Well equiped apartment with proper kitchen and livingroom on base floor and bathroom, 2 bedrooms and washing-drying machine on 2nd floor. Airco in bedrooms. Netflix on TV in main bedroom.

No lightblocking curtains in bedrooms. Insufficient noise insulation at frontsided bedroom (noise from closeby highway). Very poor seating outside at backside. High price setting in high season where main attractions have huge parking issues or are overcrowded. Better stay in Banff area outside high season.

Excellent location in close proximity to the entrance to Banff Park.

Perfect location, away from the hustle in Canmore, but close enough for a quick run for supplies. As the name says, is literally just before the east gate (of Banff NP). The unit has everything one may need for a self-catering stay. View from one of the bedrooms is outstanding, Owner was very responsive and flexible accommodating us on a last minute request.

Very noisy heating system. Two televisions not working properly. Very annoying noisy renovations next door .

the area scenery

the water pump was constantly running and was heard in the 2nd bedroom, especially at night. Not enough utensils for cooking. 1 couch for 4 adults was not sufficient, that’s why we brought down the 2 armchairs. the front bedroom was always cold. No sealable containers for leftovers. no hangers!!!

the property was the perfect size for us and it was convenient for what we had planned.

The filters above the stove need replacement. There was a pervasive smell in the unit as a result.

Having access to the hot tub after a long day of hiking would have been perfect!

A tad disappointed we had to drive to access groceries, restaurants etc. Thought we were closer to town of Canmore but not really a big deal with planning. Actually liked being out of town.

EXCELLENT location with Exceptional view of the Rocky mountains! Only about 25 minutes drive to Banff town centre! Lovely wooden interiors! Very cosy bedrooms & a nice balcony with mindblowing view( which was definitely a bonus) Very organized amenities! Loved it!
