We were stranded with a flat tire, on a holiday weekend and they found a way to accommodate a reservation for us. Really worked hard to be sure we were happy and we were. We grabbed a few quick breakfast items to go back home. The hot tub and the lights, trees, etc were very relaxing. Large too and not crowded. Fireplace pits are cool, didn't get to use them though as we were exhausted and would have (and could have) fallen asleep in the chairs we were so tired.

A few things on Booking could be listed more accurately (not the complexes fault, its Booking as they don't want you to know a few details) like a few rooms are actually remodeled Airstream campers and toilet/showers are in a different building. Small but comfortable, we chose a different and "normal room". But don't get me wrong, the airstreams are still nice.

Love the Amigo Motor Lodge. It's the only place I stay when I come to Salida. Its cool, fun but not too expensive. It's well located and easy to get to. I'd love to try an air stream the next time i'm there!

I think the only thing I'd say is that it's actually tricky to find off of Highway 50....the turnoff is tricky. It's easy to miss and you hit the curb instead of the driveway. I know that's not an easy fix nor should it be fixed but it just seemed hard to find.

What a surprise - a motor lodge with 4 star hotel quality, rooms were very modern with design panache and excellent amenities - general facilities charming. Next time I'm in Salida this is the only place I will stay!

This motel was beautiful, the whole place had a great vibe and we really enjoyed the aesthetic.

However the room did not have a coffee maker in it. They probably let you know that in the amenities, but it's not something you really pay attention to until you wake up at 5:30am to go skiing and you can't make coffee. Their breakfast doesn't open until 7:30am either, so you are stuck with waiting or going out to buy some. Our only other complaint was that the pillows were super lumpy and flat which did not make for great sleeping. We would definitely stay again though, these complaints are quite minor.

The patio adjacent to the lobby for hanging out with people was a fun feature. The employees were all happy and helpful. The room had a cool decor and in the lobby they had the best coffee with real cream!

I loved the aesthetic! The room was designed very simple but very cute! I loved the hot tub area- it was so fun at night to see the stars and sit out there! I also loved how they had their complimentary soaps/shampoos/lotions/etc. set up in the room- it seems so much more sustainable than what they typically use at hotels!
