Good location a block or two from the main square.

Staff tried to charge a $US 50 premium for using card to pay for a one night stay. Nowhere is this shown on booking.com. The only way to avoid this is to pay in Pesos in physical cash. The accommodation is very old and looks to have seen very little update in the last 20 or so years. Doors do not shut and bathroom facilities need improvement. For the prices charged I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom. The garden is very beautiful with a nice pool.

The breakfast was minimal for the price of the stay.

I liked the location. It was close to the town centre. I liked that parking nearby wasn't ticketed. They have a friendly shiba inu dog and a gray cat.

1. Generally communication was not clear. The person at reception couldn't calculate change. We paid 16,000 for a room that cost 15,859. The receptionist said she didnt have change, but she would pay us back 40, which was odd. When whatsapping the contact about the oddity, there was no response. At checkout, trying to explain maths to a receptionist was awkward. Eventually, after stalemate, she came back with 120 saying she didn't have enough. This was really strange. 2. The room is not soundproof. All rooms are connected to the foyer on the ground floor. The door is thin and we could hear everyone talking outside. The lack of privacy was unsettling. The blanket had a hole in it and fluff/feathers fell out. 3. There was no explanation of when breakfast would be, or where it was. The receptionist was nowhere to be seen. Later in the day, other guests trying to check in had to ask us what was going on. 4. I We stayed in an ensuite double room. We had to pay 15,859, which i felt was much more expensive than what locals were charged. Overall, I suggest you try a nearby place instead. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel has an inner court with a pool. There is a little restaurant also within it where you have breakfast (media lunas and bread with jam, tea/coffee, orange juice). Our room and bathroom were both very spacious. Cachi is very small so everything in the town is well within walking distance.

Some doors/windows were a bit broken (bathroom door was hard to fully close, door to our room opened 80% of the way). This is only a minor complaint though.
