The location is close enough to walk to all of the excitement but far enough away from the excitement to enjoy peace. This home will easily remind you of a Grandparent's old country cottage stocked with board games and room for the grandkids to come play! Very cozy yet accommodating.

There was an unexpected issue that significantly impacted the stay, but the owner did all that could reasonably be done to resolve it in a timely manor, Unexpected things happen in life. All we can do respond in the best way we can for the situation. We agreed to a fair resolution and I resumed having a WONDERFUL time in Martha's Vinyard!

it would be more convenient to have linens there and not have to pack them .

I wrote specifically and asked about linens and received a reply that indicated there were linens. I saw in small print that linens were not included and have stayed at airbnb locations many, many times with never even thinking of asking. When I saw that as I booked, I asked if that was a generic statement in the rules or did it apply to this location. I said I could not stay if it were true as we were flying in from Texas and could not bring linens. i received a reply saying it was all set and my request was met. When we got there the beds were made so we did not give it a second thought. After touring all day, we turn in to bed with no linens and a few towels on the porch left by a previous guest. It was pouring rain and late at night so we slept on a mattress. There were no amenities at all. Very disappointing for sure. If my request had been answered by the owner or whoever, this would not have been a problem.
