Cant knock the central location and the room was clean

the location above a 2:30am bar with music blasting wasnt advertised, parking limitations also not mentioned and fire alarm panel beeping non stop

location was good.and the house was clean.

we were intially finding it difficult to find the address but the host was not supportive..i called him for the address but insteadng of helpng me find the address ,he asked for 50 pounds extra security amount which was not mentioned in the site.i told him i am ok to pay it but lemme find the adress first. he dint give me the door code until i paid him 50 pounds for security.i had no other option than paying it at the last moment.He paid my money back after 3 days.The room was entirely diffrent from wats shown in the pix and congested than expected.we had a wobbly bed which was making noise even if u move in it.nights were noisy as der was some party next room or nearby pub.overall im so dissapointed with my stay.

Parking was on the road outside a busy pub which was not in the description as far as I could see. I don't mind parking on the road but with a busy rowdy pub I was worried about the safety of my car. Could only park outside between 4.30pm and 8am I was asked to pay a £50 deposit before I could have the code to get in and pick up my keys. It was noisy every night from the pub. One night there was a party at the pub and the extreme volume of the music went on until 2am. The apartment was cold and no heating on over night even after complaining this was only rectified on the last 2 days. The kettle lid was broken. The shower was so hot that I could not stand under it. The bed was broken and it took 2 nights for this to be fixed. The kitchen was old and the worktops not joined properly so this was a haven for dirt and germs.

I love the cleanliness of the room and the fact that everything was just perfect.

For 85 pounds of the night it wasn’t much but it appears that everybody is getting a lot for not much. I guess it’s California expectations in an Ashford setting.
