Beautiful property with exceptional staff!

The facilities were wonderful, a great location, and everyone was friendly and helpful. This is a fantastic place to stay!

We loved our stay at Belle Normandy. The location is perfect, with beautiful grounds right on the edge of town, only a five minute walk to the cathedral and all the shops and restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the basketball hoop and would have stayed at the hotel much longer if they could have! The staff were amazing. They were friendly and helpful on recommendations, and they also seem very proud of the hotel, which was renovated from an old school. It is a very special place, and I highly recommend it.

Excellent location with a very close walk into the beautiful town. Easy parking. Basic breakfast but very adequate. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were lovely. The rooms were newly renovated, clean and large. We had a double room and then a suite for our 3 teenagers and both rooms were great.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. In particular, Valerie and Clemence went out of their ways to be truly helpful and welcoming. Our room was in perfect shape and very comfortable.

We wished that breakfast could have been included, like many other hotels in Europe.

Couldn’t reach reception or help at 11 pm when we returned to the room soaking wet from rain and the bathroom towel rail wasn’t working. Thought we’d get help 24/7 - maybe we misunderstood?

The breakfast was good quality, With all the baked good we would of liked if there was some scrambled eggs available. We loved the coffee/ espresso maker. The location was ok, would of liked something a little more central but the walk was not long. On arrival, after checking in we sat down to have one of the finest seafood platters we ever had the chance to enjoy and I have traveled for over 33 years.

We had no coffee/tea pot in our room ( 217 ) while other rooms had one. Your bath towels were scratchy and not very absorbent. Would of liked something a little more fluffy luxurious .

1. Stairs only, no elevator 2. Moved to first floor, pavement was not luggage friendly 3. Poor sound proof, can hear everything 4. Rooms are tiny 5. Waited 30 min to check out first time. Gave up, went to lunch, came back to check out but got locked out. Waited another 15min. No staff at reception 6. Location wasn't in city center. 7. This is for booking.com. I was charged 255euros but thr going rate was only 160 euros.

Absolutely superb location just around the corner from the Battle of Normandy museum and a stones's throw from the cathedral. The team have made an excellent job in converting the former school buildings into a really comfortable venue. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in in France. Easy access and parking. Lovely breakfast. The host spoke perfect and fluent English.

Newly renovated facility, everything is new, the room is big, it has nice furniture & comfy carpet, the bathroom is great, the walking shower was amazing! Big windows, lot of light coming in. Super clean everywhere! Nice location, quiet and still very close to the city center (cathedral). Very helpful and nice personal (reception and cleaning). Paid parking available on site, but you can search for free parking also in the area (one exactly in front of the hotel).

The breakfast. This is actually the only reason for which this does not get a full 10. The breakfast is described as varied and having local products, this is not the case ( packaged stuff - 2 types of salami/ham and cheese - Couer de Lion and President, main stream, not local). Lots of sweets and cakes, but they did not look very fresh. Just some croissants avalaible, but nothing else from the bakery and you had to wait a lot for some omelette. The breakfast is definitely not worth the money, just skip it and go out to some bakery. The electrical system was not properly designed and the lights were making a weird noise and losing intensity every few minutes. Restart helped, but only for a few minutes, then it happened again.

The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The rooms were spacious by typical European standards with comfortable beds, AC and excellent updated bathrooms.

Friendly staf, perfect location, very nice room, very tasty breakfast. The basketball goal was a nice surprise for our boys. Next time we’ll stay longer.

Only one little thing: on the ground floor it would be practical to have tilt windows.

Our room was exceptionally clean and quiet. The owners did not spare any expense during the renovations. Our room and bathroom were quite big!

Wi-Fi in the room did not work. But when you went into the lobby it worked fine. But that is minor for us.
