Lovely family-run hotel, very friendly and relaxed. The breakfasts can be as big as you like and the meals are always excellent (although often more than I can eat). I'll always be back!
Slight drawback, as I get older, is a lack of lift access to the rooms. I'll have to make sure I keep fit!

We were upgraded that was nice, the room was large, bed v comfy, shower good, did expect that normal water available in the room. breakfast was good but lacking in staff at times.

Have been here previously. first time for a weekend break Large breakfast choice was served up if required and a very good selection from cereals...fruit juice... to full English. The cook NAT very helpful as always and looked after our dog with sausage as well. Room very clean large comfortable bed. .
Two things the bathroom could do with a little bit of update....shower mixer taps to adjust to get it right ...shower head bit beat up and the sink taps very stiff to turn off so not running away water. Obviously listed building and lot of steep stairs to room.

The situation is great so were the staff.
The room was excellent too
The restaurant was closed so we had to eat on the coffee lounge which was a through fare and dogs were being brought through while we ate.

It was friendly. Breakfast times were narrow, so we didn't bother with breakfast.
The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean.
Bed was very comfortable. Bed linen and towels were pristine white.
I am very impressed with the quantity of tea and coffee and milk in the room.
TV that worked and with efficient heating. Also, windows opened easily.
It would have been nice to have the option of not having breakfast to bring down the cost of the room.
The decor was okay, a bit tired looking.
The bedroom carpet needed a good clean.
It would have been nice to have two easy chairs in the room as two people occupied the room.
A bit of a trek to the room, particularly as I had made a request for minimal stairs as my mobility is challenging.

Room - radiator was on when we arrived, so room was already warm (something we've found lacking elsewhere)
Bathroom - soap was provided- thanks!
Bathroom - needs hook to hang clothes - no heat in bathroom; a towel rail needed for more than one night's stay (one could have been fitted just as easily as the lighted mirror).

Expected some sort of entertainment New Year’s Eve was dead as a dodo

The breakfast was good. The room (240) was a good size although the lighting in it was poor.
The lighting in the bedroom was such that only half the room was lit. Trying to use the hair dryer at the mirror above the dressing table was impossible. Dinner on both nights was very disappointing.

Cleanliness, friendly service, very close to a nice beach. The food we bought in their restaurant was amaizing and the service was impeccable.
Overall the place is a little run down. Rooms had very small tv's, butmconfy beds, bathrooms are fairly clean but could be better. The included breakfast was a bit of a disappointment- water in almost everthing (saw them adding it in the baked beans LoL), and plates / glasses were small to keep servings small - i would have rather payed for a better breakfast..

Efficient check in. Clean facilities. Excellent location for access to beach and other facilities in the town.
As a single traveller I felt completely invisible........throughout a 2 night stay.

Excellent staff especially Nat. Very good breakfasts with superb service from Nat. Friendly bar & reception staff. Communal areas bright & clean. Problem with bathroom fan was fixed quickly.
Room was disappointing as booking confirmation stated SUPERIOR double with king size bed but bed was standard size.
Only room for one easy chair. Carpet needs cleaning. No lift. Corridors dreary.

I had bed and breakfast. The room was lovely, clean and spacious.
The breakfasts were lovely. I ate in the hotel 4 out of the six nights II stayed and food was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
