Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the property to be a pleasant place to stay overall. There were some things that could make this house top notch. The furniture and beds were very uncomfortable, I have to say. The appearance was great but lacked comfort. The kitchen tiny and I did my own home remedy that got rid of the ants in the kitchen (at least for our stay there). The manager came by the day we checked in but when we tried to contact her for questions twice during out stay, once regarding checkout procedures, we got no answers. As women, we sat and remodeled the cottage in our minds, which is entertainment for us, lol. We have never stayed in a town before and there was one night the neighbors played music until 4 a.m. so am not sure we will stay in town again. As always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island.

Comfortable beds and seating, plenty of towels and everything we needed in the cozy kitchen—better equipped than most rentals in the US! Highly recommend as the perfect location to enjoy the town on foot or by car from the private back entrance. View of the bay had beautiful sunsets and Cupid's Cay. Owner is extremely nice and was very helpful.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen including thoughtful provision of herbs & spices, olive oil etc. Only downside is that the deck gets a lot of mosquitoes etc, but that goes with the territory. Great location in Governors Harbour, easy walking to coffee shop(Da Perk), Grocery, restaurants, Friday Fish Fry and a local beach. This is our first time to Eleuthera, and we loved the quiet beaches and low key atmosphere! We'll be back. The pictures were very accurate and house was spacious and very comfortable.

The location could not have been better; close to coffee shop DaPerk, the beach access, the grocery store, liquor store and great restaurants. We are dog lovers and we were visited by the host's dog, Pino which was a value add to our stay. It's within walking distance to the Town's Friday Night Fish Fry, which is a must to meet and greet the local folks. We loved it! Every day of our stay was pleasant, relaxing and convenient! Would not hesitate to go back to Folly House! A real gem!!!
