location was great everything close by,good for walks .

The location was excellent; near the shops, restaurants and bus stop. The kitchen was well equipped . There were good views from the front windows.
Not enough towels; plastic hanging from the side of the bath: Wi-Fi password on a scruffy piece of cardboard and not clear: heating instructions inadequate : pillows uncomfortable- 2pillows in one case! No instructions as too what to do with rubbish or bedding. Windows painted shut.

Booked for colleagues, the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location for local amenities. We would book to stay again.

The position was ok. The kitchen was well equipped.
The property was tired and needed a good clean, needs decorating and new carpets desperately needs some TLC in side and out.

This could be good if the owner is prepared to spend some time and attention and a little bit of money bringing this up to an acceptable standard. Sadly the flaking paint, poor and unclean decor and dirty carpet made for a poor impression and there was a lingering dog smell in the front rooms (pointed out by previous reviewers). Beds and pillows uncomfortable.

We all liked the location, the apartment was very well stocked and very clean. Also great recommendations for take aways.

Quiet street in centre of Ballater, well-equipped kitchen inc dishwasher, good electric shower.
Flat has WiFi. Close to the co-op. Short walk to the bus stop for bus to Aberdeen.
Total power cut one evening. Had to spend £20 on electricity key card at nearest shop to get it working again. Was promised a refund of this but have never received it.

Cosy and spacious, we have a newborn and it was fine, noise levels were no problem and it was great.

We loved this place. The accommodation, the location, the facilities were all excellent. Will definitely be back and will be recommending it to our friends.

This was truly a home away from home. Perfect for a family and a dog. We loved the rustic charm, the colourful bedding and the comfy couches. If you are looking for a perfect, modern, crisp environment - book a hotel. If you're looking for somewhere to relax, put your feet up, listen to music in the kitchen and feel at home - then this is it! We'll definitely be back.

The location is superb, right in the centre of the village, it had everything you could possibly need catered for in the apartment and it was much bigger than it appeared in the photos.
The decor could do with a little TLC but it was very clean so I have no complaints, there is a very large window at the top of the stairs on the landing that connects the living room to the bigger bedroom, this had no curtains or blinds on it, that was the only thing I didn’t like.

Amazing Location, Fantastic Views.
I'm returning and booked in next year for Victoria Week.
Quite a lot of doors, skirtings and door surrounds dirty, dirty carpet on stairs, and smell of wet dog in main bedroom. Loose wire on table lamp in bedroom so couldn't use, seemed dangerous. Attention to detail required. Hopefully done by next year when I return.

Lovely quiet location close to town centre, bakery and supermarket. Apartment well-equipped, clean and characterful. Host helpful and friendly. Easy parking outside apartment.
The bathroom sliding door was hard to open and close.
