Everything was excellent!! Communication was quick and check in and check out were simple and smooth. Room was great! Breakfast was great! Staff were all amazing! Easy walk into Gorizia, Italy from the hotel. Also, close to public transportation as well. And, do yourself a favor and EAT AT THEIR RESTAURANT. The food was so delicious, especially the beefsteak! Would definitely stay there again when visiting this area.

One of the best places we stayed at, even if it was just for one day. We were pleasantly welcomed with a free drink and a nice chat. We got the breakfast (5 euros!) and were pleasantly surprised with a DIY toast & tea breakfast. Was worth the money for us. The room itself looked very good and had a nice bed and very nice shower. This hotel defo punches above its weight.

Great location. Next to train and Bus stop. Owner Tomaž is great. He gave us two bikes and we explored the slovenien and Italian side of the town by bike. Absolut great value for money. Apartment clean, bathroom spacious and modern. Shared terrace was also great. I absolutely recommend this.

Air con was a life saver in the heat. The restaurant downstairs was nice, very convenient to have a good meal. Staff were lovely and very accomodating.

We really liked the place. It was very clean and tidy. We had a private parking lot and we could use the bicycles for free. The stuff was extremely kind and caring. The location is perfect, Italy is like 5mins of walk :)

The hosts were lovely! They lent me a spare bike which helped a lot with moving around, and we had a great chat over a glass of wine in my last night.

Very good bed to sleep on, the whole hotel facility is very clean and enjoyable… The room is as well very quiet and allows for a good night‘s sleep! The owner and his young and family staff are really welcoming and good people, who take care of their guests with ease and pleasure! The owner is an excellent chef as well, so having dinner at the restaurant is a real no-brainer… Pricing of rooms, food and drinks is very reasonable… So, if you want to stay in this area, you can‘t go wrong with Madonca!
