of the hotels that we stayed in around the world

Had everything we needed

The breakfast was great and supper too

When we arrived no one welcomed us at the parking, no one came to assist with luggage, at reception we were attended by the new person who was unable to locate our reservation in the system. The room had a leaking shower which makes the carpet to be damp and smelly. The linen was not changed as my hair bonnet colour messed with the pillow and the sheet.

Love relaxing around the pools and the rooms are great for a good nights rest with the black out curtains

Driver of the van urinating on the side of the road, not great for guests to see. It was outside the entrance to the estate, but the van is identifiable, especially if you caught it earlier to get around the estate. Service around the main pool is great, but need more staff over weekends / busy times. Waiting 90 minutes for a Caesar salad is not reasonable.

I will suggest they must think about installing heated pools at the property

Love the location, rooms, breakfast and service. Always a great experience. The room was also greatly priced for a resort like Zimbali.

The biggest drawback with Zimbali is that the beach is not swimmable but there are ample swimming pools in the resort
