Rooms were immaculate and beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotless and the room smell very nice. Really like the large walk in closet and the Kitchenette area. It was equipped with a sink and counter area plus a mirror behind it so someone extra could do their makeup. Tv was nice. Very big and clear. Behind our room was 3/4 the way finished but if you moved to the left of the porch and looked right the view of golf course was nice. Complimentary breakfast was minimum right now due to construction but was good. Plenty of parking everywhere.

Breakfast was ho-hum but it was free. Room was newly renovated and therefore very clean. Room was priced reasonably even though the property was going thru a reconstruction phase. As a single traveler, I felt very safe.

I wish I had known beforehand that there was a keurig in the room so I would have taken my choice in coffee. I took ground coffee which was useless. I have had a keurig for years but found that one hard to operate.

Online it shows the lodge totally intact when I arrived it was covered with and surround it with a construction site it was totally closed down and there was an offsite not in the Lodge room available this was very misleading and Upsetting I was going there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had to drive back to Raleigh because it was not acceptable it was not what was advertised it was misrepresentation on your website

The closet

The AC didn’t work, when we tried to call the in room phone didn’t work. The workers outside woke us up early in the morning, breakfast was so far away I would have had to get in my truck and drive over.

Part of the property was under heavy construction. However, we’re put in 1 of the 2 buildings that had already been remodeled. The renovations were done beautifully. Very updated and comfortable.

Instead of a full breakfast, we had to go to the registration office to get continental type food.

The staff were all very friendly and the room had potential

first of all, the gold course is shut down to major renovations and constructions going on. the main pool house area is also shut down because of this construction. you go expecting beautiful views and you see construction and mud. secondly, when we got there we were put in a room with the air at 75 degrees. the temp continued to climb. maintenance came out and could not fix it. at first they stated they did not have another room and then worked something out. we are hot natured people so we like it to be around 65-68 degrees. the next room would not cool below 72 degrees. and if you showered or was drying your hair or even opened the door to go outside the air would go up and you would start to sweat. just over all was not worth the money we paid.

The Ac didn’t work. stayed at 76. There was a large cockroach and bugs in our room.

I’ve been staying here for years. Even With the renovations and remodeling they are doing our stay was wonderful. The staff is always helpful and so sweet.
