Very clean and nicely furnished and convenient to our hiking destination. Reasonable price.

The facility was very clean and quiet.

You only get one coffee pack in room. Additional is sold at a cost. There is no cream or sugar, bring your own. No hairdryer. No fan or window in bathroom. No room service between nights. Towels were clean but very old and worn.

Location, close enough to Sugarloaf

Hot water was non-existent day one. Point of use heater for the whole motel did not supply hot water even after running as they suggested, multiple times, for well over ten minutes. After we complained again the owner came; suddenly, miraculously, the hot water came on after only running it for about 2 minutes. I think maybe a valve was shut off that he then turned on, no other explanation seems plausible. Also, the bathroom was a big two steps up from the bedroom. This is fairly dangerous at night for old folks like us to use the bathroom. We had no idea that this was going to be the case, and we would not have stayed there in that room if we knew in advance. Sheets and bed pad were old and the elastic edging was shot so they did not stay on the mattress, we had to keep putting it back on. Ridiculous! No coffee resupply on day two. No decaf coffee at all. Carpet dirty and stained, also gum (black from age) in a couple spots. Completely overpriced for what you actually get. Snow & ice hanging dangerously over the roof edge , overhead of the walkway in front of motel. In my opinion this was a dangerous unsafe condition, as it could fall off at any moment and cause injury or vehicle damage, Managements answer, instead of removing it, was to place a few cones in front of building to keep you from parking too close. Did I mention way overpriced simply because of proximity to Sugarloaf skiing?

i liked the family room a lot! the room was organized very efficiently. great little spot.

The location was perfect for our hiking plans.

The head board of the bed keeped hitting the wall when we moved. I finally put a pillow in behind the head board to quiet it down.

Cozy room with a good quality bed.

Hardly any storage in the room for clothes. Had to walk a couple of minutes on slippery ice to access the kitchen area, which was very cold since it was a separate cottage by itself and the heat was off, with no way to turn it on remotely to warm it up before one enters.i wish I had brought my cleats! The kitchen area had games and books but was pretty unwelcoming overall.
