Fabtastic rest and relacation after the hustle and bystle of Disney and Universal. Fishing, swimming, nicely decorated and well stocked kitchen. Lots of bird watching and nearby walking paths. Highly recommend!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our 5 night stay at the property. It’s super clean and nice. All the furniture and bedding are pretty new and comfortable. Located in a quite neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and fished in the backyard. Melissa was very accommodating and flexible with us! Definitely recommend the house!

This place was perfect for my elderly parents, son and grandkids. Quiet and clean. Crystal River has a lot of natural beauty to explore and some great restaurant options.

Great location just off Chrystal river. Very clean and comfortable. Great place to bring your own boat or even rent one. Plenty of room for large family. Great location for scalloping, fishing

Overall nice home and location house was clean and well stocked. Only gripe I have is the motion detection that turns off the air conditioner in the day is kinda annoying.

We have stayed at this home several times and loved it. This time was no exception, the new owners have made some lovely updates and improved the stay even more. Home is clean and well stocked. Although most of the time was spent outdoors. Owner is also wonderful and fast to communicate. We will be back soon. Thank you :)

We had a great time at Salty Sisters. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Melissa is easy to talk to, and happy to answer any questions. It’s easy to get it out to open water with your boat or over to Three Sisters and Hunter Springs. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

The family enjoyed their stay at the house. Everything was reported to have been clean and in working order. The pool was a big hit in the evenings. They didn't get to paddle because of the typical Florida afternoon weather but otherwise really enjoyed their stay.

The house was perfect for our week on the river. Everything you needed and great location to kings bay and the gulf. Would recommend to all friends and family.

We came to CR to view the manatees we learned about in my kids science class this year - this was a prime location for all sorts of fun. First, the house was in excellent condition, so clean. The pool provided for hours of fun when we decided to relax from our excursions. The location was excellent! I encourage visitors to read all of the restaurant and outdoor recommendations the owner left for visitors...they were spot on! Loved and tried so many, as we were here 6 nights. Don’t miss Pecks - the drive and scenery are spectacular! We did a tour to swim with manatees, then rented a boat from Plantation and visited manatees on our own for two days. Could not recommend the experience more...and this house is perfect for all the things!

Great location and very quick response from the owner. Heated salt water pool, bikes, kayaks and paddle boards were nice additions. No issues during the whole stay. Only advice for out of state travelers. Avoid outdoors during dusk due to the biting no-see-ums, or have bug repellent handy before venturing out during this warmer season. We got bitten in seconds when we arrived, 7 pm ish.

This is a great place to stay. Lots of walking areas close to the property. We did not see much wildlife this year compared with other stays, guess we were unlucky this year, but the area is beautiful. Upon check-in the property was clean and inviting. Everything in the house worked as expected. Communications with Melissa was excellent. We enjoyed the pool, but there were nights cold enough the heater could not recover the next day - I guess that is the enjoyment of Feb! Bring your bug spray!! We had quite a lot of no-see-um bites. They itch for several days. May not be a problem other times of the year, but this year they were everywhere we went!

We had a wonderful time staying here! The home was very nice and in good condition, everything was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and the saltwater pool was great for relaxing! We also appreciated the information about the manatee tours and other fun things to do nearby. Overall, it was a great experience and would love to come back!

Crystal Rivers has so much wildlife to explore for nature enthusiasts!! The Salty Hideway is the perfect quiet place to relax. The location is ideal to enjoy all the amenities such as fine restaurants, unique boutiques, and of course discovering the life of the Mantaees!!

Place was very clean and cozy. Instructions were left on how everything works and what’s expected. However 2 of the TVs did not work. No big deal, we were not there to watch TV. We had family members straight across the street and across the canal. Had a great time spending time with them.

Can’t fault owners who go strictly by the rules but it felt just a little claustrophobic. Apparently and sadly, they’ve encountered some unruly guests recently, but as an owner of properties myself I understand. Maybe this comment will help protect their investment from future undesirables. The property was as advertised. Very clean, nice decor with step up quality furniture. Very convenient location. Other than last minute changes to agreement (requiring driver license copy, reiteration of the rules, reminder that they have outdoor cameras), they were very accommodating to last minute request to extend our stay. Owners are pleasant who just want to protect their investment. Tenants should respect that always.

My family and I had an absolute blast and had an extremely memorable week staying at this home. We loved kayaking, swimming, boating, fishing, and just relaxing as a family. The home was very clean, pleasantly decorated, and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and well balanced. The house rules were clear and easy to follow. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had and a pleasure to talk to. We look forward to staying at the home again and are already trying to figure out dates. Thank you Melissa and Jose for a great stay.

Melissa was great to communicate with, very prompt. The location was great: We saw a dolphin and manatees right there in the canal. The pool was warm, and there were kayaks, a canoe and bikes. The house was so clean, and the bed situation comfortable for the five of us. Thanks for a great time.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean and spacious and the pool & pier area were wonderful! . The kitchen was well stocked, very comfortable beds, great neighborhood, which was peaceful and felt secluded, yet close to everything! Melissa was great with communication. Our family will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience
The property was extremely clean and well located. Walking distance to two State Parks with nice trails. Also, close to restaurants, shops, etc. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddled among some playful manatees.

This home is very clean and well stocked with just about everything you need. Bring or buy groceries and clothes and you’re set. Quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed walking our dog and kayaking down the canal. The one rainy day we sat in the sunroom (next to pool) and read and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Melissa was very quick to respond and communicate. We look forward to returning this special retreat! ❤️
