Clean, convenient location

The main bed rolling on its wheels and not possible to fix in place, a baby gate was provided but too wide for the door frame

The cottage was in the perfect location!Could walk or cycle everywhere! Paul was incredibly friendly and helpful and there were no issues with getting the keys etc. as instructions were sent well in advance! Will definitely stay again!

It was with in walking distance to the town, local eateries were close by, the park was just across the road.

Parking was poor , the location is very close to a main road, the gloomy apartment, the description of the property, the untidy garden, which was not dog proof. (Clever photography - the pictures make out that the grounds are spacious - they are not) We were staying in Apartment One, which was dark and gloomy, due to the mature trees in the grounds, the first thing you were met by when you first entered the property, was the smell of damp. The kitchen was poorly equipped, god forbid you cooked a meal, no serving dishes, no salad or fruit bowl, inadequate cutlery, and not enough crockery, after all you are on your holiday, who wants to keep washing up?! The bathroom was interesting, the shower head was not secure, if you were 5ft high then it would be ideal for you, however any taller, you had to libo underneath it! When using the shower, due to the colour of the shower curtain, you were showering in the dark, because there is no lighting directly above the facility. The lounge/bed area - was a joke, the sofa was uncomfortable, turns out its a sofa bed, there are actually two fires in the lounge? One stuck to the wall, the other a freestanding electric one under that TV. WiFi is intermittent, we had to keep resetting it, apparently according to the owner this has never happened before? The instructions in the folder, were indequate regards to the password - which was war and peace re the amount of numbers you had to use! When the neighbouring apartment happened to be enjoying the spa bath - this caused the television in Apartment one, to pixelate - not ideal, and then when they used the hairdryer, the volume on the TV switched itself off!! The bed was uncomfortable, however, the pillows were lovely. The word Deluxe means luxurious or sumptuous; of a superior kind. This certainly was not the case at Pinewood Cottages.

Stunning room, open and welcoming had everything we needed. Bright and airy, very clean. Easy check in and check out. Huge comfortable bed. The fire was lovely after a rainy day so was the spa bath

Stayed here Mon-Fri, 3-7th July. Very comfortable and an ideal base to explore the New Forest. Highly recommended 😊

The location is absolutely perfect. I don't see how it could be better for a visit to the New Forest. The host was absolutely brilliant and on hand for anything we could need. The garden was divine, and the highlight for me. All facilities were exactly what we wanted and it really felt like it was a home from home!

A baby gate would be advised, but the host said he has already bought one since we discussed it, and the only other feedback I had was the bed on the ground floor needs some non-slip mats under the wheels! Impossible to get in and out without sliding around.

It was very clean,comfortable just a really good place to stay will definitely stay again already recommended it 👍

Excellent location near town.

The whole place (family suite) is a lot bigger than what it looks in the photos. Clean, easy to find, good location and the bath is amazing!

if I would add one small thing it would be a full length mirror!
